The Corruo - Raven's Secret Lab
Irella/Visum

It was impossible...
Irella looked up at four strange tanks, in them was a strange red-ish, purple liquid, bubbles coming from underneath indicated something was being filtered through them. That was not the weird part, though. What Irella saw inside each four of those tanks, was a blonde woman. Clone bodies of herself. Each of them slightly different with an attribute from some other species, probably whatever had suited Revan for a useful body on different mission for his Jedi Hunter, Visum.
Something inside of Irella felt pulled towards those bodies, but she couldn't sense anything inside them. Something told her that, were she to die, she'd wake up in of those, just like before.
She panicked heavilly on the inside. Was she even in her own body, right now? For the past few years, that she spend with Mabysyn, she never noticed anything physically off about her body, but her mind and how she used the Force had never been quite as it was supposed to be.

Before she even realized it herself, she had thrown her hands up and smashed the tanks to bits with a heavy Force push. The liquid seemed to evaporate as it came in contact with air, leaving the four lifeless bodies lying in glass and metal scraps on the floor. The sight of it was very disturbing. Too disturbing, really. She wanted out of there, but she knew she had no chance of escaping by just wandering about the Corruo in the hopes of finding an escape.

That was when she felt it, coming from behind where the tanks had formerly stood. That sense of pulling on her mind was still there, it hadn't come from inside the tank after all, but rather, from behind it.

She walked around it, discovering a small chamber in the back. As she got near, the feeling got stronger, a feeling that seemed to try to fill the void inside her. The void she filled by draining others of the Force for her to use. As she touched the door, powerful memories exploded through her mind, knocking her on her back to the floor. Images of Raven flashed through her head, images of her being strapped on the table as Raven tortured her and fed her Sith poison. She put her hands to her head as she felt the paint from back then, screaming as she begged for it to stop.
It did, just as soon as it had started.

Irella pushed herself up in an upright position, sweating and panting loudly, as she looked around bewildered. That's when she saw the door had been opened and stored inside was a small container, glowing bright from a sky blue energy that flickered inside. She was standing before she knew it, drawn to the container as if hypnotized by it. She lay her hand on the release valve, then pulled it open. The moment she did, all her memories and energy washed over her, filling her, but hitting like a tsunami. Dropping to the floor, she completely lost all consciousness.

Corruo - Bridge

Cidreau watched surreptitiously as Empress Ensis unclasped her boots. Her ankles and feet looked to be as sickly as the rest of her, the skin around bones tight and pale. His head tracked nonetheless, as she swept past him on bare feet, tattered black dress trailing behind her. Her gait and pace suggested she looked worse than she actually fared. He stood up to his full height as stepped out of the holding cell area and onto the bridge itself.

Gathering himself, Cidreau cautiously followed his Empress out the way he came in.

"I want to know what ship they came in on... Then, I want to know exactly who they spoke to, who gave them clearance to enter, and allowed them to leave the hangar to the Bridge without sending notification," Empress Ensis commanded.

Cidreau drew in a breath to respond, but was interrupted by an Ensign arriving to deliver a report. Cidreau listened to his words. He was familiar of Darth Isani by reputation, but knew nothing of the other named Sith. More importantly, the second Sith had reportedly been located on Naboo, where the Empire had just opened an embassy. There was undoubtedly a connection there. Cidreau snapped to as Empress Ensis issued new orders.

"I want the hangar on lockdown," Empress Ensis declared. "No ship will go in or out, except for mine, or with my explicit permission. Admiral, can you get the Corruo to fly us to Naboo? A solution to our little Sith problem has come on our path..."

"At once, my Empress," Cidreau acknowledged, snapping a salute. "Your will be done."

He turned to face the rest of the bridge.

"Release the bridge from lockdown!" Cidreau yelled, spittle flying from his mouth. "I want all hands on the bridge! Every station should be manned!"

The deck exploded with activity. Cidreau began to march forward across the bridge.

"Where is that status report on the floor sweeps?! I should have had that five minutes ago!"

Out of the corner of his eye, Cidreau could see the communications officer begin to make his way away from the Empress.

