"Typical of a Koada'dal. Always thinking your the greatest gift to the world. Tunarians claim to be the first born of the elven races, Corellon..they seem to be more of a we're the chosen one type attitude. none of them are usually so proud when they have to face a Tier'dal on any field."
A slight smirk, he knew that comment about bonds. like any elf, even Tier'dal found a lot more in the word 'bond' then most might think.
"A bond between you and piper might exist in teh most superficial of forms, but I wouldn't throw that word aroudn so much..or we might be crossing swords. and I promise you that you wouldn't like Malvolence."

"Typical of a Drow. Always thinking that all other elves are to be nothing more than slaves under their boots. What's that saying again that you all shout? The destiny of the Drow is to conquer all or something of that nature. Honestly." He wanted to play that game did he. Then a smirk from him. "Not only the impressive warrior but also the protecetive...body guard." He was careful with his word choice there, partly looking to see how Piper reacted to his words as well. That smirk only continued. "Touchy about bonds are we?" He looked rather unaffected by being told bluntly that he wasn't wanted around. "Well, then she can tell me that herself now can't she and I haven't hear her protest yet." Yup, play them against each other.
The little b*****d of a high elf. He was antagonizing Malik all the more, still looking for those buttons to push. And then he had to turn on her and put her in the position to say something to contradict him when she would like nothing better than to hide against Malik and hope Terran lost interest in the conversation at hand. "I don't think a bond could of formed that fast Terran...unless you are one who breaks them all to quickly." That was good. "And shouldn't you be...practicing or something? Heading off maybe to get a good position on the field?" Hint hint elf boy.

He needed more books and Alchemy supplies to work with. He went across teh water in a makeshit raft. He had some goggles strapped to his forehead. Glowing eyes didnt look good these ones were tint so you cant see his eyes glowing eyes drew attention even when eh was hooded. He sat on teh raft and watched the shore get closer and closer.

Malik grinned lightly.
"The destiny of the Drow is to conquer all. you did indeed get that right. here's another for you, Xun izil dos phuul quarthen, lueth dro ...do as you are ordered, and live. and I think you've in not so many words been told to get along, little high elf."
His eyes got a bit hard, and his hand inched around Piper to rest on Malvolence.
"Perhaps if you are so interested in superiority..maybe you should enter a competition agasint me, and see how well you fare."

"I can see that poison is still affecting your mood, or maybe that's just you Knight Malik." But he shrugged lightly as if he really didn't care at all. "No need to get hastily with the name slinging. That leads to rock throwing." He gave a sigh and decided that an exit at this point would prove his plans useful. First though he gave Malik a smile, showing no malice in it despite how much he hated him already for his sheer existence. "Superiority against the humans only. They don't live as long as us and I have more than enough time to quarrel with you." Then his gaze shifted to Piper and his voice took on a softer tone. "Cormamin niuve tenna' ta elea lle au'...Simpetar." While saying that he reached out and touched fingertips to her shoulder, but fast enough to pull back and not have Malik get hold of him, promptly walking off before the drow started something over it because his property was touched. Though he scowled as he walked away...she had flinched.
Indeed she had flinched. One she was still quite a bit off from his goodbye, it being more intimate really than anything, two she wasn't expecting it, and three well he was him. But she shook her head, frowning lightly as she watched him walk away...had half the mind to let Malik have his way with him. But then again she didn't want Malik under any unneeded stress or anything at all really right now. In due chastising fashion though her hand moved down to his wrist, tugging his hand away from Malvolence. "You're not allowed to touch that right now, remember?"

Malik face went from dislike to nearly homicidally angry when that...white skinned worm..dared touch piper. of course he rolled his eyes a bit when she moved his hand from Malvolence.
"Yes, yes...no playing with the power augmenting violent sentient sword. and what did he just say to you? I know that wasn't just 'goodbye and good luck.' by the sound of it."
Of course his eyes followed Terran until he faded into the crowd.
"I hope he signs up for just one event against me. just one."

"I think he's smart enough to know that you would easily maim him and thus won't." Of course just as he had, Piper had been watching him until he melding into the crowd as well. Pity she'd be seeing him again, even in just competition. What was he looking for in her answers anyway? But a nod first. "Right, no evil toy of doom and death brining." Though she bit her lip slightly at the other question. "It was a rather...intimate goodbye really...he said 'my heart shall weep until it sees thee again'...oddly enough it matched his hello." She shook her head in obvious distaste before leaning into Malik's hold again. "I don't know what he's looking to get out of me, exactly...he's looking for answers and reactions it seems." A frown then. "Nope...don't like him..." And thusly she rested her head against Malik's chest.

"I'll make his heart weep. it'll be crying blood once I rip it out of his chest."
His hold on her tightened just a bit, and his other hand ran lightly through her hair, leanign down and kissing the top of her head lightly.
"I don't know what he's up to..but he's fishing for something. he was obviously baiting me..and he's little comments to you if they were like those goodbyes or hellos...It's like he's trying to flirt while seeing how far he can go before I break something of his."
A glance down at her.
"Just beat him in teh archery, that should wound his pride enough to get him to avoid you. most Koada'dal hate being aroudn someone not of thier own that can best them in something."

