A momentary distracted look to Zahara at her screaming...woman was channeling Goddesses again. He'd seen it enough times to know what it was all about, but of course the sound of the splash Jarlaxel made drew his attention back. Wait...lightening and water. What a clever little move by the woman. But he was more than happy at the fact that it seemed to catch Jarlaxel...though then he wasn't so happy anymore.

First a growl at the globes of darkness that were being used and that look of 'hell' at the ever growing fire ball in Jarlaxels' hand. Eyes darted a moment, looking for some form of buffer from that thing, though as it was shot at him, he took the less wanted route, dropping and rolling forward...right into the body of water that Zahara had made. Of course that then lead to him sinking quite a ways, not the most bouyant creature.

And above that water he looked for the inevitable explosion to come, but it didn't only seeing the thing rocket the other way. Sevilin was still a moment in the water, bubbles being the only tell tale sign of him before he flailed a little, somewhat awkwardly making his way back up to the surface. He wasn't a good swimmer by any means, almost couldn't...but he could flail his way back up.

Taking a gasping breath as he broke the surface his hands clenched at the ground, as he was trying to catch his breath, not bothering to pull himself out of the water yet, only leaving himself to redden water with blood, and practically shredded clothing to float on the surface. He hated water.

Though he had come back up just in time to catch Malik's voice and red eyes turned to the Tier'dal. "For you..." Thus he reached for his pole arm, which was barely in reach and yanked it toward himself, hooking it on rocks and pulling himself out of the water to lay prone on Underdark rock, breathing hard. Oh yeah he was going to feel all of that. "What did he do with her?" Well he couldn't be ungrateful...she had helped after all.

They had goten back just at the little drow spat had ended...the little addition of the somewhat lake being the only realy sign of anythign going on. And Kieran was rather oblivious to that al at the moment as he helped Catawa get Din down. "In other words, he's not doing what he's supposed to be doing." Said as he was pulling off his mask.

Picking Malvolence back up, caresing over the blade to see if any damage had been done..before his thoughts drifted to finding Zahara.

"She's in the Oracles room, with a realtively happy..though a bit..distant Oracle."

A glance over at Sevilin, and offering his hand to help the drow up.

"She must care for you more than she'll admit. she nearly killed herself trying to help you...foolish woman trying to channel that much power through her body at once. not to mention Jaraxle probably could have butchered her at will...what with you not caring about her."

Okay he was prodding a bit, but why not.

"And you need medical assistance. I can smell your blood enough standing over you and you turned that water such a nice shade of red."

Then a look over to Kieran.

"And you. Piper wants to see you."

Catawa nodded. "Yeah. You see his skin? Din's not a drow, obviously. I can only think that they rubbed soemtihng into his skin, to cover it, and make it impossible for him to transfer to anybody." She sighed. "It's almost killed him I'm sure. Din's like a frog. He takes in nutrietns and oxygen through his skin."

Did Onyx shatter the field, or did Omega let it go? Oh well, she wouldn't tell you anyway. At this point, she looked much ike Aella did the first time Onyx met here. Notihng but a shear silk shall covering her.

He coughed some, getting some blood and water out of his system. That little bout of healing from Zahara hadn't been able to do too much and he had been beaten in his chain mail and the rest of his armor practically ruined as well as his clothes. Internal injuries from the beating were quite painful. A look to Malik at the offered hand and Sevilin took it without fight, letting Malik help him to his feet where he used his pole arm to hold himself up.

"I only asked for her help...not for her sacrifices and godly aids." Which to him, though it didn't make any sense why she would do such a thing, but it was greatly appreciated. The little lake ploy had been quite the scheme. "His only quary is with me...his own pride being his drive." Another cough, spitting out some blood. Needing medical assistance was an understatment on Malik's part. "Yes...I am quite needing it...aren't I?"

His attention breifly turned to Malik, a weary glance at Sevilin who had obviously been through some sort of hell and was dripping wet, looking torn to shreds to boot. "Piper will have her time with me in a moment." After all, Piper was fine, Din wasn't so much. Attention back to Catawa. "So then, it needs to come off then? Whatever they rubbed into his skin? Or neuralized?"
PostPosted: Mon May 29, 2006 5:44 pm

Onyx's eyes were solid red, and his fangs bared and claws ready. only hesitant a moment. that did look far to familiar for a second before bestial savagery took control again. but rather than go forward, he went up. up to teh cieling, feet claws leaving marks and head down in a slight arc to tackle her to the ground.

A glance at Din, and back to Catawa. they'd gone back for him? odd. but a shrug.

"Take him inside. have someone bring a cleric and a necromancer. if a cleric can dispell it, see if the necromancer can get it to decay off. that goes for you too, Sevilin. get inside and get taken care of. Tremor and Broog can repair your armor if it's needed."

Before a message to Piper.

well..looks like Sevilin has attracted Jaraxle's attention...but daddy's home. and they have din. he needs so help if you can offer it. and how was your chat with the Oracle?

