Li looked down. "If...If i could i would take away her hearing problem for myself...if it would make her not hate me..."
"we are proud of you Arizona. vary much so...and unfortunatly there is nothing anyone can do about others tearing you diffrently...But....your strong enough to show anyone who doubt's your strenth that they are wrong." she smiled at Arizona and blinked, a tad surprised, when Arizona suddenly hugged her. Then she relaxed lightly. "feel better now?" she asked with a slightly laugh.

"I know you would. I think you just need sometime to find yourself. Not be watched by mommy. I've got a Stallion that you can stay with for a few days. He'll teach you to survive and help you clear your mind and all your stress." he looked at her, "Wanna give it a try? His name is Cheveyo and He's Magic and Spirit's only son." He nodded.
"Its only you an me." she whispered, "Its finally about me. And just being with you." she thought to herself. Her mother's voice was like music from heaven to her. She was so happy at that moment. She just didn't know what to do.

Li looked at her father and blinked. "w-without mommy? But....but..." D.L cut her off. "He's right Li, we need to be able to be by ourselves! Mom isn't gonna be there for us, besides...you want Arizona to like us again, right?" Li looked down and nodded. "o-ok..." she said to Koda, looking back up. "If D.L thinks we should...i-i guess...it would be good..."
"yes...and now that i got you feeling better...mind telling me who that stallion was?" she smiled at Arizona to show she didn't mean anything bad by asking. "I don't belive i've seen him around before."

"Cheveyo is a very nice Stallion. He as a small herd of mares he protects. I believe there's one other stallion in the herd, but no males are allowed there. He's fought to protect those mares, he'll keep you safe. Shall we go see him?" he asked trotting off in the directions of Cheveyo's grounds.
Arizona shrugged, "His name is Shadrack. I just met him but I haven't seen him in about a week, when you and I first started fighting. She said lightly. She hadn't thought about the stallion till now. What would she do? She really cared about him but she wondered if he'd returned to the wild and left the ranch. She hoped he hadn't.

Li followed her father, tho she was a bit unsure. Her entire life she, in fact, had been sheltered by her mother...and interaction with others on a regular basis...scared the mare. But she was an adult now...and she needed to become more independent...
"I see. I'm sorry about that...but...i wasn't really angry..just...surprised...I told Koda i wanted to be back before you guys grew up...but we misjudged time and when we got back i was...shocked to see you all so much bigger then when i left..." Nor explanied.

Koda trotted into new grounds, with Li. He nickered out and saw a tan stallion before them. "This is Cheveyo. He's going to teach you about life in a herd." Koda nodded.
The strong stallion trotted to greet them. He returned the nicker and in his strong charming voice greeted them, "Hello. I'm Cheveyo. I'm guessing your Li?" he looked at Koda, "Hey Koda. Nice to see you again. Can you do me a favor and tell my parents and Maggie I said Hi. Tell Maggie I miss her alot." he nodded and looked to Li.
"Its ok mom. If he doesn't come back then I know it wasn't ment to be." she nodded. "I understand. It'll all get better. Mom, Where's Grandma gone? Grandpa seems sad now. Did she leave forever?" Arizona asked.

Li nodded when she was egknoledged but said nothing, stareing a bit at the stallion with wide eyes an a trace of fear. She was starting to reconsider staying...i mean she could find someone she accually knew well to help her, right?
Nor's ears flicked. "I...don't know...I don't know where she went and i don't know if she left forever...I wouldn't put it past her...she's more stubborn then i am...she just doesn't look it. And he is...your Grandpa is really upset...I spoke to him a little bit ago and he barely said anything...just nodded and kepted looking around..." she sighed. She had finally firgured out why her and her mother never got along...and a way to fix their relationship...but now her mom was MIA!

"Will do. This is Li. I'll let you take over from here. I'll leave you both later tonight to head back to the herd grounds. She's safe with you and I'll be sure to tell Maggie and your patents."
Cheveyo nodded, "Alright then. Come on, lets get you settled in so heres no fighting later." he said before turning and trotting off toward a cave.
"Oh." arizona replied. She fell silent as thoughts flooded her mind.

Li looked to her father and back to Cheveyo. then, with a less then kind word from D.L, she followed the stallion. Tho she followed, almost everything about her screamed she didn't want to and that she was scared.
Nor nuzzled Arizona. "lets head back. I'm sure your father is worred about you." she said, lightly nudging her daughter back the way they had come.

