*Kouryou did his best to keep up, resolutely staring ahead as they walked and glancing to Feo once in a while, looking around and brushing a strand of his own hair out of hisface. he didnt comment on the closeness of the castle, simply shaking his head slightly*

(( gonk James is starting to scare me. *holds cruficix made out of sporks between James and Artemis* The power of the Spork compells you! ))

"Any in my size?" *Kouryou smiled a little as he saw William returning in a guards outfit, tilting his head and raising an eyebrow* "You'd make a passable guard."

Lethe followed Will back outside, also dressed like a guard now. She sighed. "These guard clothes are heavy....." she said as she clanked up to Will and Kouryou.

Reyson followed her outside, also dressed as a guard. "Oh come one Lethe....it's not that bad...." he said as he too caught up to Will and Kouryou.

Ranulf skipped off after Sunny, Rai, and the kids. "I guess I'm staying here to help with the kiddies!" he said excitedly. He bend down to Sirvat and Ruki and smiled widely at them. "HELLO KIDDIES!!!"

Janaff was now squirming very much as he was handed off to his old master. He began whimpering some and whispering Ai's name.

Greil smirked. "Awww, seems he's met someone special...he keeps muttering a name...heh." he sneered.

Naesala flexed his wrists, causing his nails to grow into talons as he approached the runaway mix. "Ready to serve your punishment?" he hissed.

Petrine stood in the doorway for a moment before turning to Kaida. "Shall we leave them now? Or should we watch..." she asked slowly.

Nailah still sat in the bushes watching the castle carefully. Her ear twitched some as she sensed different movements around the area. "I sense that some others might be coming.....but I can't tell if they're good, or bad....." she said very slowly.

Volug blinked. "Sometimes I don't understand your weird senses....I don't notice anything...." he added as he watched the castle as well.

Nailah sighed. "That's 'cause your too dense...." she said, stiffling a laugh.

Volug rolled his eyes.

William shook his head. "Shark bait? Aren't you the one who always goes all red eyed and kills everyone anyway? More like your a praying mantis.... Looking all cute and innocent before WACK dead." William sighed as they got up close to the doors. "Remember what sunny said... We don't act unless they're harming you guys... We need to do a little bit of spying to find out why they need the desendents besides for their enjoyment."

Fay nodded. "I could get us tot he castle if we needed to go... but maybe it will be better if we get Sunny to go with us... She's more experienced at fighting the humans too, she might have some tips... Pluss she is a dog... Noses don't come much better then that... It'll be ok Ai you'll see... Maybe Sunny will even come with us now if we ask her."

Sunny laughed and shook her head. "I'll meet up with you guys outside the castle. There's no way I'm letting you have all the fun! I want to go all ninja on those no good humans... This war has gone on long enough."

Ace listens to Alaster's humming and she smiles. "I think our guest of Honor is here." she says looking out a window that let her see the front of the castle.

Sirvat blinked some. "Hello Kitty... Oooo Your hair is blue! Is it natrually that way or do you dye it?" She asks tilting her head.

Kaida winced suddenly and her hand went to her throat. "Mistress... ace... Is... calling." She murmurs. The collar around her throat felt like fire as Ace murmured the magic that allowed her to summon Kaida. "She... Must... have... a Desendent." She coughts and shakes her head, turning to walk to the one summoning her.

Artemis shook her head. "A bunch of Sherlocks you lot are.... OW!" She yelped as Arthur grabbed her burned arms... they were red and swollen, and boils were broken out over most of them. "Please... I don't know anything... All i want is my children safe... They have enough of a cross to bear with out loosing me... They are the children of two races... The desendents of both races please... I don't know what the book is... Please... Just let me have a few minutes peace.... Please..."

Raph blinked and looked at Zach.
Zach nodded that it was the truth that the wolf spoke.
Raph's eyes seemed confused and he shook his head. Our lord... Is... her lover? She's the key to finding our king? And... Arthur and I are letting her be... Put to turture.... How can our lord love a Animal? The desendent of animals? its just... doesn't make sense. But then again... Maybe it does... Maybe it explains why he's stayed alive thus long...

