THE FORBIDDEN WOODS

"Sorry, Tumble...just didn't expect you...did you use my time travle item again?"

"Yup!! It's fun!!" He said holding up an odd set of rings within themselves.

Feame took it and stuck it in his pocket, "Ive been looking for that for 50 years...no wonder you havent aged...you went strait here after the last meeting, didn't you!?"

"Right again, sir. It was fun!"

Tyr glared up at the tree tops, mumbling a few incoherent threats at the treetops. He didn't like K'Tathi for some reason, but could never put his finger on why. "i'm going to kill that little b***h." he growled, then shook his head. It was decided that, ignoring both the insensative little pricks was the best sort of medicine.

So instead, he leaned against one of the many trees withing reach and began brooding. it was unfair that he had to be picked on, and that he couldn't have a bath, and that a bird was mocking him. stupid Fates.

Feame pulled back out his cheaklist, "Well, I got some work to do here...you can tag along for now. You'd be picked alive out here alone." He said and started walking into the woods, not long befor he saw someone leaning against one of the trees, "Greetings!"


Tumble was a bit less....subtle about his greeting as he came right up to the stranget and started jumping up and down almost above the stranger's head, "Hi! Hi! Hi! I'm Tumble, who're you? Where ya from? Whats your favorite color? Why are you standing here?" The child poped off random foolish questions one after another, trying to get a smile from this stranger, who seemed rather sad.

Tyr's slit eye locked on the bouncing animal thing. he blinked one, then twice, then glanced up at the man that had apparently arrived with the.. thing. Both his tails twitched, like mirror images of each other. "...What? Who the hell are you?" His brow was furrowed in obviouse confusion.

Feame made a small bow, "Forgive me. I am Feame Rose. I'm coming through telling all of the fighting tournament that is coming up. All contestents will be taken care of. If there is anything I can do, I would be glad to help." He said, trying to stay as polite as he could.

Tumble just kept jumbing, "I'm Tumble! Who're you? You gonna enter? Do you know any other cat-races? Do you like dogs?" Tumble rattled off, saying more questions than he realized, once again.

Tyr narrowed his eyes, and 'tonked' Tumble on the head with a closed fist, in an attempt to either stop him from moving, or shut him up. "I happen to hate all things that move faster than a slow crawl."

The hybrids slit yellow eye didn't move from where Feame was standing. "A tournament? Sounds fun, but there'll be magic in it, ne?" fighting something that wasn't inaniment was a wonderful idea, but then, after the deal with the portal, he was treading on the cautious side of the river.

Tumble was caught mid-jump and fell on his butt, "HEY! THAT HURT!"

"Well, it got you to stop, didn't it?" Feame said to the cub, returning the focus to the man, "Now then. The contestants will make any rules for there fight. In other words...only if the contestants choose to allow it. The judge will simply inforce the rules made. The only non-optional rule is that it won't be to the death. Only till one decides that they cannot win."

"huh. You know, that sounds like it could be fun." He glanced down at Tumble for a second, then turned his head to the side; both his ears perked up a bit. "Hey, Sy, are you finished talking with your stupid bird? Going to come and socialize with the natives?"

((The fighting style is optional too. If you suck, you can use dice rolls. It's alot better chances for ya.))

"A bird?" Tuble said curiously, once again excited, "COOL! Can I see? Can I?!"

"If this 'Sy' says you can...but no touching...we remember the last one, don't we?"

"HEY! I WAS HUNGRY!"

"Not an excuse. Anyway," He said, talking to the man again, "You simply need to go to the tournament grounds and sign up. From there, you can put two and two together. You will be matched up with an opponent, then you fight. The winner will continue on, the looser will be healed, and then will be allowed to watch, or go about there business."

Sy broke off his little private conversation and glanced around a clump of trees that was masking him from plain sight. He glanced at both the new people that had arrived, and listened to what Feame had to say.

K'Tathi was perched on his forearm, her talons gripping the leather covering his skin, and she was obviously listening too. :: oh, Young Master, you should sign up your mutt. A true test to see if he really is as viscious as he claims, or nothing but a kitten with a loud yelp.::

::K'Tathi..:: He growled a warning, to the Owl as he spoke "A tournament. it sounds interesting, thank you for informing us.we'll discuss it, and then see."

Tumble continued to jump, "But I wanna play with the biiiiiiiirdy!!!"

"Do you mind? Be quiet for now..." He said, facing the man against the tree, "Well, if you will join, then I will see you there."

"Yeah." Tyr's ears twitched, the furr covering them standing on end, but he didn't comment on K'Tathi's statement. "Not sure how intack i'll be, but i'll probably be there." A jump through the portal wasn't the hybrid's idea of fun, but to get to fun, he needed to pass the magical transportation thingy. Woohoo...

"Well, then if you will, sign up at the tournament grounds, and bring your friend, if you please. For now, I will be on my way." He said, turning back, "Tumble! Come!"


"But I wanted to play with the biiiiiirdy!!!" Tumble complained but followed reluctently.

::Straaaange.::

Tyr glanced up into the trees, and his catslit eye focused on the Kestrel Hawk perched contently almost out of sight. He chuckled lightly and turned his attention to the Count. "Can i play with the other fighters, mommy?? i wanna be violent!"

The hybrid was mocking Sy.

Feame motioned Tumble and walked through the portal.

"Heh, now I can play with the birdy!" Tumble exlamed, befor Feame's hand reached back and pulled Tumble into the portal.
