Sitting on a chair, she pulled a second around so they could sit side by side. Creating her own cup of frozen water from thin air, she motioned for he to join her. "Think of the cup, think of how you feel when you are angry. Focus on the cup, pretend you are angry with it."

Looking at David, she smiled at his comment. The idea of going in to the flame seemed odd, but she understood the desire to be warm. "Perhaps you could visit a volcano? There is a place where it is not too hot to visit but you would be warm unlike any other place."

" Okay." He siad then closed his eyes. He remimbered the day that He was tricked in to going doen in to his father's Lab so he could tirn the boy in to twhat was siting there. THe torcher adn torment that was flowing trew his head at the moment was a forshes amount of energy. The ice melted like a flash of light then the glass start to crack. Shardes of glass shot at the boy's face. " LEAVES ME THE ******** ALONE YOU HELLISH BASTERED ! " He yailed out as the glass shaders in to air showering down on to the boys body. He was in to mouch of a rage to feel the shards brack the skin. Fox's mnind was unstable as it was diging in to shoch things was the fall of this boy. AS the shards stop falling the boy's body was smocking as the vanes in his face glowed with a orange glow as he still sat there.

It was almost too late before she realized he was overdoing it. Instinctively she put a shield around herself to prevent the glass from flying at her, she tried to extend it to Fox, but she was not fast enough. At this point he seemed to have gone in to a blind rage. Sympathy for his pain pulsed through her, she felt like crying, she could feel his emotion it was so strong. She tried to soothe his mind with calming images as she spoke to him. "Fox, you are safe here. I am at your side, there is no one here to harm you. Look at me Fox and know that you are safe." she said firmly, trying to get his attention on to her.

The images she saw, the way he spoke, she knew he was very upset still. Quietly she held him, wanting to comfort him the best she could but she did not truly know how. Resting her head on his, she realized she was the one shaking from the surprise not him. With a deep calming breath, she was able to relax again and focus on her young friend. "Worry not, you are safe in my arms. Let us take a look at you, are you injured?"

she looked over at David, but did not yet speak to him, focusing on Fox. She quickly returned her attention to Fox.

Gazing down upon him, she was surprised that his form changed but did not question it. Gently placing her hand over him, she used magic to remove the shards from his body, then healed the wound. Though she would not normally touch another person in what she felt to be an intimate way, she gently pet him, from head to tail. She looked upon him, taking pride in knowing she helped him to find peace for now. "I would not dream of leaving you on this night."

Scooping him up in her arms, she moved to one of the cushy chairs. Gently seating herself, she was able to rest comfortably with Fox on her lap, holding him with one hand. The feeling of being able to rest for the night with someone, knowing she would not be alone, was very comforting, she began to drift off to sleep almost instantly.

Gabriel looked over at Alice. "Hey beautiful. Going my way?" He asked and grinned. "How you been?"