Arthur growled and flipped Artemis on her back and knelled on her shoulders, putting pressure on her mutilated back. "Stop lying b***h." He slammed his fist into her jaw and Artemis winced. When his arm came down again she began to see stars, her head spinning in pain, she didn't know where she was for a moment. She couldn't keep her eyes open, her vision was blurred.

James shook his head. "Arthur.. Remember she needs to be Alive..."

William nodded. "Ok Feo... take no Offense to this..." He took out a peice of rope and grabbed his wrists. "Can't have you waltzing up looking all comfy with the guards can we? What'd you do pay us off with the sex?" He winked and did a strange sort of knot. "To get out of it, all you got to do is take the end here, hold it above your head and pull down with your teeth easy... That way your hands can get free if you need them. Remember you hate us, we're guards... Got it?" He patted his shoulder and shoved him forward. "Move it dirt bag!" William yelled as they got to the castle doors with guards on either side. "I found this bloke asking where the castle was... Said he was invited by the good Lord and Lady... Can't trust these Mixes though."

the other guards nodded and opened the door for them.

Ace stood. "Lets go Alaster..." She turned to see Kaida. "Go fetch James and the other desendent from the dungeons Kaida, Meet us in the great Hall... ON the double!"

Kaida nodded and dissapeared to the dungeon. "Mistress Ace needs the desendent brought to the great hall."

Ace smiled and started for the great hall, A collar in hand.

Fay blinked "Kyo... Are you ready to go ask sunny?"

James looked to Kaida and smiled. "We'll continue this later."

Arthur growled. "You lying little whore... You can't be his lover... Its your fault this whole thing started. He got up off of her, and pulled her by her hair up and dropped her. "Raph get her other arm."

Artemis winced and shook her head, then regretted it... She was dizzy and her head hurt. Most likely she had a concussion by now.

Raph blinked and looked down at her as he came out of his daze. He grabbed under her arm so not to touch the burns.

Arthur didn't seem to notice and grabbed her on the burn anyway, following james up the winding stairs, bouncing Artemis' knees on the steps.

"Arthur... You think we ought to lift her up till we're up the stairs? She's likely to break her knee caps if they slam all the way up." Raph murmurs.

Zach nods "Good point Raph..."

"NO... " Arthur snapped in unison with james. "She deserves it for lying down there."

Raph blinked and frowned and Looked down to Artemis... He'd never wanted to disobey his brother before now... But he figured he was right, his brother usually was right... It still felt wrong through.

Artemis groaned. Ow... My head... Its pounding... I can't even concentrate enough to understand what their saying... Forget what their saying it hurts to think! Not to mention my knees... but my head pounding is more...ergent at the moment... I'm useless... Unneeded, un wanted... If i died right here would anyone notice? would any body care? Is it worth living on if i'm only gonna cause pain to those i care about?

Aysel blinked at the strange little gathering. "Well this is interesting.'

Ace walked into the Hall as Feo was pushed in by William. "So you found this one asking for us?"

William blinked. "Yes milady... How did you..?"

"I'm always listening." She smiles. "Good job bringing him in... Kindly put this around his neck." She tossed the collar to William... A collar with a nice loud bell.

Will cought it and stared at it a moment.

Lethe and Reyson also well disquised followed right behind Kouryou, hands on their weapons in case their 'prisoner' tried to do anything stupid.

Petrine smirked as Kaida left before looking at Greil once more. "Do as you please...I'll be leaving you now." she said before turning, and striding off down the hall towards where she knew the other descendent was being brought in.

Janaff now had tears in his eyes and was looking up at Naesala with a pleading look on his face. "W-why would you hurt another mix like yourself?" he whimpered softly.

Naesala only growled and sharpened the talons now extending from his fingertips. "Turn around." he snarled as Greil grabbed the sobbing bird-mix and turned him so his back was facing Naesala. Naesala grabbed the shirt binding Jan's wings and ripped it off, exposing the bird-boy's bare back and golden brown wings. He then started ripping his talons through the wings, destroying the muscles and tendons. "You won't be flying for a long time now boy." he hissed.

Janaff screamed in pain....