"Ensign, contact the Reborn! Tell her to form up with the Corruo and make the jump to Naboo alongside!"

Cidreau looked away from the low-ranking officer and his superior to survey the bridge again.

"Let's saddle up, people!" Cidreau barked. "Let's get this beast underway!"

Naboo - Theed

Explosions ripped through the upper level of the building, and Kal fell over from the concussive wave, hand gripped on his blaster as he fell. He cried out when his stomach protested madly at the impact. The whole world went wide and Kal fired blindly around him. He had zero visibility, bright light overwhelming his vision, but with any luck he'd hit his attackers. A piece of ceiling collapsed on face and upper body, preventing him from ceiling, even as his vision was starting to recover, and restraining his hands.

Kal lost hold of his pistol and felt the sting of panic grip him as it clattered to the floor. He couldn't find his communicator. Where was his communicator? His ears were ringing. He had to talk to Agent Liera.

The Corruo - Bridge
Ensis

Ensis looked around, watching everyone jump to attention as Cidreau took charge of the Bridge. Satisfied with how everything proceeded under his command, Ensis nodded towards the man and turned to the main elevator, making her way to leave. Every muscle in her body started to ache and while she maintained the illusion of revitalizing, it became harder to do so as time dragged on. The glee from hearing the news she just had gotten, only managed to push her so far and she was beginning to break. She had to be rested by the time they would get there.

"I'll be in my quarters, Admiral Cidreau. I... have to prepare for when we arrive." She told him, tapping the broken saber in her hand. It was a partial lie, there was no time to work on fixing her weapon and she had more than one spare, in her chambers. In truth, she needed to get to her chambers quickly and hope her private medical tank would provide the boost she needed to recover, for now, she still could not feel nor use the Force around her as before.

Naboo - Theed
Elysia

Elysia kicked down the floor panel she cut open and dropped down the hole. She landed on both feet, just a few feet from Kal, dressed up fully in her mandalorian armor and one blaster pulled on her target. She noticed the weapon on the floor and immediately placed her foot on top of it, looking down at the panicking bounty in front of her, causing her to chuckle slightly. Flicking her thumb over a switch on her weapon, she set her blaster to stun and stepped forward, kicking his weapon back.

"Kal Rem, I presume? The Sith are paying a lot for you, alive. So try not to be too difficult." She mused, pulling the trigger on her blaster.

Corruo - Bridge

"Notify the Reborn that they are clear to jump," Cidreau ordered. "The Corruo will follow soon thereafter."

Cidreau turned to another officer.

"Inform the Empress that we are about to jump to light speed."

"Yes, sir."

The Admiral watched out of the view port as the Reborn moved away from the Corruo coming about to the proper heading before making her jump. Cidreau hoped that his XO would be up to the task of managing his ship by themselves. This would mark the first occasion in which he couldn't personally oversee his ship's functions. The officer beneath him was seasoned, though. No doubt he was competent.

The Reborn disappeared abruptly, launching itself toward Naboo. It would arrive in their system in a matter of hours.

"Admiral, the heading is locked in," a senior officer in one of the crew pits reported.

"Then execute the jump to light speed!" Cidreau commanded with a snarl.

Outside of the view port, pinpricks of white-blue dots formed all about the Corruo, and then the space turned electric blue as the massive ship followed the Reborn to the Chommell Sector.

The Corruo - Throne Room / The Empress' quarters.
Ensis

Ensis had nearly lost her footing while standing the elevator. Her head pounding, vision blurred and spinning. She fell back against the wall in the elevator, only to keep standing by closing her eyes until the motion of the elevator ceased and opened its doors. She stumbled out and moved through the open doors to the throne room, in such a hurry to get to her personal quarters, that it never even occurred to her to question why the doors to the throne room were open, while unguarded.

As she moved past the throne and slammed her hand on the I.D. pad to her chambers, for a second the wall to her left begged her attention. It was almost as if something pulled at her attention, like a draft in the force, but nothing could be seen. It was just a wall, like it had always been.

The door in front of her slid open and she dismissed the sensation she got about the wall, then forgot about it as soon as she entered inside and door closed behind her.

