Hearing this Daichi got angry and started another jutsu (Dragon Ox Tiger) "fine then, i'll show you!" Daichi yelled at Kugen as he rased his leg up and stomped the ground, apparently doing nothing, yet, a second later the ground beneath him rose and fell like a wave "thunder style: thunder wave jutsu!" Daichi yelled as the wave's speed intensified, hurtling toward Kugen

Kugen's eyes widened as he pushed himself into the air, narrowly missing Daichi's attack...it seemed like a good time to go onto the offensive. He landed a few feet to Daichi's left and made several rapid fire hand signs "Wind Style: Windmill Blade Jutsu!" He pushed himself into the air and kept his arms extended at full length. The momentum building up in his arms created blades of wind that mimicked his movements. When he was mere inches from Daichi, his feet touched the ground and he came to a sudden halt, however, the wind blades aimed toward Daichi.

Daichi looks up and sees Kugen preforming his jutsu 'shoot, thunder is beaten by wind' Daichi states in his mind as he starts preforming hand signs "Thunder style: Teleportation Justu!" Daichi says as the wind blades get closer to him but right before they hit Daichi is gone in a bright flash

Kugen froze as Daichi disappeared. He was usually pretty fast, but he envied others speed. Defending against a faster opponent was something he was lacking in. He slowly rose from his fighting position and looked around...fortunately, Kugen had learned a few tricks of the trade...fast people can be predictable...

as Kugen looked around, Daichi silently appers on a building to the side, ironically a Ramen store, and unsheaths his blade "up here slow poke" Daichi mocks Kugen "you're tougher than i thought, so i will use my blade now"

Crap...hand to hand combat was one thing, but a sword...he'd have to keep his distance now, long range attacks were the best bet against a sword. Kugen was like a sitting duck, attacking now would be a bad idea, so he'd have to wait for Daichi to make a move before he could even hope to counter it.

((sorry Whitchard, it is, if you've seen the lastest english dubs as well as ahead in the subed jappaneese episodes (i'm a youtube user, go ahead and mock me) the art of teleportation is infact a Ninjutsu, you can apply the elements to it as well as just simply moving fast uses up Chakra))
"Prepare yourself!" Daichi shouts as he runs down the rooftop, directly at Kugen

Kugen pulled five shuriken out of his pocket and held them between his fingers. As Daichi grew closer he gathered wind around his hands and propelled the shuriken through the air, causing them to move much faster than normal shuriken could possibly travel. He then flipped backwards several yards from Daichi, that should slow him down and put some space between them at the very least, giving him time to regain his strength.

"Shuriken? do'nt make me laugh" Daichi turns one foot and moves out of the immediate path of the Shuriken, then turns his other foot and continues toward Kugen "too easy to dodge, even with their increased speed"
((remember, he was still pritty far away at the time))

Kugen's eyes narrowed at Daichi's words, he tossed the shuriken he was holding over his shoulder...they weren't going to work.

When the shuriken comes this time, Daichi simply blocks it with his sword and jumps into the air above Kugen

Kugen dodged to the side and pulled out another kunai as Daichi's sword came down, grazing his left shoulder. He sunk the kunai into the ground in front of him (crossing his middle and ring fingers and pressing his thumbs, forefingers, and pinky fingers together (<--again, don't know the hand sign...)), he pushed his crossed fingers down on the kunai. "Paralyzation Jutsu!" Suddenly, a yellow chakra line shot from the middle kunai to the six surrounding ones that he had used wastefully on Daichi; the six surrounding ones continued to make a circle, inside of which everything except Kugen was paralyzed. Kugen slowly stood up, removing Daichi's sword from where it had hit his shoulder and stared at Daichi for a moment. "Consider this a stalemate." He said as he turned and headed back toward town. "See you tomorrow, that should wear off in about five minutes..." He said lazily raising his hand once again.

((that's not one of the thireteen signs, so it's a custom one, and i'm working on a guild on what the thireteen major hand signs are, as well as others seen throught the animes/mangas)) (and i'm going to assume that the Paralyzation Jutsu is a Genjutsu, like the demonic illisuion and because it doesn't affect you but just animate objects)
"you think you got me huh?" Daichi sheathes his sword "normaly this would have been a draw, however since you're fighting an opponent that can see just about everything as well as through Genjutsu, well, let's just say that they can tell if you're planning on something before you even hint at it" Daichi sits down, lays down and unactivates his "come back and let's just talk for a while, you don't have to say anything you don't want to just answer questions that we'll most likely be asked about by sensei Arashi" Daichi looks back up at Kugen, seeing if he had even noticed that his Genjutsu hadn't worked

((no, it actually paralyzes you so that you can't move...but we can ignore that momentarily...))
"Nope, not interested..." Kugen said as he shoved his hands in his pockets and continued back to the village. That fight had used a lot of chakra, no to mention that he didn't have the social capability to deal with Daichi at the moment...sleep was all that was on his mind and it seemed like a good goal to be sure, no use messing with fool proof plans...
