"Oh spare me your woes about you 'living in the arms of Lloth's chaos. Just because you are not able to escape her does not mean a thing. Me in the way...such a humorous concept. Not a naive merely not under the boot." He let Jarlaxel slash as he may, take what hits he may. Him and his cracked ideals...coming from one who thought gods were the be all and end all...gods were foolish. He didn't like being toyed with though.

"For me? How great an honor." But a smile to Meilikki as she pulled back, adn once again she tucked some of Meilikki's hair behind her ear again. "Leaving so soon Meilikki? Seems like I never do anything by cross paths with you before you're gone. Back to Tarathiel then?" Trying her hardest to not be pissy about the name.

She chuckled "You don't need to hide your distaste, Piper. I know yo don't like him." She smiled. "Soon, yes but it's neccessary. Besides, it keeps you special." Another little laugh. "But no, the new king if Honoursfield as offered me a place to stay. He wish to rekindle old alliances, and I am enclined to help. I see good things for his cities future."

"He just rubs me the wrong way I'm afraid." A sheepish little look, despite it going unnoticed. "Keeps me special? I don't know about that...being special means a spotlight often enough." A little tilt of her head at Meilikki. "Honoursfield? Does that mean I get to come see you whenever I want then?"

"Its really funny how you can't figure out why you must die. That makes you a naive."

Jarlaxle yawned while his arms continued to flail, "I like killing people, especially when there are stronger than me. That certainly shrinks the number of people I feel like killing down to... you."

Jarlaxle shrank the distance between the two fighters to such a small space that the elves could hear each other's heart beats above the wail of the blades and the somewhat resisting armour. "Call me what you will, I'll stalk your shadow until you are good and dead, and inside my next sword."

Zahara was shocked, he had not only deflected Divine Favour but Sword of Eilistraee and Searing Beam. What was she going to do now? The bastad had to use runes. She knew from experience that there wasn't much you could do to counter runes, unless you were a rune mage yourself. She called on one last spell from Eili and with the last of the energy she was still channelling cured Sevilin. It wouldn't cure all his wounds but enough of them to allow him to fight. "Sevilin! You have to fight. Dammit, I've lost. I can't fight him, he deflects everything I throw at him! You've got to fight him! Now! Or we're both going to die. Come on Sev, use your runes for Eili's sake! That's what they are yours for. Stop being a stubborn man and just kick his a**. I don't care about your sense of loyalty or honor or whatever else other idea you've got rolling around in that brain of yours. Get over it and FIGHT!" She sighed and shook her head, "SEvilin, if you don't fight, he's going to defeat you and use you. H's going to put you under his boot and use your runes, not allow you to have any control whatsoever. Do you want to be used again? And by a male no less? You refuse to be under a female's boot, I suppose a male is different though."

"Like Malik rubbed everyne the wrong way on the plane that you met him." She chuckled, "It's not up to me whether you like him or not, and your not required to. So, it makes no difference." She smiled, this one more happy than comforting. "Yes, dear At anytime. I'll be much more accessable to you."

Malik snatched up the blade, felt his strength increase, could feel his necromancers doing thier work, hear the thoughts of his servants as they did thier duty..felt a very pissed off Zahara and an annoyed or angry Sevilin. and a third party. interesting.

But he was in no position to be going of fighting trying to use a weak arm with that sword. But he knew he had comapny now, didn't he. Let Sevilin earn his pay a bit. and Zahara as well.

Onyx noted that and laid his clawed hands on Omega.

"So she's mine?"

"Right...that sounds just about right indeed." A little shake of her head at that. Hm, she never thought about that. But another nod. "I understand, just like I should be accepting that not everyone is going to like Malik, despite how I may like them too." But onto another subject and a smile. "That's wonderful...I'll have to make sure I make regular visits then. Besides, you and I have work to do." A hug to the Oracle who was more friend than fortune teller. A slight twitch though as she felt Malik grab that blade and it spike in her own side of thier connection.

Kieran waved a hand. "I don't care what happens to her...but have her put my daughter in danger and that will be a grave mistake for you wantign to keep her and that retribution will fall unto you Onyx." A defensive Kieran was not a happy elf.

"I guess I should be honored then...younger than you and able out move and out power you." Was that a taunt? Of course it was...Sevilin was quite being pushed and you could only push a drow but so far. Inside his sword...wait a moment. Though his attention wavered at the familiar feeling healing methods and ears picked up Zahara's voice among the breaking links of chainmail, and the breaking of bones. She was basically backing up what Jaraxel had said...threw more bite into her prodding.

And despite how much cool Sevilin liked to keep, he was quickly loosing it with the realization. No one...and he did mean no one, male, female, adult, child, elf or anything else. No one and no thing. He gritted his teeth and then swiped his arm and blipped from Jarlaxle's path, popping in next to Zahara and grabbing her around the waist, blipping back out once more and reappearing a good fifty feet away, pole arm in hand with a practical snarl, holding his pole arm in one hand. "You're mistaken if you think I'll let you use me." And his red eyes turned to Zahara. "I'm going to need your help." There he admitted it.