"Pride is always a good driving force. Let me guess. you showed him up or you did something better than him and he didn't care for it much?"

Catawa lifted Din up once again, taking him inside. "It's much simpler actually. We just need to get a little bit off and touch him. He'll be able to travel through us and reform, but whatever is on him won't." She dragged him upstairs, called whoever needed to be called. "But I tihnk it will be even simpler than that little bit of simplicity." She picked a room and flopped her friend down on a bed. She opened his mouth and stuck digit on the inside of his cheek. Almost imidiatly, Din was gone. Catawa shivered almost violently, before her freind seemed to reform again on the otherside of the bed. A black, sooty chalk was left where he had once been.

Omega smiled crookedly as she was tackled ot the ground, digging nails and teeth into what flesh she could reach. Could she have thrown him off? Ah well, she wouldn't tell you that.

Kieran had merely taken to helping Catawa with Din, getting him upstairs and what not, only watching as Catawa rather simply took to curing Din's affliction. Knowledge sponge Kieran had that look again, but now was not the time for questions. "That's a rather...unique trick..." Oh yes he'd be writing about that later.

"Apparently so...and the Princling Kimmuriel is apparenly jealous of me as well..." Oh why not throw that out there two...all kinds of drow up rooting his peace. He gave a nod to Malik, about the only time he would listen to the drow without sneer or snide comment. Though he did manage to find his broken dagger nearby, picking up the pieces as he more or less dragged himself inside, sloshing water on the flooring as he entered the fortress. A look down at a chitter and weight on his boot. Nym was sitting there, red eyes blinking up at him. "No, not so well." He was lucky he had energy to walk.

She looked up from her notebook once more as Malik's voiced boucned between her ears. "Just what we need, another attraction of company that is questionable...can I break his cheek bones now?" And that book was put back in the closet under wraps where it belonged and she stepped from her room, taking to seeking out Kieran. Wasn't hard to find him. "Have things under control?"

"Yes ineed we do Pip...no worries." Giving her a smile that masked all of his own discomforts.

"Hm...that's well." She'd let him think he was nice and well with his lie. Though her attention had been brought elsewhere by Keely who had informed her that Zahara as well had gotten caught in the mix and somehow ended up in Meilikki's room, but had been taken to her own room. Drow was pretty worn out too. Piper sighed...it never really did end. "And you get back inside." Because if he knew those things then he was outside...

Onyx's claws bit deeper than her nails, and his teeth were alot sharper than hers. By the time that they might have been done..which was a lot longer than most humans could manage... the floor would have blood splattered all over it, and her body woudl be covered with clawed gashes and bloody bitemarks. though his injuries wouldn't be as visible..but probably near as numerous. Though Onyx's claws were still out, and he was probably more than ready to cause her more bloody marks.

Malik walked Sevilin in, and only chuckled.

"Boy you do impress, don't you."

But yes, he came inside, as per Piper's instructions, and the Necromancer and Cleric came forward..the necromancer already takign sampled of that dust that had been on Din's body...the Cleric looking to Kieran and to Sevilin's injuries...and to Piper as well with a glance to Malik's arm, and back to his eyes. to which Malik gave a nod. she'd suffered with that long enough.

"Piper, take of your bandages. I'm tired of seeing that, and I'm sure you want your collar back on. just let the cleric do her job.

Catawa used a pillowcase to cover her pw as she patted at Din's forehead. "He'll probalby wake soon enough." She would stay there with the healers to make sure everything was all right, after all, an old freind was not sometihng she had expected to see.

Omega let things roll for a long time before she took any action. To Onyx, it would feel like nothing more than another scratch. What did she really do? Jab a needle she had hidden earlier into his spine, right into his seventh virtibrea. As well as doing some other nasty things, the serum inside knocked him out cold. She waved a hand, saying some intricute words, and suddenly they were in an alley in Honoursefield. Omega was fully dressed, Onyx was left bleeding and unconcious. She walked out, blowing a kiss as she left.

Kieran nodded, only standing in that vigilant way nearby for a few moments. Though the cleric that wanted to look at him was more or less given a polite 'no thank you', after all he wasn't supposed to be that hurt. "Well then, if you will excuse me Catawa...I have something to take care of." Like poison.

Thus he made his way to his own room, pulling Raziel from his pocket and set him on the bed before going to his own pack and digging through it, pulling out that bag of tear drop shaped crystals, popping one like a pill, of course not swallowing. Another plus about them, they worked as a neutalizing agent.

Sevilin gave a little bit of a narrowing of eyes at Malik's chuckle as he more or less dripped and bled on Malik's floor has he pulled his own tattered tunic off, and horribly mangled chainmail followed...yeah no wonder it was hurting so much. "I try not to since coming here...though seems that is not going as planned."

Damned attention. Though he did let that cleric have a look at him...but not too much. After all, Sevilin hated to be touched...probably more than water. Hm...how many ribs did he have intact?