"Milady!"

A Mirialan servant woman rushed forward to Ensis as the Empress fell down to her knees, catching her in her arms before she hit the floor. The blue head of a twi'lek peered around the corner to see what the commotion was about, as did another pink face with blue hair, that of a Zeltron. "Liliya, prepare the Bacta tank! Enii, come help me lift her up!" As the Mirialan called for help, the Twi'lek immediately rushed of to back to set everything up, the Zeltron came rushing in to aid the Mirialan in getting Ensis back on her feet, all the while using her empathic abilities to soothe the Empress' mind and pain. "It's going to be allright, my Empress. We'll get you healed up."

As the two servant women undressed Ensis, and set her up in her own private bacta chamber, the Twi'lek returned from the front of the chambers, having just talked to an officer that was send to inform Ensis about the coming jump to hyper space. After a brief conversation, she had send the Officer back with word that the Empress was not to be disturbed until they had arrived.
"Apparently the ship had been under attack by Darth Venia's army, another Sith has done this to our Empress." She informed them. "They... haven't found her yet." The Zeltron looked up worryingly at Ensis floating in the bacta. "Should we... up the dosis then? If she needs to fight again soon..." She asked. "Well, she did ask them to get the Corruo to Naboo, to which we are jumping now. She'll want to be up and ready quick, would be my guess." "Then we'll switch to the Kolto tank." The Mirialan suggested, already moving her hand to the controls to switch the input. "Are you sure? She did tell us that pure Kolto like this was probably more rare than an ancient sith holocron... we'll be using all of it." The Twi'lek said, making the Mirialan question herself. The Zeltron however, after staring quietly at the tank for a while, pressed down on the hand of her green skinned friend, causing the tank to switch it's input from Bacta to the older, but carefully preserved and more potent kolto. "She wants us to use it... she wants to be ready when we arrive. She doesn't have two days to spare to stay in Bacta."

As the Bacta drained from the tank, being replaced by the rare tank of Kolto, one of many possessions left by Darth Raven, Ensis almost instantly strengthened visibly. Old wounds and scars even, seemed to wash away at the touch of kolto. With luck, she'd be up in time to catch that Kal Rem, before he even knew the Empire's warmachine had arrived at Naboo.

Naboo - Theed
Elysia

She bend down on one knee, picking up the unconscious body of Kal and lifting him over her shoulder. There was a lot of commotion coming from the outside, so going back from where she came in was a no go. Standing up to her feet, she aimed her free arm at the door down the end of the hallway, firing a missile and blowing the door from the wall and down on anyone behind it. If she could make it to other side of the building and jump from a window there, she could use the jetpack to land them both safely and find a speeder from there. Not to mention, tie him up when she could, before he'd wake up. There was no time for that now, though, as she ran through the hall and passed two bodies of armed thugs, she heard more voices coming from the other side of the hallway. They weren't officers, though, but juding by the corpses she passed that had been behind the door, probably Black Sun or something close to it. Who else would hire Weequay.

As she came to the corner, she stopped for a moment after taking it, noticing something coming down her arm. Blood. She dropped Kal back to the floor, taking one quick look back, then hurriedly checking her own shoulder and arm. She wasn't injured, though, and no one was shooting at her yet. Looking back down at Kal, she noticed the two blaster holes in his stumach from which he was bleeding.

"Haar'chak!"

She pulled out her blaster, then shot down the hallway from which they had come, causing their pursuing Black Sun thugs to take cover for a moment. She went back around the corner and knelt down next to Kal, lifting up his shirt and pressed the nozzle of her flamethrower against the wound.

"Good thing you're not awake..."

She grabbed the hose to her flamethrower and put a bend it, preventing the fuel from spraying out, as not to create a large flame. She took a deep breath, then ignited the trigger to her weapon, causing a small scorching burst of fire to envelop the wounded area. She stood back up and with her blaster, shot out the transparisteel window. Judging by the footsteps that hurried her way, they knew what she was doing. She grabbed Kal by the shirt and used all her strength to hoist him up, back over her shoulder.