Ranulf smiled and ruffled Sirvat's head. "Why yes, my hair is blue...that's how I was born....I'm not quite sure why though!" he said with a grin.

Nailah was now staring intently at the castle as she saw Feo being escorted into the castle by several 'guards'. She gasped and yanked Volug beside her and pointed to the castle. "I've never met him before....but that looks like our descendant..." she whispered in Volug's ear.

Volug's eyes widened. "Do you think so? If it is...it looks like he's in trouble."

Nailah let out a big sigh. "Yes I'm alomst positive that it is...and no kidding he's in trouble..." she said, rolling her eyes at her brother.

The door of the castle swong closed behind Lethe, reyson, kouryou, Feo, and william.
Will looked at the collar and raised an eyebrow at the hissing and words under feo's breath. He then smirked. "Heres a Nice jingly bell Kitty..." He said to Ace before turning to look at him and put the collar on. "Oh I have no death wish from Artemis." He mouthed, however as he turned he felt bad for saying it.

James had appeared, Raph and Arthur toweing Artemis with Zach following. Raph and Arthur dropped Artemis in the hall between Ace and Feo. Arthur dropping more then Raph, who just set her down.
Zach blinked up at the desendent and waited. Was this one the one they'd been waiting for?
Raph didn't have the stomach to look Feo in the face after what he'd found out from Artemis. He felt horrible, he was supposed to defenend the desendent not harm him.
Arthur had no trouble however, he just smirked.

Artemis lay still on the floor, flat on her stomach. She didn't move aside from breathing. Infact it was hard to tell if she was alive or not. The blood on her back had soaked her white shirt through. The shirt was torn in the back to show the broken skin that was starting to clott and stop bleeding. The big red cut on her forehead along with the bruise looked nasty as well, not to mention her arms. She not giving much of a fight or momvement was disturbing as well. Ow... I don't even want to think about moving. I just want rest...
All this made William's stomach turn, although he hid it. The once proud desendent laid so still he wondered what they had done, but then didn't want to imagine it.
Ace smiled. "Good job james... You broke her... She better still be alive though, we need her to find the book... Now kitty..." She turned her attention to Feo. "Your going to help us find the book of your ansesters, or she won't be breathing for much longer.... And neither will you... Alaster wants your head mounted over the fireplace..." She walked over to Artemis and nudged her with her foot.
Artemis whined slightly and she picked her head up. Her eyes opened ever so slightly, before her head sank back to the ground.
(dude... we should so do like a musical day, like a day in the lives of the open where they can't stop singing)

Sirvat blinked. "Um... Ruki I don't think it works that way."

Sunny blinked and turned to Kyo, Ai and Fay. "Help with what?"
"We have to get to Jan... Will you please come with us?" Fay pleeded.
"Well... Adam will you be ok with the kids?" Sunny asks.

That's how he felt. A look of pure horror etched it way onto his face as he gazed over at his Love's destroyed body. He could feel himself shaking as he tried to utter her name, yet it only came out as a whisper. "Artemis" He was in a nightmare, that had to be it. For never should his angel, the love of his life be throw into such a hell and still be living through it.
Yet just as his fear and anguish began to show, so did his anger. Those glassy blue eyes turned to the deepest shades of red. Claws made their appearance as he reached up to rip the collar from his neck. "You filthy b***h." He hissed as he pulled out of his ropes. He looked over at the four that stood at Artemis's side. "And you... how could you? What kind of slime are you? Have you no Loyalty? Human pets? Scum!"

Alaster walked around the corner to see the sight of the fuming mix breed. "Well well well.. Welcome back my pet"

Kai grinned and waved him off..."Ne no lil temper tantrums ya?"
Rai crossed his arms and glared at the other "I don't know what your talking about"
"orgasm?"
"WHAT?!"
"I don't know,,, just felt like the right thing to say..."
"Little kids are here jackass!"
"Language?"

Ruki blinked "what does that mean?" He used one of the blue kitty's hairs as a mustash.

Kyo sighed.."whatever we do we have to hurry who knows how much time he has left"

Adam nodded as he patted Ruki on the head."I'll take care of them.. just bring back our other friend ya?"
