Lyra gave a small wave and a smile to Ortensia before picking her up and setting her gently in the snow. Softly, he touched her hair before looking back up to Aiko...

Just in time to see Shippo slide off the dragon beside him. Stopping to breath, he watched long enough to see that he landed safely. Before Julia could follow suit, he promptly took her from the green haired punk.

As if hearing familliar voices, a belted face appeared around the curtain, closing off the house from the cold. If Blank could blink, he probably would have, but instead he tilted his head a little as Jayde brushed past him to the kitchen. Once she'd entered the house, he bounded down the stairs, stumbling only a little. He wanted to spend time with everyone, too!

Corli, following Shippo, fluttered down into the snow, happy to be in his element. Tunnelling down into the glistening snow, he popped his head into the hole that shippo had made.

"What do you think isn't it awesome it's snow and this is an island and there hasnst' been snow before and I did all this it's so cool!"

Indeed she did. Of course, she only learned from the best.
Grinning, Aiko let herself slide down into Lyra's arm and cuddled up against him.

"Thank you," she whispered.

Julia clapped, then turned around and held her hands out for Lucas, who flew into them.

"Yeah!" Shippou agreed as he poked his head out of the snow, joining in on the hyper babble. "That's awesome. I can't do anything like that. But I can catch the snow on fire without melting it!"

From the tree house, Elysia and Ivory glanced outside.

"Oh, the children are here," she pointed out.

Ivory nodded her responce.

Lyra, knowing a few tricks himself, placed a light kiss on Julia's head before leaning down and kissing Aiko's cheek.

"I've got to be the luckiest in all the world," he said with a sly smile. "A beautiful woman in each arm."

Again, if Blank could blink...instead, he faced Ed and Al silently for a moment. After the short pause, he tilted his head to the side as if welcoming them to his home and saying, "Sup guys?" He didn't really remember the two, but he was glad they were here. Idly, he wondered of the other kittens would be making their way down. Probably not.

His guess was correct, as they had all made their way to the kitchen to curl up in front of the oven, where it was the warmest. This was directly in Jayde's way, but she just smiled and cooed over them, working around their snoozing forms as best she could. The cookies that she hadn't offered to the pair she put on a large plate in the middle of the table, along with a kettle of hot chocolate, the mugs and a small cup of marshmallows. Again stepping around the kittens, she walked over to the door and called out.

"If anyone wants cocoa and cookies," she said with a smile, "they're on the table up here. You're welcome to help yourselves whenever you're cold from the snow."

Corli was looking at the flame that Shippo held, drawn to it like a moth, reaching his hand out. Just before he touched it, he heard the magic word.

"Cocoa?" He would never get tired of the snow, or the cold, but he would never turn down his favorite chocolate drink and cookies. Turning, he also saw the little pink one approaching him.

"Cocoa?" he asked them with a wide grin.

Disturbing the quiet peace of the snow, Dav let out a small snore that melted all of the powder in front of his face.

Oh crap! That was today?? Throwing off the blankets and rushing to get dressed, it was obvious tha tAnastasia was quite sure what her dream had meant--so many colors, blurring across the moon, which was unusually white--everyone was gathering on Lunis Isle, and she'd wanted to be there.

But she was late! Without thinking, she slipped on her blue native pants and ruffled top, hopping as she tugged on her sneakers. Thankfully, Fantasia was already at the door holding the package that she was also trying not to forget.

"Thanksloveyouby!" Ana hurriedly said as she dashed out the door.

As she neared Jayde's house, she realized there was something else she'd forgotten.

The snow.

Jayde watched all the children go up the stairs with some satisfaction--this would be a wonderful Christmas (kinda) for everyone! Hopefully...

Following them inside, she sighed a little knowing that there wouldn't be chairs for everyone. There would probably enough pillows for all of them to sit on, as long as none of her family came back downstairs.

"Here you go guys," she said with a smile, filling the mugs she'd set out earlier. "Be careful," she warned, more out of habit than anything. "It's kind of hot." Luckily, or perhaps unluckily, Jayde didn't realize what Corli was up to back outside.

"That's a lot of stairs," said the little demon with a sly grin. "You wanna fly up?"

A few feet from where Corli was, Blank nodded in Ed and Al's direction. Yes, he remembered them. With so few other kittens that he knew like him, it was hard to forget the ones he did know.