"Let's hope those wounds stay closed, mister, they didn't mention anything about bringing you in dead."

Then she placed her foot up on the window sill and pushed off, jumping down just in time as blaster fire passed near her head. She activated her jetpack and took a sharp turn to move away from the front of the building, due to the weight of two people, there was a notable delay and slowing down in any movement. She was certain that anybody that would be setting up perimeter down below, would've seen her jump down though, so going to the ground was no option if she didn't want to get caught.

Climbing up, she went just high enough to land down on the roof of the building across. She lay down Kal and turned back to the edge of the roof, bringing down the scope on the helmet to check below for any activity or means of escape. She noticed enough people were moving away from the other building, to widen their perimeter, probably as to seal off the entire block. Looking around, she also noticed at least two patrol ships veering back to where she was, that had initially gone after her ship.

"Well, no time to think... I need a speeder and fast."

She ran to the other side of the roof and peered down. There was nothing on the streets below, however, there was a vehicle lane two blocks forward. It wouldn't be too difficult to jump down in an open speeder and ditch the driver that close to the ground. She nodded to herself and holstered her blaster again. She was going to need her hands empty for this one.

The Corruo - Raven's secret Lab
Irella/Visum

Rage. Pure and uncontrolled rage. That is how she had first gotten to the Corruo. Validus had taken everything from the former Jedi, had locked her up in carbonite for 20 years and now she wanted nothing but revenge. But Validus was no longer, in his stead were Raven and Venia. She would take equel pleasure in ending the students of Validus, however, she had gotten stuck fighting a Zabrak. This Zabrak had been too powerful for her to defeat, her leg was broken and her strength to fights was dwindling. That, is when she first met her. Mabysyn.

She had come from the shadows, even to the Zabrak's surprise, and had pushed Irella to the floor, only to grab a hold of her as a lover. That kiss had robbed Irella of every last bit of power she still had and would surely have killed her, but the Anzat had stopped before that. Their minds had mingled during that kiss and for some reason, the Anzat instead had decided to bring her to Raven.

What followed then was pain, excruciating pain beyond anything she had ever experienced. In that pain, she had been enslaved to Raven's will, her mind bend to his desire by aid of Sith Poison. Then, it had been Mabysyn who shortly after had taken her under her wing, along with the Zabrak. Both of them training her to become a Jedi killer. However, when she was away to Coruscant, Validus had returned and killed Raven, seperating Irella's mind from her master. She had crashed on Coruscant and...

a hand reached out to her. She was standing, armed, below a flight of stairs. Ready to lash out at any one that would get close and instead of frighting back, Sam-el and Ronyo offered only friendship and help. She had taken it and while she had enjoyed being with them, would be forever grateful for what they tried, they could not really help her. The sith poison in her bloodstream continued to make her violent. Soon enough, she returned to the Sith when Raven was revived and that's when their paths crossed once more.

"Raven's pet... little puppy... I can teach you how to be free."

Mabysyn once again defied Raven's wishes, teaching Visum how to be stronger. Teaching her to break away from Raven's will. To be her own Sith and not someone's else their tool to be used as they pleased. Ronyo had fought them both soon after, he had wanted to return Irella back to the Jedi. Irella had refused and on their final confrontation on Kashyyyk, something had killed her, by accident. It had been Isani, helping the Jedi, trying to the burn out the Sith Poison with some new force attack. It had burned away the entire clone body Raven had put her mind in, effectively killing her. Had it not been for his Sith alchemy and expirements, she would have surely died back then.

Instead, she awoke in her original body, back on the Corruo. Once again, it had been Mabysyn whom had helped her and now... now she remembered everything Mabysyn had never wanted to tell her. Now, she remembered everything again.

She openend her eyes and stared up at the ceiling. She felt complete again. All her memories, the empty void inside of her once more filled with her own force presence. She rose up, standing strong and confident once more and unclipped her lightsaber, igniting it in a red beam. Reaching out with her other arm, a drawer in the room before her blew open and another saber flew into her waiting hand. It was her old saber, the one she had used as a Jedi, the one Raven had kept here since the day he turned her. She ignited blue saber, the light waging war with it's red counterpart as both hue's filled the room.