Amid wandering thoughts he mind came back to Malik calling her name, and then putting for one of those commands on his. A look to the collar that she had looped on her arm then back to him. A little bit of thought...well what had it been? Three or four days now? Yeah that was good enough for her. Reaching her hands up she removed the bandaging around her neck. Of course the injury looked so much better, she hadn't paid much mind to it over the last day and a half. Her and Zahara may be at odd ends, but she was a damn good healer. But she'd let Malik have his way and have his own finish up the job. After all, looked like he had had some quick fire healing as well.

Onyx was not happy when he woke. not happy at all. Tricked! decieved..and he felt..well...not in a lot of pain, but not exactly happy or well. sniff..where were we..honoursfield. Might as well see the brother while he was here. but one advantage. he knew Omega's scent, not only of flesh, but blood. and he coudl and would find her again. It woudl be a fun hunt for a prey that liked to be hurt. But stumbling into the doorway of his twins little practice.

"Moonstone..is the doctor in?"

Hey..those legs weren't working like they were supposed to..and flop, right on the floor with his wings splayed out.

Malik took the chainmail, and handed it off to a slave.

"Take that to Broog and Tremor. I want it repaired to pristine status before tomorrow morning. and bring Broog up here."

Which got a nod and that slave left. the cleric managing sevilin shook her head lightly.

"Six broken ribs, one cracked shoulder, three broken fingers, several gashes of varying degree, tons of lascerations. we can do this two ways. a complete magical heal, which will require a bit of trust on your part, or we can set bones and patch you up and let this heal naturally for awhile if you so wish. unless your runing has a faster and more convient method?"

The other, Piper's dedicated one..warily moved to touch her neck, barely touching skin, and leaned back enough to hopefully avoid being slapped, kicked at, backhanded or the like..the mutter a short incantation to finish the healing job on her neck.

The Wizen Watch Tower sat eagerly before the drow Prince, just waiting for him to come and sack it again. Oh, how the Prince enjoyed sacking things, it added flavour to his usually boring life. Boring, because some people just did not like to play.

He smiled as he approached the now magicially reduced to nothing defences, and the almost saddly destroyed pitiful guards that the drow did not even bother to identify before approaching. He did not personally have anything to do with the killing of these minions, he was feeling a bit tired, killing orcs non-stop for a few weeks can do that to a person.

Oh, he would have to watch himself though, he brough a little additional firepower with him this time, firepower that required a moral approach to things. Nothing helps appearance better than an enemy who used undead. What kind of nice person reserrected the dead and used them as guards? OH, the evil was rampent in this area now that a certian mage had settled here.

Revenge would be sweet, yet using a Paladin of Helm somehow made things taste even sweeter.

Within a few moments, the drow and the halfling had worked their way up to the middle floor, slicing their way though many abonimantion and several strange things that Taratheil did not want to waste time investigating. The place seemed less abundant wiht magical wears this time through, probably because there was a shortage of mages in this end of the dark.

Outside of the keep, the few wizards that Tarathiel loved best continued to ruin the magical defenses, and occasionally fired a missile or two into the building itself. They were not expecting to find anything interesting, so they were being a bit careless.

The orcish army drove forward to the beat of prmitive drums, their feet stomping so insync that they sound reverbrated for miles, announcing their arrival long before they reached their destrination. Koboldsa nad lesser goblins led the way with either crude weapons or their own fang and claw. Ahead of them, the Shamans cast spells that nulled the use of Necromany, ensureing that their own dead would not be able to rise against them, and neither would the enemy be able to maintane it's own ranks by not allowing their dead to die.

Other things followed the army, the promis of spoils ahead much to great to give up. Harpies flew in the sky, foreboding and deadly. Large giants, mostly frost, followed in behind, lardge boulders perched on their shoulders. Other nasty animals as well.

Underneath, the distinct rumble of something tearing through the earth was felt if not heard easily enough. They traveled swiflty, crossing the land and closing the gap between them and the Triumverte fortress with surprising speed.

Meilikki put a hand to her head. "We were a little off."

Hm, he'd have to make a trip home...or send Nym. A look down to the ferret that was perched on his boot and more or less clinging to his shin at this point, all worried, fur puffy and what not. A look back to the cleric with a smirk. "Sounds about right." Frankly he was surprised he was standing, but chocked that up to adrenaline and him leaning on his weapon mostly.

Though that slightly narrowing of eyes, fact was he more or less couldn't use his runes right now and would probably only further his damage if he did. "Go on with your magical means...after all if you intend to betray and kill me, I'll make sure to snap your neck before I die." Yeah that was good enough of a threat to keep things straight.

Okay Piper did think it was kind of funny how they all knew her express dislike of being touched by people other than those that were horribly close to her. They tried their hardest to avoid it. Though she would admit it was quite a relief to know she could put her collar back on and the moment she could she did. Pulling it off her arm and for the second time, without untrusting thought to the device, slipped it on her neck, latching it. An almost relieved smile and sigh from her. "That feels so much better..." Though her ears twitched...ugh that sound again. Wolves. Blood.
