Demetri nuzzled Lunora's hair with his nose, smiling as he held her. "They're eating in the gardens," he said. He always had a magic trail on the two boys so he would always know where they were. What could he say; he was a protective father. "It appears my brother has been spoiling them again," he said, shaking his head slightly.
Damian watched as Hakaru opened his treat from their uncle, and considered doing the same as he finished off his meal. With a shrug, he decided to, and he pulled out the little bundle, opening it with a smile and taking small bites to make it last longer.
Jethrow quickly scratched down a letter he'd deciphered, and managed to finish off a good paragraph from that one letter. He reached out blindly, knocking down an unlit candle before taking a hold of the scone on his table, and it took a few tries before he found his mouth and managed to take a bite of it.
As Anya slowly ate her apple, Searan told her about what he'd been doing in town. Rather than sticking around the castle all day, Searan usually went down to the village and helped out with the various daily things. He'd been working with the blacksmith that day, since both the apprentices were sick.

Lunora smiled and kissed his cheek some, relaxing in his arms. "You'll have to yell at him later." she said, playing with his hair some.
Hakaru soon finished his treat and smiled, setting his dishes aside to lay down in the soft grass. All the food and the nice day made him sleepy. So he laid down, curling up next to his brother and drifting off into sleep.

Demetri chuckled a little at Lunora's words. "Yell? I don't know; this is my older brother. He won't be letting me yell at him any time soon." He moved his head a little so that his face rested in the crook of Lunora's neck.
Damian watched as his brother curled up beside him, and with a shrug, the older twin put his hand on Hakaru's head, staring up at the sky as he listened to his brother breathe. I wish I could fly, he thought before looking back down.

Lunora only smiled as Demetri rested his head on her shoulder. She gently guided him over to a tree and sat down under it, letting him rest his head on her lap. She then began to hum to the wizard, gently stroking his hair and running her fingers through the long ebony locks. "Rest, my love. You are tired." she whispered to him before resuming humming her song.

Demetri moved with his wife, glad to lie down. "Those students are all energy vampires," he muttered closing his eyes and feeling Lunora run her fingers through his hair. He gently rested one of his hands on her knee, glad to have her there. The chaos that was Anya's classes had taken its toll, needless to say. He wondered at how she was still awake after teaching an actual fighting class. Then again, magic and physical energy took different tolls on different people.

Lunora smiled more and continued to sing to Demetri, stroking his hair, starting to braid it a little out of habit. He never seemed to mind it, especially when he was going to sleep.
Hakaru slept for a few more minutes before waking and yawning softly. He sat up and ruffled his hair, getting rid of all the grass, leaves, and willow petals in his hair before looking to Damian. "How long was I asleep?" he asked with a wide yawn.

Demetri could feel Lunora braiding his hair, but he didn't mind. At this point in time, he was too tired to stop her. He fell asleep quickly, though it was a light sleep that he'd easily be able to wake up.
Damian heard Hakaru's yawn and he looked over at his brother. "Not long. Just a little bit." The older twin flicked a missed leaf out of his brother's hair.

Hakaru flinched a little at the flick, but realized it was only to get rid of a leaf. He then looked to his brother. "Damian? Want to go bother mom and dad?" he asked. He knew Damian liked to mess with their parents, and he looked rather bored...

Damian grinned wickedly, standing. His tail twitched and he stood quickly, reaching his hand out to help Hakaru up. He swiveled his ears around, catching a whisper of their mother singing. Typically, wherever their mom was, their dad wasn't far behind.

Hakaru took his brother's hand and got to his feet. His ears also swiveled to catch their mother's soft lullaby. The younger prince was now wishing he hadn't opened his big mouth.... 'Oh dear..... What have I done....'

Damian smirked after Hakaru was up, and went dashing to follow the lullaby. As he got closer, he slowed heavily. Crouching low to the ground, he started to crawl towards where he could see their parents sitting in the grass. Dad's sleeping, he realized, and he paused in his attack, second guessing it. Finally, he crawled out of the bushes quietly, coming up behind his mother and sitting down beside her.

Hakaru dashed after his brother and soon stopped when his twin did. But he watched as Damian just went to his mother's side and sat down. He smiled and did the same, going to the other side of Lunora and sitting down.
Lunora looked to Damian as he came out of the bush and sat next to her. She smiled only more so when she felt Hakaru nestle up to her other side. She pulled both boys close, stroking their hair. "And how are my little princes today?"

Damian looked up at his mother, then at Hakaru. "Good," he responded, his ears twitching to the front as his mother stroked his hair. He blinked lazily at Hakaru. He wondered what his brother would say, since he knew there had been those idiots being mean to him.

Hakaru smiled some and enjoyed the petting. "Fine, mother." he said with an innocent smile, not meeting his brother's glance as he relaxed at his mother's side.
Lunora smile some and looked to Damian. "Was it a good day, Damian?" she asked. Damian always ratted on who was mean to Hakaru. It just seemed like something the little elder prince would do.

Damian watched Hakaru carefully and looked up a their mother, nodding. "Yeah, it was alright." He sat against his mother's side, staring out at the lawn. "Why do we have to keep going to classes? All the other kids don't like us 'cause we're better than them."
