DUCK PONDJulian gave Lumi a smile when she said that and laced the fingers of one hand with hers.

They were finally back to the ducks and Julian was sure to give them a stern frown right off the bat.
"Now, no nonsense from you lot, okay?" It didn't look like a single duck payed any attention. But then, none of them bit him, and he'd picked the best possible duck, so...

DUCK PONDSmiling even brighter hugging the plush closer to her. She felt her cheeks flush, and then he laced his finger through hers, yep she was done. They were definitely going to talk and it wasn't going to end well only because she'd find some way to ruin it. Watching him talk to the ducks only made it worse as she giggled uncontrollably. "Look now they didn't bite you!"

"I guess I just needed to talk some sense into them. Birds of a feather," he replied with a laugh. Jack, he was really actually having fun. Even when they were fighting gnomes and that giant Santa thing, he'd... Well, he hadn't really felt like it was life or death, not like in the past.
Tonight.... Was really fun.
He was glad he was getting to spend it with Lumi.

POPPOPPOPShe seemed to be racking up the points but when she looked at the prize table, there was no bracket for the amount of points she'd gotten. "Uhhh?" The ghoul glanced up to the attendant. Tomoko looked down at the duck, then up at Erebus again, smiling sheepishly. "True. I'm lucky this little fella didn't bite me." she laughed a bit. She looked to the other games, head tilting a bit.
"We could. Or maybe we could go see about a dance or two? I want to try and at least see Jack and a few other people before we get too wrapped up in games if that's alright?" Now that she was a Queen, Belladonna was pretty sure she could actually command the ducklings to come let them pet her.
And surprisingly it worked. With a tiny squeak she picked up two ducks at one, happily squishing them to her face. Because hey look, they were really cute and they totally weren't going to bite her cheeks if she was able to put them down fast enough.

Since the ring toss had gone so spectacularly well, Belladonna figured she could spare the extra attempt to throw darts at a few balloons rather than a whole bunch. Her luck had been so poor previously that it had to go excellently now, right?!