"My name is Irella al-Meara of clan Arelan, and I declare myself Darth Visum, to be my own Master... and never again the likes of you, Raven..." The words would never reach the ears of the now dead Sith Lord, but nonetheless, she had to declare them for her own peace of mind.

Then she turned, lightsaber in hand and moved to destroy everything in that room, every vial, every book, every machine and every creation. There was only one thing in the lab she spared, a single Sith Holocron left behind Venia, one that she would keep for herself. She was sure this had been the one that Raven had used to learn his Sith magic and alchemy.

As the lab burned down behind her, the sprinkler system turned on right as she walked out the door. The destruction unbinded the protection spell Raven had left behind on his lab, leaving the entrance no longer invisible. Smoke poured out behind her as the flames were doused and Irella headed for the exit of the throne room. She was going to look for a way out and killed everyone that would get in her way.

Blowing off the entrance doors to the throne room with a powerful force blast, she took down the two freshly stationed guards standing behind them, as well. That's when she noticed the slight vibration all around the ship, they had jumped to hyperspace, meaning it would be impossible to escape the Corruo right now until they reached their destination. Wherever that might be.

Corruo - Bridge Deck

They were coming up on the Nothoiin Corridor now. From there, they would take the Hydian Way to the Duros Space Run, and from there to Naboo. A bridge officer approached and saluted.

"Speak, Lieutenant," Cidreau ordered, returning the salute.

"Sensor reports have indicated there has been a breach in the throne room."

"A breach... Can you be more specific?"

"The locks on the throne room doors have malfunctioned, and the security post is not responding to our calls," the lieutenant explained nervously.

"Our intruder, most likely... Get a team of shock troopers down there, immediately!" Cidreau ordered. "Once they're there, lock down the entire deck! No one gets in or out!"

"At once, Admiral," the lieutenant said, saluting.

The lieutenant turned on his heel and marched off while Cidreau approached one of the crew pits.

"Bring up holo surveillance of the throne room, now!" Cidreau demanded with a raised voice. "I want to see everything that's happening in there!"

Naboo System

Captain Yarthkins entered the bridge of CR92a corvette Pha. Lieutenants Lib Reteerts and Divad Nilt stood. They saluted. Captain Yarthkins wordlessly returned their salute. The wall-sized monitors displayed the contents of the last droid probes. There were multi-dimensional charts, a rainbow of false color enhancements, and a catalog of objects adrift alternate regions of space. Some of the new officers thought some of the representations looked "pretty." To Captain Yarthkins, however, each pixel on the screen represented danger. So many things could hide in space: Pirates, black marketeers, the Empire... Yarthkins inspected the bridge crew's duty stations. He double-checked that all programs and hardware were running within Royal Naval Corps specifications. He ran his hands along the monitors and keypads, looking for dust. Their stations were in tip-top shape. Considering that they were guarding Naboo, anything less than perfection was unacceptable. Yarthkins made sure his crew knew it, too. He ordered his crew to carry on with their duties. Since the peace treaty had been signed, Naboo had reassigned aspiring ship captains to sensor ships. Captain Yarthkins had been pulled from system patrol duty. He had been spent the last three months helping his crew brush up on their abstract and complex mathematics to interpret the droid data.

"Ready to send out the next set of droid probes, sir... Thrusters and hyperdrive online and spooled up..."

"Set for thirty-second return cycle and launch," Captain Yarthkins ordered.

"Aye, sir," Lieutenant Reteerts acknowledged. "Probes away, sir... Accelerated and making the jump to light speed."

Royal Naval Command didn't really expect anything to attack Naboo. Naboo was a vital diplomatic asset to the Galactic Alliance, and it was currently undergoing talks to secede from it. Pirates couldn't afford to blockade the world without the imminent arrival of Alliance Fleet assets, and it would not suit the Empire to confront the world that was planning on leaving the enemy state. The Naboo Royal Navy was nothing to be afraid of, and so it posed no threat to the enemy state. Yarthkins, at least, could not conceive of a viable reaons for the Empire to trespass in Naboo territory, at the very least. Captain Yarthkins knew, though, that the Empire rarely acted rationally. He wasn't about to let Naboo go unprotected. That would not happen on his watch. Another set of droid probes were returning now.

