1) How exactly do you get stronger?
2) Can you really only learn jutsu in the beginning as an academy student? You can't go back and learn? (going by the handbook, which says just that)
3) What's a good village for a beginner?

1)you get stronger by learning jutsu and increasing your chakra points whcih are the same as just learning techniques
2) only the techniques from the academy you have to learn while in the academy unless someone outside of the academy teaches it to you which there are only like 4 of them I think. the most useful ones are water walking and tree climbing because the others get overshadowed by a lot of the techniques in other villages
3)and a good village to start off in would be any of the villages from the actual naruto series because those clans make the most sense right off the bat

5) How do you rank up? I've noticed that you cap out in power when in certain ranks.

since it's got the most jutsus out of all the villages and has fairly simple ones that can be learned easily..
as well as most of the higher ranked jutsus for the:
- Med Nins
- Hunter Nins
- Jounin Elites
- ANBU
- various other Jounin+ ranked shinobi

If you don't mind me throwing my 10 cents in.
1) You get stronger by Role Playing. Each post you make will count towards your overall chakra. After you have been RPing for a bit, you can tally up the total number of words you have typed and figure out how much chakra you have gained. 1 word = 1 CP (Chakra Point). Each jutsu in each village will have a number by it, that represents how much chakra you must gain to learn that jutsu. So you will have to RP that many words to earn that jutsu. Also, a running total of your CP will be kept on your Profile, and that represents how much chakra your character has. While total chakra points does not determine the outcome of a battle, it is a good measure of power level. And that is how you get stronger. So whether you are RPing by yourself in order to learn certain jutsu, or you are RPing for fun with friends, make sure to count your words and update your character with new jutsu and CP.
2) The whole academy thing just means that you must learn at least one academy level technique in the Academy before you start RPing in the villages. This is to ensure that you do not get into any fights with to little chakra and to make sure that your character has some basic techniques. As far as going back and learning more later, I don't know if there is actually a rule about that, but I believe I have seen people do it before, so it might not be enforced. confused
3) As far as villages go, you can't really go wrong. Look through them until you find a village with a clan that you like and then make a character in that clan.
Right now no new Uchihas are allowed and Hyuugas are questionable, you'd have to check with a mod.

I've noticed that you cap out in power when in certain ranks. 4) We count by words right now 5) There are Exams held every month or two which offer the opportunity to rank up. They are like story line events, so just keep your ears opened.

if I say leaf than there arent as many options, its just as easy to start in say sand village which would let her become a puppet master or mist village which has seeral other clans, all popular from Naruto

So you have to go through an exam for every rank? Even Genin?

well he likes to throw is opinion a lot.. but eh.. he probably spent a little more time typing that but the Mods here are pretty quick to prompt on answers, even if they aren't detailed..
starting in your own village is probably best, I did biggrin got all but the Enkou learned [wth does fire have to do with lightning based.. and don't give me Avatar logic..]