She knew how her words would affect him but she had to force him to fight. She knew he didn't want to fight, for whatever reason, she'd seen him almost get hacked to pieces a moment ago. But now he was being forced to, they were backed into a corner and something had to give. Suddenly she felt his arm around her waist and before she could utter a word in anger or complaint she was moved. Reappearing out of the line of fire she blinked at him. "Alright, what can I do?" She wasn't going to gloat over this, she was too damn tired, the strain of channeling Goddess energy wearing her out. She'd used four high level spells and gotten almost nowhere, essentially it had been a waste of time. Sev didn't look much better either. They were both tired, worn out and not going to be able to hold out much longer. But she knew she was a powerful mage and her instinct said Sev was too. There had to be some solution here.

An eye kept on Jarlaxle but talked fast, not wasting he precious seconds. "His swords, their names. I won't chance my runes with them and waist my energy. Simple magery is thus the plan, he's far too hard to get close in on. Disrupte his footing, obscure his line of sight, try to keep him contained, play off spells with me, we're both drow we've got to know common spells, no matter how different the name."

About five seconds of quick talking before he lifted a hand to her quickly scribing a rune on her to give her the needed energy boost to execute the plan. After all she was using priestess envoking spells, that had to be draining. And then he split from her, more or less playing bait as he was anyway. Though already not at the top of his game, broken armor and what not cutting at him and internal injuries working to bring him down as well

She listened, absorbing what he was saying relatively easy. That didn't sound too hard. She didn't even have the energy to argue anymore so she just let him rune her to her heart's content and she nodded. "Alright, let's do this. He needs to be brought down a notch and we're just the ones to do it." Serious fast talking. She slipped away from him, easily using earth bound magic to cause the earth to shake and shudder beneath their feet, elevating herself to keep it from affecting her. Anyone else, was going down, so Sevilin better hurry up and get above or he was going down too. She floated above the ground, watching as it shook and split beneath his feet but she could only hold it for so long. Eventually she had to switch, choosing instead to use that poisonous cloud she'd used against his little 'friends' last time. With the effects of the earthquake she'd created still in place, he wouldnt' have been able to grab his footing back if he was even back on his feet, plus the cloud. That should mess with his vision. The poison would sting his eyes, ruining his aim and making it extremely hard to use any attacks of his own. Too bad she didn't have the little mirror thingie that Kieran had used, that would have come in rather handy. Still floating above his head, she decided to throw in one more basic mage move, fireballs. Concentrating, and thanks to the boost from the rune, a rather large one was formed in between her hands and flung at Jarlaxle, immediately after the cloud enveloped him, so that he couldn't blip out and disappear before it came hurtling at him.

Onyx got a grin that almost would have been considered truly evil, fanged and feral. A movement around Omega, like a cat stalking prey, even moreso by a crouched position, wings flared a bit.

"Oh she'll be kept away from your daughter. she'll be kept in my Den..and it's all by itself, out in the wild, away from all settlements. It'll just be me and her."

By Innoruuk's cauldron. they were magic a magical flare...wnough might as well put a huge sign out that says 'magic users are here'. But, he had an idea he hoped, woudl work, and he was already fashioning it. mental commands to necromancers and clerics. make him statues, small ones that coudl be buried deep in the earth, but still do thier job. bless them in the names of Innoruuk, Sarymn...oh and what the hell, Erollisi. let them become his knew shields. one born of pain and torment, one born of hatred, and one born of love. the emotional presences of those woudl strengthen them. blend the three, to create a constantly shifting emotional barricade. wait, add one more. Cazic Thule. lets add Fear to that mix. Might take awhile though to get that entirely set up.

Then, lets contact Tanundra. so much easier to talk to him when he had that blade. next, he wanted to create seconadry shielding in the name of the earth mother. His home may blaze up on the magical radar like Kimmuriel's former home, but that place was also well protected from most anything.

Omega watched Onyx, lifting an eyebrow. "And just what makes you tihnk you're taking me home?" She flipped her hair again, smiling. Kieran comming towards her didn't seem to bother, nor the circling winged cat, or the mutant off to the side. She bit her lip, showing pearl white teeth. "And what do you think you're going to do to a daughter of a demi god.? She laughed behind a hand. "Like, really. You've heard ot Dim the Possesor, haven't you?"

Meilikki hugged back, her smile sincere now. "I would very much enjoy that. I get so few visitors that are there for me, and not my gifts." Here milky eyes sparkled, still wet with tears. "And yes. Work. Once again it is postoned. That's alright though, I knew we wouldn't get started on that for some time."