"Aurek re-entering the Naboo system in three... Two... One... Scanning sectors... Signal acquired at extraction point minus forty-five thousand kilometers..."

"Process the signals and move in for recovery," Captain Yarthkins ordered.

"Aye, sir," Lieutenant Reteerts acknowledged. "Getting a signal lock on... Sir, would you look at this?"

The lieutenant squinted at his monitor. He transferred a stream of his station to a larger screen before Captain Yarthkins. Sensor imagery filled the display. Captain Yarthkins suffered a shiver up his spine. He'd never seen anything like it, but knew what he was reading.

"Confirm that the data is not corrupted," Captain Yarthkins snapped. "I'm estimating that object is a least 15 kilometers in length."

"Affirmative, object is 17,500 meters long... Signal is green... We'll have an orbital reading as soon as Besh probe returns," Lieutenant Reteerts reported.

It was rare for any natural object this large to not appear on any star charts. An occasional comet or asteroid had been logged, but there had never been anything like this.

"By the Queen... We're not waiting for Besh probe," Captain Yarthkins declared. "We're initiating emergency alert. Lieutenant Reteerts, send that sensor scan down to the Royal Palace, and I mean right now. Lieutenant Nilt, remove the safety interlocks on the Pha's engines."

Captain Yarthkins junior officers hesitated for a moment. Then the understood the gravity of the situation. They moved quickly. Lieutenant Reteerts initiated the transmission to Naboo. Yarthkins watched his actions, tense. The lieutenant turned in his seat, his face white.

"Sir, our long range communications are offline for repairs," Lieutenant Reteerts explained.

"Lieutenant, you get down their and get those comms online," Captain Yarthkins replied quickly. "Use the hydrospanner yourself, if you have to. I want comms ASAP."

"Aye, sir!" Lieutenant Reteerts shouted, bolting out of the bridge.

"Safety interlocks red on the board... Besh probe returning sir, in three... Two... One... There, off target by on hundred twenty thousand kilometers," Lieutenant Nilt reported. "The probe droid appears to be malfunctioning. Trying to scrub the signal now..."

"It's too much of a coincidence that the droid is malfunctioning, Nilt," Captain Yarthkins remarked.

"Aye, sir," Lieutenant Nilt agreed. "Besh probe signal on the board. Calculating the planetoid's trajectory..."

The planetoid was gone, which it would be if it had jumped to hyperspace. It would most likely arrive in the Naboo system in less than an hour. Lieutenant Nilt targeted long range scanners to detect the space in-system closest to Eriadu. Probe droid Cresh returned. There was no signal. Lieutenant Nilts scanned for it. Four seconds passed. The probe droid could have missed the drop, but Captain Yarthkins didn't think so. The long-range sensor scans showed two yellow blips at the edge of the system, moving quickly to their position.

"Sensor contact... Contact with two large objects... Sir, silhouettes match known Imperial profiles," Lieutenant Nilt reported. "They're accelerating, on an intercept course for us. Short-range communications are jammed."

"What about long-range?" Captain Yarthkins asked, standing as straight as he could.

"Reteerts has reported that they are still trying to end the diagnostic cycle," Lieutenant Nilt reported. "That will take several minutes."

"Then we don't have a lot of options," Captain Yarthkins observed. "Raise shields. Strap in and brace for maneuverers."

Corruo - Naboo System

Blue swirling space gave way to the inky, starry blackness of space. Six blue orbs appeared on the holo-display before Cidreau. He studied them, searching for the Reborn's IFF indicator. There, already moving in-system, it moved among the three-dimensional view. Cidreau turned to one of the bridge officers on his left.

"Pull up grid 19 by 22 by 14," Cidreau ordered.

"Gladly..."

The holo-display zoomed in one of the orbs. It had four orbits, with one of them marked yellow. Cidreau scowled. You would think after hundreds of years of war, the Naboo would have gotten around to creating a Navy for itself. Then again, Naboo had always been soft and decadent.

