To the side with his designated version of his instructor so to speak the young child was asked about learning gentle fist. Achiro nodded as he looked at the older and known man for but a moment before speaking. "Correct, my sister does not have Hyuuga blood and I have had no one to teach me. I could learn from a scroll but I would likely learn better if it is explained to me." He said to the man as his eyes constantly seemed to shift, as if he were taking in everyone else's training as well. Which he then realized might come off as rude when he thought about it. Looking directly into the eyes of the man who intended on teaching him Gentle Fist he would speak again. "I also believe it would be proper to inform you I have minor knowledge in puppetry, but no official knowledge outside of it's basis, and no applicative knowledge, and I am more focused in the sensory aspects of the shinobi crafts and tactical application through information..kind of like a commander." Achiro spoke...and honestly sounded more like he read a lot of books about things and had in no way applied anything yet. Likely even just repeating lines he liked that he might have actually thought applied to him but not really using his own words so to speak.

Todoroki was torn. On one hand, Kaylay was giving him all of the loves and the puppy wanted to be super happy about this affection. On the other hand, the dog was equally disturbed by the non-arashi ninja walking around. He had to trust in the secret friend, however. As Todoroki gave into temptation and enjoyed the scratches and pat downs, Kenshin asked for a taijutsu fight. The dog barked excitedly as he broke from Kaylay and eagerly panted in place. He was excited to fight secret friend. The dog was a good boy who could move fast and strike with strength! He was going to prove to the secret friend that he was a good boy. Furthermore, best friend Kaylay was going to be there to fight with him. With them and him, the two were going to have so much fun. He stood five feet from Kenshin as he waited for the spar to begin.
His eyes would light up as though seeing magic for the first time. Kenshin's execution of the technique's were sublime. The spped and percision they were delivered made the hair on the back of his neck raise. It was easy to see the killing power behind even the most basic strokes of the wooden sword. Kenshin spoke, putting the pressure on Kojiro.
He swallowed hard as he was only given one chance to replicate the techniques. The pressure was on. He knew had he not been skilled with his clan's techniques that infused chakra with the blade he would never be able to do such a task on demand...this didn't seem so far fetched for him. Within an instant, he would replicate the techniques back to Kenshin. They lacked the swift decisiveness that his did, but their form was spot on and the technique's had perfectly balanced chakra. With experience it was clear he would turn into an excellent swordsman.

__ Kenshin squared his stance in preparation for the spar with the twins. They were a considerable distance away from each other and he watched them don their brass knuckles as Todoroki sat in anticipation. "Interesting." Kenshin thought before raising his voice. "Begin!" The Captain stated and waited a second before charging in and throwing a simple punch from his right fist with his wrist pointed towards the ceiling and aimed for Kaylay's stomach. He greatly scaled back the force and speed of his natural punch to make it manageable for Kaylay. He was also interested to see what they could dish out.
Kenshin was impressed by how quickly Yuno was picking up the rapier style now. His explanation and demonstration appeared to make sense as she mastered that technique and moved to the next stage. She then managed to obtain competence with every technique in that stage as well. Her footwork and skills with the sword were improving quickly. She was also a lot more focused on completing each technique. When she inquired with him about her progress he simply nodded approvingly. "Well done. Now try the third stage. When you master that your training in that style should be done for now." Kenshin was interested to see if she could pick up the third stage just as quickly and efficiently as the second. The captain's experience in teaching was the countless drilling of Arashigakure Police Force candidates. Teaching Yuno was quite similar except the police trainees never wore pink dresses.
Kenshin then listened to Achiro explain his skills and what he wants to work on. Achiro struck him as very articulate and well-read on the subjects for his age, but he likely lacked practical experience given his age and rank, but his ambition to become a commander was admirable in Kenshin's eyes. The police captain would, of course, oblige to helping him. "I know nothing about puppetry and my sensory abilities are limited to the sight of my byakugan. However, I'm the greatest master of the gentle fist you'll ever meet." The Hyuuga clansman spoke with confidence in his abilities. Kenshin was always a man who knew what he knew and what he did not know and was honest about it. Kenshin reached into his coat pocket and retrieved a scroll of the gentle fist he had received from his grandfather when he joined Kumogakure years ago and begged him for it. He unraveled the Hyuuga scroll on the floor in front of Achiro. "Start with the gentle fist stance." Kenshin wanted him to start with that and would adjust the stance as needed.
Kenshin watched Kojiro perform the movements of each technique in the first stage of the Shigure Souen style. "He has potential." He thought as he watched him perform each technique excellently on the first try. This was a sign that he would master the whole of Shigure Souen one day. "Good. Now I'll show you the second stage." Kenshin then began performing last minute rain where he dropped the wooden training weapon and kicked it up by the hilt before catching it again and performing may wind, october rain by mimicking Kojiro's breathing and displaying an evasive dodge maneuver. "Your turn." Kenshin said to the apprentice swordsman.

