Word. whee Strangely enough I've been feeling super happy and energetic lately. Might have something to do with it? Either that or the fact that spring is not too long away!

Don't say that Beretta, I don't want spring to be here yet, Winter just came back after 3 weeks of 80 degree weather(which was ******** up for this time of year). crying
Happy New Year, though I didn't know that until now. sweatdrop You know this is the only new year that I don't get depressed on, I should start celebrating it. xp
School was great today, and I was able to crash my second art class that I wanted. heart Dead tired from walking all over the campus, but it was a great first day. I need to get the minimum art supplies tomorrow and get the rest this weekend. But everything looks good. Only had a small problem finding the art building but I gave myself enough time for the mistake. lol
Off to bed now. gonk

Yesterday at midnight, we set up a table by the front door and placed food, tea, flowers and candles on it. Then we lit incense and said prayers and wishes for the new year. This year, I couldn't wrap my mind around wishing for any personal achievements... All I truly wanted was that me and the people closest to me would find strength and heal from the wounds we've all suffered this winter.
On Saturday night, Ryan and I laid in each other's arms, me crying over my grandma after realizing this is my first Lunar New Year without her, and him mourning for his sister who passed away last weekend from cancer. I happened to be with him and his mom when they got that awful phone call... I spent all last week in Davis with him to be a shoulder to lean on (which is why I've been neglecting the Paper Brigade game) and this recent Saturday was her funeral.
It's been almost 3 months for my grandma, but it still feels so raw... I still can't bring myself to talk about it IRL without wanting to cry. And Ryan... I can't even fathom what he must be feeling right now. We're sad puppies.

I'd much much prefer spring to start coming back quickly than for winter to stick around.

I'm so sorry for you Aivi, and for Ryan too. I can't imagine the extent of pain Ryan and his family must be feeling right now. sad At least you are there to support him and for he the same for you when possible. My deepest thoughts are with you two. *sends e-hug*
I want winter to last as long as possible at least here in the desert, cause once spring shows up the heat with me back and summer depression isn't too far off from there. emo

I was interviewed for the local news just now when I was getting lunch. I sound like a bumbling idiot talking about the water tax increase I know nothing about. gonk
I know I sound like an idiot most of the time, but I don't bumble. crying God I hope that wasn't like and they find someone better then me to put on the news. gonk

Usually people being interviewed on the news are idiots. Even the experts. Srsly, don't worry about it.
......unless you were being interviewed for the Jay Leno show. Now those people are stupid. blaugh
I've heard about the water tax months ago. I doubt I remember anything about it either (except how we aren't suppose to wash our cars in our drive way midday nor should there be any leaky faucets present). Not sure about the other ones. I'm sure I would have sputtered like an idiot though. haha What did you say about it exactly? You should have said, "Uh...UH....IM JUST GETTING LUNCH NOW BYE!" XD
Grimm: "Sevi"'s cool. ;P

Haha, I can see how Sirius and Sevi sound alike. And nobody ever calls me by my username, so it's totally confusing.
You guys can call me whatever you want... my real name is fine if the username thing is confusing anyone. (I doubt I'll be changing that one anytime soon.)

No,no, I wouldn't dare an interview for that, that's national. gonk
News lady: Hi, how do you feel about paying the new tax that DHS's water district? Me: Ah, I don't do the bills my dad does. But as long as the tax goes towards what it's intended for I'm fine with it. News lady: Well how does your dad feel about paying the new tax? Me: Ah, this is the first time I heard about it. So I don't know because honestly I haven't asked him about it. *laugh* News lady: How do you think the new tax will effect you and your dad, or for everyone else in DHS? Me: I don't think it'll effect us much, but for some people it might be a problem.
That's pretty much the gist of it. Not to the exact context but what I remember being asked. I just glad they didn't stick the camera right in my face or I'd have been a deer in the head lights. emo
XD Sirius and Sevi is nothing. Try Sevi And Sephy not that's confusing. lol
But I'm off to by my art supplies, lets hope I don't buy the store. xp

Psh, you guys used to confuse me and Urby all the time. There's nothing similiar about Aivi/Phoebe or Sirius/Urbane. xD
Haha, Sephy/Sevi does sound like it'd get confusing. Though between Sirius Silverstar, Sevi Reis and sephirothgal, I think the first two look more similar at a glance.

The answer is that we're all a bunch of racist ********.

See, this is why I flunked history. I SUCK WITH NAMES. My memory is in pictures so I'm actually more likely to remember avatar styles and personality traits than screen-names. talk2hand
(like, I totally had you all listed as seperate people in my visual memory, but names. erm. No?)

unethikul As for you and urby, we've been over this. The answer is that we're all a bunch of racist ******** class="clear">
Well, that sort of explains it, but... Why did I never have trouble differentiating between Urbane and Sirius Silverstar, but got their real names totally backasswards? That has nothing to do with them being Asian and everything to do with high school stereotypes. Urby is the model chick and that means exotic. Aivi is an exotic name. Sirius is the artsy fartsy gal with the classical training. Phoebe sounds more like a quiet personality and also sounds like a bit of an old world name to me. So... yeah. Still completely ignorant, but less on the racist side... And thanks for changing your name, Aivi. The only way I ever got it straightened out was when Ryo told be Sirius Sil verstar = Ai vi and Ur bane = Phoe be. Couldn't you have added a v in somewhere? gonk