"You'll be fine." he nudged Li. He entered the cave with Cheveyo. It was actually quite nice inside, and warm for that matter.
Cheveyo trotted over to the center of the room, "Li, you'll sleep here. Ireland sleeps close to you next to Sable and Wyatt. I sleep near the front so I can keep guard."
Arizona nodded and followed quietly.

Li just nodded silently, but D.L...well wels jsut say she was vary much Nor's daughter and didn't appriciate being told what to do. "excuse me but who gave you the right to tell me where i will sleep. I'm a fully grown mare and can make my own decions. By all reason, mr. Cheveyo, you have no say over me in any way." She snorted and turned her back to the two stallion and walked out of the cave.
Nor trotted back to where she had left Koda and blinked seeing the stallion wasn't were she left him. "stupid Koda...where in the world..." she muttered.

Koda grew annoied at the disrespectful act.
Cheveyo snorted and took great offence, "I tell you where to sleep so the other mares don't tear your a** up from head to toe. I welcome you into my home, my grounds. I am a lead stallion and you will listen to me. I have every right, it is you who is in the wrong." he snorted.
Koda trotted up and got infront of D.L., blocking her exit, "Back and say your sorry. You've been spoiled and think you can get away with anything. You know better D.l. Very much so. You will stay here, you will listen to Cheveyo and you will say your sorry. You know better and Mommy isn't coming to baby you." Koda snorted, his tone strong. The stallion stood tall in her way, ears back. She was not going to ignore him again. Or else he was done with it.
Arizona followed her mother quietly.

DL paused, her ears twitching. Her head lowered a bit. "yes father." she said before turning and walking back. She would openly yell and ignore any horse that tried to boss her around, except her parents, Spirit, and of course Racer. She stopped in front of Cheveyo. "Sorry for being opinunated, buttface." she said to Cheveyo, face totally serious, no sign she was being rude at all. except for the buttface comment of course. "D.L! stop it! you can't be rude to him!" Li said, appled at her other halfs behavior. "I'm so, so sorry Mr. Cheveyo...she is just vary loud and doesn't know when to stop..." "Oh shut it Li! i mean every word i say. I bet you dad made him deside to help us. You heard what Arizona said, didn't you? and tell me, do we have any friends? No, we don't, because no one likes us, no one ever will, and we might as well go jump off a cliff for all the world cares!" she bristled. "I...HATE...EVERYTHING!" she shouted as loud as she could muster. Instantly Li backed away from both Cheveyo and her father, eyes tearing, head shaking. Why was DL sayign such things....Li just wanted to try...to try and have a normal life...and be like other mares...like her sister...She sniffed and hung her head.
Nor's ears instantly perked hearing a loud shout a ways away. "Come on Arizona." she said, taking off in the direction of the shout.

Koda sighed. He looked away and walked to the mouth of the cave looking out. So this was really how Li and D.L. felt. He sighed lightly.
Cheveyo shook his head. "Your father is only trying to help you both. As am I. You should be ashamed for what you both just did. I'd never do that to my father." he said shaking his head as he turne and walked up, standing by the older stallion. He stayed silent, showing respect.
Arizona stopped and looked at her mom, "No." she said flattly. "Dad didn't come running to break us up from our fight. Li and Dad need time alone to themselves just like you and I did mom. Let them work through it. We can go do something while they fix their problem." arizona said in a mature aner. Her mother would know she was right.

"Li.." D.L started. "leve me alone..." Li muttered. "But..." "I said leave me alone! why do you do this? why can't you just let me try and be happy?I want to be normal, but i can't be normal with you always interupting...I want you gone! go away, leave me alone!" Li shook head head hard, as if tryign to toss D.L out. DL was quiet, before she spoke softly. "If thats what you want Li..." and then she was quiet again, retreating far back into the mind where she existed, but in a dorminte state. Li stopped, blinked, and looked up.
Nor stopped and looked at Arizona. "Arizona..." she looked backthe way of the shouting and back to Arizona, pawing at the ground nervously. SHe sighed and turned away from the shouting and walked back to Arizona and past here. She knew Arizona was right...but inside her...somting pushed for her to go to Li and comfort her...and it hurt, deep inside, that she now turned her back to her other daughters crys.