Strangely she found his threat toward Terran a bit endearing. But no matter to that, it was just how Malik was. Though she relaxed easy enough in his hold, more so when he kissed her. She always felt safe in his hold though. "Those others are...different. He's trying to get answers out of me...perhaps about you. It's almost like he's gathering information under the pretenses of concern...tht way he asks thing." Of course her mind flashed back to their other conversation in the stands. He was indeed probing for information in his own way. Piper looked up at Malik though as he glanced down to her, triple colored eyes easily showing she wasn't too happy with it all, but she nodded at him. "Hopefully...unless he has ulterior motives...then he really wouldn't care would he?" A sigh from Piper before she dropped her head to his chest again. This tournament was bringing nothing but trouble.

Bode was quite, even when favored ironsides showed up. She just didn't much feel like petting him today, and didn't bother to ask if she could drive. It didn't really seem that fun anymore.
Moonstone chuckled. "Yes, this morning aught to be fun. I can't wait to see the looks on poeple's faces when they see that Malik is alive adn well. And competing." He put a claw to his chin. "I wonder the most about the king. Is this going to goade him to perhaps try harder? The last I remeber he wasn't too found of us eitther. We never even went back to "report" our findings."
The Oracle made her wway carefully through the Lostagrace marketplace. It was a shabby place, the fairs and food not so great, but everyone had to eat, even a blind reader of the future. A man dressed in green, with shoulder-length white hair tied back wiht a black ribbon, and tiny horns poking out fom his forehead lead the Oracle by the elbow. Poeple did not know who the pair was, or where they came from or where they went to after they left Lostagrace. Either way, Tanundra's sinister appearence was enough to keep most people away. That and those who bothered the Oracle usually ended up missing.
"I am getting sick of this rotten food, Tanundra. It might be time we moved." The dragon said not a word, didn't even look at the woman. She sighed. "I know. The family has been here for generations. But I can't expect to find a suitable mate here. Or devent food." She sniffed at an apple that was quite past it's time. "But then again, where am I going to find a suitable cave? Ah complications.

Dreadmore put the ship on shore so it wouldnt wash away. He pulled up the hood and tightend his gloves. He lowered his goggles to cover his glowing eyes. He started to walk to Lostagrace. He took a shady way this town was rugged and tough but nobody asked questions when a shady guy walked in. He looked at the huge gates to the Town. He walked in and headed to the market place he came for only 3 things on this trips. Vials, Book, and Alchemy mixing material. The walk was typical people would call out other people to by there stuff either it was voted best by his mom or the best Damn thing in the kingdom Dreadmore didnt like humans to much after seeing humans thru the prespective of something that is feared for no reason you realize how truly stupid they are. But they do sell things at a good price and thats why he was here he continued his walk.

"Oh, stop that tugging. I remember where the meats are sold." Again, the dragon said nothing, and yet the Oracle seemed to here him speak. "Yes, I suppose I should replensih that balck ooze. But where am I going to find a decomposed pig's heart in this place?" People who heard her talking either laughed, thinking it was a joke, or ignored her. "I don't know, that least time that man gave it to me he seemed very hesitant. Do you think I can get him to do it again?"
Tanundra of course, said nothing. Instead he steered her towards a canopied table that had an assortment of vials, vases, jars and bowls. The Oracle began to sift theough them, loooking for one the suited her purpose. "I don't suppose it would hurt to ask."

Dreadmore was a few feet away reading a book that showed what he would need mainly his way of paying for things was to dig up corpses and take old jewelry a few rings was enough to fund about 2 months of work. For all he cared he could of dug up priceless antquties it mattered little money was of no importante just knowledge. He picked up a few items blood, Herbs, Vials, Books, special dragon bones used to mix things, and anything that could catch his glowing eyes. He stayed low the only thing taht made him stick out was his voice that sounded inhuman but in a place like this nobody ask questions. He picked up a small jewel and examined it. "Bloodstone? How did you come about one of these shop keep?" he looked at the shop keep Dreadmore had a scarf over his mouth so all you could see was the goggles. The shop keep spoke in a Jamacian Accent. "That thing mon? It was just a something somebody sold me ya? Its cursed the say ya know?" Dreadmore examined it. "Well im sure it cant make things quite worse for me." the shady undead replied.

The Oracle baought a vial, but the man who has sold her the decomposed pig''s heart would not to so again. He had been nervous the first time, said he had a reputation to keep. Reputation? In this place? highly doubtful. He probably just didn''t like the smell. "Next time he gets a cold, I''m making sure that soar throught never goes away." A vengful lady certainly.
Then something very interesting caught her ear. "Tanundra, steer me over to that vendor." She pointed to where she heard the voices. "I am intersted in that one."
Tanundra pulled her over by the elbow, careful that she didn''t trip over the many items and drunk bodies sprawled about the place. She came up behind the one with the odd voice.
"The living would do well to steer clear of cursed objects."

"He better care. and he better be careful about what he's sayign and to whom. I'm not about to sit idle while someone plots against us. be it an elf or a king."
Then another small kiss, a bit of a lingering one, and started to gently lead her toward the archery event, keeping very close to her.
"For now, lets just beat that little koada's a** with your bow, and we can deal with breaking him in other ways after that. though if I compete..I may ask for use of Malvolence. I'm still not up to par, and that blade in my hand alone should cut down on the chance of injuries."
Onyx was a little concerned for Bode, keeping the lizard at a stead pace beside Moonstone.
"Last I heard, rumors abound that Malik is a ghost..or an undead revenant that is looking for vengence on the one tht poisoned him. Or that he's a drow, and that his body is immune to such poisons being native to teh area...or that he's just a real badass. no one quite knows what to make of his recovery yet."
Another pat on Bode's head, and a little nuzzle of her cheek.
"you're awfully quite, Bode. anything I can do to help?"