"Naboo, Sector Capital of the Chommel Sector, sir..."

"Thermal enhance..."

Cidreau's pulse elevated. Thousands of people would die in this incursion. With that many population centers, the ground would be soaked with blood. Cidreau was about to restart the war.

"Open a channel to the Reborn."

The planetary display abruptly disappeared and his executive officer, Captain Sier appeared before him. Her optical implants glowed bright, even through the holo-display, as she saluted.

"Reborn, you are clear to engage the planetary defenses," Cidreau stated while returning the salute.

"Admiral, we've flagged a Naboo corvette on a predicted approach path toward Naboo," Captain Sier reported.

"Make sure that ship gets to the surface in pieces, Captain," Cidreau ordered. "Corruo will escort the Empress and clear a landing zone."

"Understood, Admiral."

"Corruo will not provide fire support against the Naboo until that corvette is gone," Cidreau persisted. "You're sticking your neck out on this one, Reborn."

"We'll get it done, Admiral," Captain Sier assured Cidreau. "Reborn, out."

Reborn - Command Deck

The Reborn caught up to the Assassin-class corvette about mid-way into the Naboo system. Captain Sier's gaze bored into the ship on the display screens.

"Tell the TIE wing to engage," Captain Sier uttered softly. "Fire all turbolasers."

The Reborn opened fire and a squadron of TIE/fo fighters swarmed out from under the camera view.

"Battlecruiser Reborn in position. TIE wing sound off... Copy, we are currently jamming the corvette's comms," one of Sier's communications officers was saying. "Hit it hard while they can't call for help."

The shields on the corvette failed against the onslaught of the TIE and turbolaser assault. Her engines were now an easy target.

"Heads up, Captain!" Sier reported. "We're detecting multiple ion readings!"

"Miu Squadron, you have bogeys incoming," the communications officer relayed.

Naboo starfighters swarmed out of the inky blackness of space into the battle over the planet Widow and engaged the TIE squadron.

"Where are the reinforcements coming from?" Captain Sier said, growing irritable. "I thought the target was jammed."

"We were most likely detected from one of Naboo's orbits, ma'am," a sensor officer suggested. "Planetary communications have not been knocked out."

"Don't let any of them get away," Captain Sier said, seizing the communication's officer's voice input. "Kill them before they bug out and become a nuisance, later."

Naboo - Theed
Elysia

Grabbing a hold of Kal, she pushed him along with herself, off the roof. As they tumbled down, a short burst from her jetpack made them land safely in the back of an oncoming speeder, albeit in a bit rougher landing than had been planned.
The Mon Calamari driver had but a second to look back in surprise, as Elysia slammed her fist right in his face. The speeder veered off the path, bumping into the side of the building once, before she could grab the controls and keep the vehicle going straight.
As they slowed down significantly, she pushed the Mon Calamari out of the vehicle, straight into a fountain below. She wouldn't just want to kill an innocent bystander and besides, he looked wealthy enough to have his speeder insured.

Looking back however, she quickly caught eye of security forces heading their way. If they hadn't seen her already, they certainly would soon find them like this. As such, she hit the gas full on, causing the speeder to thrust forward through traffic. For just a moment, as they sped off with the security right on their tail, she got distracted and glanced up at the sky. Something felt off, as if trouble was coming.
"I have a bad feeling about this..."

Naboo - Theed

A faint stab of midriff pain woke Kal up. The 'Gungan District' was the next thought that occured to him. It was a hotbed of activity, with underground and mafia groups in close proximity. It was a technological haven. Surely, such proximity had been useful in the past.

His mind cleared up a bit more, and he remembered a deafening explosion. Blaster fire sounded in the back of his mind. His hair was blowing. Was he moving? He could feel the steady thrum of a repulsorlift reverberating beneath him.

Kal opened his eyes. He was moving through an intersection in the passenger seat of a speeder. He eased himself up in the seat. Stomach muscles refused to cooperate, shooting uncontrollable pain through his back. He hissed, softly, grabbing the side of the speeder with his hand.
