I'm getting my own desk-top soon. quad-core is definately a must... I hate lag, especially when it's the computer. Then, I will get a laptop. And then more fire-arms 3nodding

Can you believe it?? $90 for a WWI M4 bolt-action blaugh comes with the bayonet, too! (well, not like it could come without it...) I'm gonna be helping my father take logs out of his forest today to work off the money for it ^_^ of course, ammunition prices have skyrocketed to three times their normal cost, so that's gonna be the hard part... sweatdrop

Sorry to say I am ignorant when it comes to firearms. I just know what I have read in my splinter cell books, but even most of that goes right over my head seeing as I have no past knowledge as a bases for anything. I would like to learn how to shoot an actual gun though. I think that would be something I might be good at, or that I could pretend to be good at.

xd Heck, if I was near where you were, I'd show you how to fire one. Please note, that a twelve gauge shotgun's recoil is not to be underestimated. Do not look down the sites of a 12ga. very closely, it will hurt. As for bolt-actionss, they're easy, as long as you're accurate. Pistols are just scream "fun". There's a type of fire-arm for everyone. For me, it's scoped bolt-actions and accurate+powerful semi-automatic weaponry and pump shotguns and powerful pistols... ... Okay, I just love guns. 3nodding If only I wasn't buying a computer, I would have a fun time at Sportsman's Den. twisted

We have a gun range down around where my parents live, I just have never gone. Didn't really want to learn from someone I didn't know, and make a fool out of myself in front of strangers that I might see again.

I can just feel the sleep, it is killer. I will be back on later today, after the sun has come up XP

It was more like morning morning, but I get the idea.
PostPosted: Tue Jan 01, 2008 11:57 am

... It was... But "Good Morning" is commonly used as a "hello" or such... I say "Good Night" when I'm about to go to sleep, and my English teacher likes to correct me on the same thing in her class, right before I sleep through it rofl I'm not a morning person xd Well you were on... and I'm kinda tired... I'm gonna take a two-hour nap... and then come back... I gots some crazy "crew-meeting" thing at work at eight tonight... -.- oh well. 'noon 'noon, Edme xd

You do that, sleep is important.

And I think good morning, and good night should be used when it is appropriate, like when it is that time of the day.
PostPosted: Tue Jan 01, 2008 12:12 pm

... wait. You were just... off--... confused I've had too much caffeine to sleep @_@ and I don't have to help my dad out today, as there's a light snow and the windchill is like -50! (an exaggeration, but the gusts are maybe 30 mph right now. Was doing it all last night) ninja

We have a light snow too, of like four flakes... I love snow! Skiing is the best ever!

And I do that sometimes. Leave it idle for to long and it says I'm off, but I am still around doing other things... and I'm just sneaky like a splinter cell that way... ninja

And unlike Splinter Cell, you can kill me with your brain.

Skiing is fun, we have a ski resort not too far from here. I think it's in Mansfield. It's artificial snow, but it's a pretty big place and is so fun. It's pretty bad when you take a snow board... and try to slow down... because there's trees ahead... I had forgotten that the board was latched to my feet and tried to bail... I think the tree may have hurt less, but at least I didn't break nothin'. It just wasn't Christmas without the snow...

Yes, yes I can because I am psychic.

I have been skiing since I was six, but ever since we moved away from the north east I have been going skiing less and less. We went to Colorado over Christmas for skiing and that was great, it was the first time in three years, almost four, I had been and it was great because it is just like riding a bike, you never forget.

We have a ski hill in St. Louis, but I have never been. I said ski hill and not mountain because we don't have mountains in Missouri, we have hills, and I would rather drive 15 hours to Colorado to ski on a mountain than 3 hours to ski on a hill.

Because the time of fun memories is well worth the wait of the drive. 3nodding I had skied only once at Snow Trails, but it was because my dad was on an "informal" business trip and he brought me with him. My dad is the only (safety) engineer they kept when they laid off the entire Mansfield china plant at Crane Plumbing (like 800 people or so) and he knows the president of the company, past and current, and is friends with them. The man he was seeing (his arch nemesis) was the person from OSHA who commonly had to check up on Crane, so the president thought it would be good if my dad and (his friendly rival) the man met up and spent some time together. The rest of the time there was a lunch at the lodge, but I wanted to go skiing the entire time I ate... but Dad wouldn't let me, not without his watching over me, and he had to go after he had met the man emo

Skiing takes a while to learn, but once you got it, you got it. Boarding on the other hand is much easier. I don't know from personal experience, but my sister is a boarder. She never could get a handle on skiing after years of lessons, but a few lessons of boarding later she was finally keeping up with me.
