My god people. I used to hear all the time. 'Now Mathis, do not bust on diffrent races.' And now we have a member that quit becuase he was upset that everyone was busing on his race!? What is up with that? Wow...So much for morals.
But anyways, Hello everyone. Black Templars are sweet. lol. They are so nice to paint. Nice and easy.

Uhhh...wow, you whine worse than anyone. Tau taking crap? Pleaase. I was an IG player noly for a couple years. You know how much crap I took for it? A LOT. You just need to suck it up and keep moving. Tau are extremely determined. Why are you becoming a short fall of the ideals imposed by your favorite army?

I may play Marines but I also play Tau. I know they have there problems and what a lot of people think about them but like Glynn said just gotta keep moving. It takes it bit more creativity to play army's like the Tau and IG successfully, but that's not a bad thing. To me, I see it as a challenge. As for the ribbing. Personally I didn't think it was really that bad. It kind of seemed to be the normal amount, and it was dished out from both sides equally. I'm all for peace at love but as per the game.... It is the 41st millennia and there is only war. The one thing that dose concern me is when digs about a game are taken to be personal attacks, at that point fantasy has blended with reality and the line of separation has been crossed. Perhaps break from the game is warranted in some cases.
* on new nifty black armor topic *
I find black armor to be quiet interesting and wicked easy. A can of black spray'll do the job in a jiffy. The is just something so sharp about a black armored wave of destruction. 3nodding

I play Raven guard, and your right Honda black armor is great. It's got to be the simplest color scheme out there. I like my imerial fists but I may spray them black and condence them into one army.

Yeah me and redd handed out so much crap to Honda when he first joined, with his slimy, puke filled, bloated sacks of flesh.
Anyways back to talking about Warhammer 40k.
SO what is everyones favorites place to look at art for your army?

I go google hunting for art. That and I have been to every GW international site and got there art.
I have always liked UltraMarines, Blue is my favorite color. But I'd have to say white armies are easy to paint. Krylon fusion spray paint has been my saveing grace since I started.

Ew. ******** Ultramarines. They're way too over-rated and used. Like yo mom! Ohh!
Black Armour with mythril silver liner and glossy varnishy s**t is they way to go. Clean, crips, and oh so kinky. I mean...deadly...yeah.

Yeah I love the background of the Marines. Their power, loyalty, heroics. They are like Knights of old.

Ultramarines are underestimated when in the right hands. I have utterly squashed entire armies whilst losing a single man. On the same hand, I have been utterly destroyed. They can be extemely tough and take the pounding I intend to dish.

I think that goes for any army realy. I have had the same thing happen. I spent an entier game once running my army backwards and all over the table. It was kind of funny, I lost that one but I ownd him in the next game.

To get in a post real quick: First off I am sorry, for I am still having the same internet troubles. The days untill I can get re-active, and in fact more active than before are coming soon.
Also, I would like to say I am ashamed to have called Dryfolius a loyal member at one point, if he has honestly left in such a disrespectful way. Dryfolius with how much smack you talk about the Imperium, and how little of it is actually thrown back at you, you can't be seriously that big of a baby over an argument. Warhammer is full of debating, and just because you don't see it as often as you should on this guild does not mean you have to whine about it and leave everytime someone "lays out the diss" in a counter attack, on your army.
A few points to be re-brought up: Until defended/played Imperial Guard, you really can't complain If you are registered on this guild, and your name is not Hondapunx you really can't complain. If you talk more smack than is givin to you, you really can't complain.
Again sorry people, I'll be back shortly. And Dryfolius, I hope you see this, for I speak the truth. You have been a good member, and a good friend, and I really would have never expected such a low out of you.

Umm yeah about that... I did speak with Dryfolius. Stress is a bit high on his end right now and I don't think he's been feeling well lately. It's not an excuse for the style of hasty exit but it's part of the circumstances that prompted his departure.

Well I hope he decided to come back.
Well on the other end of the warhammer 40k universe me and Redd finally got to play on a team again and ripped the crud out of the dirty orks and those Xenos Eldar.
This was the first introduction of my scouts, I just got them a few days ago and they are worth every point.
We one first turn and they had a handy dandy melta bomb on them. They Infiltrated 18 inches away from an Eldar Wave Serpant. Using their advanced scout special rules they moved 6 inches to get within twelve inches. On their first turn they moved 6 inches then at the end of my other phases I had them assault the wave serpent. They got to stun it and immobilize the vehicle causing the eldar howling banshees to get entangled. That was pretty much a failure though as I thought they should of destroyed the vehicale. But the ELDAR/ORK players turned is when these scouts proved their worth. They got charged by an ork warboss with 5 nob retinue. The warboss failed his power of warghh so he struck then my scouts went then the nobs and the final nob with a power fist. The Warbossed managed only one wound which I saved, then my scouts returned and kill one nob and wounded another, the orks failed to cause anymore wounds.
Next turn of combat that warboss struck killed one scout. In return the scouts killed two more orks by inflicting three wounds with normal weapons and another with a power weapon that went to the warboss. Now it was the Warboss with 2 wounds and one nob left with one wound. Sadly those ten howling banshees joined in to save the warboss and managed to wipe the scouts out by exactly four wounds on the five scouts. One less and my scout sergeant could of killed another enemy. Sadly that was the end of the scouts but they went down valiantly defeating a warboss and immobilizing an Eldar wave serpent. Not only this but it distracted a large portion of the armies with that squad behind their lines.
In general the luck me and redd has was very crappy, I don't even want to talk about the assians incident...and many other crappy moments. But we won and captured the Eldar Gate and two of their farseers.
We will teach those xenos what happens when you attack the Imperium.