Yuno actually smiled for once as Kenshin gave her a little praise. That was the kind of stuff she preferred to hear coming out of his mouth. Not any of that uptight nonsense about notifying the patrols. Still she couldn't linger on her own thoughts for long. There was training to be done and the next technique listed within the scroll was rather important to keeping herself alive. With a quick flick she raised the foil up horizontal with the blunt side out. This maneuver was supposed to be about blocking incoming projectiles. Though Yuno could scarcely dream of actually blocking anything with it. A rapier was just so thin, who knows how a projectile might deflect off of it if she didn't position it just right. Even with her doubts she practiced the move if only to keep Kenshin off her back. [1]
The following technique was much more impressive and by the same token held more of her confidence. By concentrating chakra to the legs one could jump far higher than normal, then on the way down one would channel chakra into the blade. As Yuno attempted the move she really did feel like the technique's namesake, a shooting star. Foil tip leading the way an aura like the burning exterior of a shooting star surrounded it. When she landed with an outward thrust a shock wave of chakra was sent forward damaging the floor slightly. Yuno found herself to be smiling as a result. It felt good to be able to do something like that. [2]
It seemed as if at this stage of learning, many of the techniques involved utilizing chakra to enhance one's strikes. In that Yuno was finding her comfort zone. She may not have been the best physically but she was solid at chakra control. The next technique called for her to lunge forward like with Dual Strike, except this time her strikes were charged with chakra. However she found herself a bit put off as she realized that she was currently incapable of seeing her own strikes. During the thrusts her rapier had actually vanished from her own sight and was replaced by glowing motes of light along the path of the technique. Kenshin could not doubt see the entire attack in action but it frustrated her that she was too slow. One day she would be as strong as he seemed. [3]
Concentrating chakra back to her rapier she built up a charge and then suddenly stabbed the foil into the ground. This was Star's Exploding Anger, another technique within the style. As a result of this technique a sphere of chakra grew outward from Yuno at a frightening pace until it reached out fifteen feet away from herself. Both the floor and the training scroll took on slash marks as the aura washed over them. This was the result of her water nature being released through the blade. Hopefully nobody else was within range of the attack, not that she actually cared about the others well being. [4]
"Have I trained to your satisfaction?" she asked abrubtly while her eyes looked upon her recent minor damage to the dojo. Her eyes also looked to the others to see that many of them were still training. While had grasped this training well her prospects in other physical training seemed... likely to be less than stellar. There was perhaps some basic training that could be done in either the use of shuriken or in gymnastic fighting, but that was going to be her limits.

Kojiro would continue to learn his forms from Kenshin. As his teacher would move on to the second stage of the style, Kojiro would witness the techniques first hand. Both technique's seemed to be very spastic and evasive. Kojiro would waste no time replicating the techniques once again.

The Keles ______[Kaylay] & [Keelee] [Kaylay] could tell that Kenshin was holding back with this first strike. In the position they held, they had to be able to unleash much stronger and faster strikes. When the fist came to their gut, it would pass through their form, which would become ethereal in view before vanishing in a second. [Kaylay] had shifted to the right just before the attack connected. They'd position themselves as close the their instructor as possible while rearing back right fist for a strike. They focused as much strength as they could muster into their fist. As the fist began to move forward towards Kenshin's ribs, [Kaylay]'s arm split into three and would strike with a heavily enhanced form of the Hanchou technique they were currently performing.

