What kind of government are we doing? Republic and Empire? Just Republic? Just Empire? Rebel Alliance? Galactic Alliance? Federation? So far as I know and for anyone interested, the actual Galactic 'Federation' Triumvirate was only formed in the last comic issue of the Legacy series, but that doesn't mean we can't use it.

They're the residing Galactic Governments. Like before Order 66 there were multiple Sith Empires, the Republic, the Confederacy of Independent Systems... After Order 66 there was Palpatine's Empire, which later became the Imperial Remnant, and the Rebel Alliance is what took the Empire down and formed the New Republic... Come on, girl. This is common SW knowledge. There is an MMO named after "The Old Republic".

All I'm gonna say on all that is:
1) I have no problem with Tes' idea for the Jedi, but I don't think they should splinter dramatically as the ideologies of the Jedi are difficult to splinter without one group no longer being able to be considered Jedi (as they are about harmony and peace, after all)
2) the time line will not be straying far from our previous RP as we are wanting to leave it open for people to use the same characters and it would defeat the purpose of keeping things simple if we needed to reconcile time travel with our characters
3) I AM BAN HAMMERING ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING THAT HAS ANYTHING TO DO WITH THE CLONE WARS CG SERIES.

I spied on the Test thread. It looks awesome. And we should go with Event Horizon. No more 'Jedi vs Sith'. This is a fresh start.
