Master Nemesis Tenkai Matsumoto Now THAT is something I can understand. That brings things like Arkham Asylum to mind. I guess people didn't think about that at first, since in a lot of cases the answer to dealing with super-powered criminals is to...well...kill them. But I can see a lot of RP opportunities from that. Exactly my point. We have oodles of meta villains running around, and some of them have to go SOMEWHERE. I mean, I can't imagine the majority of Gaians adopting a policy of "Eh, let 'em run amok. We'll just let the 'good' metas beat them up when they get into their ol' shenanigans." *Imagines trying to put Kraun into a prison...* gonk

Really, I think it would be interesting, at the very least, if (for once) some of our characters were called on some of the less-than-legal things they do, and faced the threat of ending up in such a place.
To say nothing of them actually GOING there . . .

That's another thing though. ...where are they? ._. Either I'm seriously out of it or there aren't many power-users out there anymore that are really "villains", and are moreso just lying around doing nothing. On one hand, antagonizing RP characters because they look like villains and have powers becomes pointless and argument-ridden when there's no story. It ends up becoming a witch-hunt without direction. On the other hand, I can think of a few power-users that certainly count as "villains" that I honestly believe don't deserve any acknowledgement whatsoever on the count of them being godmodders. :/ They crave that kind of attention. I always thought JB had the right idea with the RPs he sets up. The only problem is we need -more- of that going on.

Gaia is an anarchy. Anyone trying to claim authority is generally going to get laughed at. Police and whatever else government going after someone will probably just be ignored or told "Get the ******** out of my house/city/country." because, really, they don't have authority to do anything.

I think the main question here is: Is this planned for Gaia/Barton or for LeviStad?

Slifer Ozura Wait for it, I'm working on a villian. A SUPER villian one might say. "Two things never happened again after that. McRapist never walked . . . and Slifer's villain's farts never made a sound."

There is truth in what Fenix says. Without planning, agreement, and a story to follow, ideas like that never work. That kind of stuff can't be thrust onto people.
Then again, if there's rapport, then there's no problem. That's pretty much the difficulty. It's the difference between pretending that you're the character, and realizing you're just another author.

That's why I dropped the idea the first time around when no one showed any real interest. I acknowledge that you can't really make it work without cooperation. And I'm seeing now if that's changed at all.

I'd be up for making a satirical villain to run around upturning waste bins throwing popcorn at people in the movies and stealing teddy bears from small children.

That said, I've always wanted to do a prison break thing with my various characters that would likely end up in jail. Can't see a prison for super villains being more than an diamond-walled box covered in antimagic fields, guarded by an army of this guy

And ya, a Prison Break RP would be bad a**... so much death and destruction it's be AWESOME! X3

Again, Fenix, planning. >>
Some characters would simply just...not be designed for prison. ._.
Can you imagine putting Alpha in a prison? What point would there be to that? Some super-powered threats and other mythical brica-brac are just designed so that they're either succeeding in destroying things or they're killed by whatever hero or adventurer that comes along.
Special prison cases require special villains. As such, making a prison like that seems more like it'd be better off launched in some sort of event.