Achiro nodded to his instructor as he was told to start with the basic form of gentle fist. Unrolling the scroll he would read the motions on it quickly. His eyes scanning the paper to memorize it and then closing it. He suppposed it was time to put his memory into motion. - 1
Achiro's eyes closed as he focused on his chakra control. Something that was easily needed in the method of fighting he was learning.. Allowing chakra to flow through his body, and into his arms as he focused. Applying the technique he had done while meditating. - 2
Opening his eyes after the concentration he would take a breath. His palms would find themselves opened and facing outwards in the typical stance to properly use gentle fist. He would allow the chakra he was focusing through his body and to his arms slowly exit his body through his hands.- 3
But it was not as simple as just allowing it. Releasing too much at a time was something that could happen and could effectively cause something to not work the way it wanted. He had to keep a steady flow, as opposed to allowing chakra to simply exit his body. He allowed it to exit and cover, creating a circuit of chakra of sorts. - 4
It required a much concentration at first, but soon he was use to it. After that his arms would go into the motions displayed on the scroll he had read. His arms thrusting forwards and ocassionally his hands shifting position into a more pointed position. Chakra flying from the circuit and into the air with each thrust regardless as he released a sigh along with a breath, then looked towards his instructor. - 5
Todoroki capitalized on the twin's brilliant dodge. As the fist would go through the afterimage, the dog jumped toward the arm moving away from the twin's with his mouth open to bite onto Kenshin's arm. If his teeth sunk into the arm then he would do his part to hold the man in place while the twins delivered their strike. This was a taijutsu match after all, so using ninjutsu in this fight would be in poor taste.
__ Kenshin was satisfied with Yuno's progress with the rapier. He looked back but did not flinch when she released water from her sword. "I think I've made a decent apprentice duelist out of you. Keep practicing, but you're done for today." He yanked the practice foil out of her hand without permission and mounted it on the wall in addition to his own. He turned around and begrudgingly let praise leave the side of his mouth. "Good work today." With that he would stand in front of her and thought about where the new genin could be of use. "I want you to go to the market district and clean the graffiti off the walls. Based on my officers' reports, there's been a lot more vandalism than usual." Kenshin gave her a side eye as if he knew of her own delinquent behavior, but it was not certain if he was bluffing. "Go take care of that and report to the Spire when you're done. Oh, and feel free to help out in other forms of community service if you finish cleaning the graffiti early." With that, the shadow clone disappeared in a cloud of smoke.
Kenshin looked at Kojiro as he mirrored his movements effectively. "Good, now use what you've learned on me." He believed in a practical approach to teaching and he was certainly not afraid of a genin with a wooden sword.
When Kenshin's fist collided with the after image he prepared himself for the twins' counter attack. He could tell that they were putting effort into the fight and training exercise which was encouraging to see. When his fist flew through the ephemeral mirror image he stopped his movement. He watched as the counterattack moved towards his ribs. Kenshin performed a simple diagonal jump to the left allowing him to avoid the punch which then became tripled fists with a lot of power behind them for their current level. "Very good." The police captain praised them as Todoroki simply passed behind him as he jumped away. He turned to face the three once again. He moved in and made a fist with his left hand before swiftly bringing it down to hit the top of Todoroki's snout. The power behind the strike was greatly restrained, but would sting if contact was made. He then formed a fist with his right hand to swiftly attempt to deliver a restrained kick with his right leg towards the center of Keelee's chest.
Soft Physical Dodge C-Rank treated as A-Rank dodge with double supreme reflex.
Kenshin watched Achiro perform the precise movements of the gentle fist. Memories of himself struggling with the basics of his signature style of combat seized him in a passing instance. When he finished and appeared to have grasped the concepts of the gentle fist he nodded. "The hardest part is over. Now, I want you to demonstrate the gentle palm stance and the chakra needle. For the needle, focus your chakra precisely into your fingers to shape your chakra in such a way. The great jyuken requires incredible chakra control so focus on that." Once the mentor finished giving his instructions he would wait to see Achiro's attempts.

Finally Kojiro was instructed to use what he had learned on Kenshin. He was overjoyed that his training had gone so well he was permitted to use it. He would take a readied stance, sword's tip lowered to strike at Kenshin's throat should he move directly in to Kojiro. His double handed grip was tight, now way this would be a weak attempt. He would concentrate his eyes on Kenshin's shoulders, wrists and face. This triangular attention span would allow him to see any telegraphed movements to come from his body's tension as well as where the man's eyes shifted.
With a sudden, explosive burst, Kojiro would step forward into Kenshin's space. As he did he raised the blade over his head, releasing a blinding mist of green lightning. The lightning would linger around Kenshin's face and outward about two feet as Kojiro used this complex slash as a diversion to move to Kenshin's right, attacking with a solid horizontal slash, aiming at the man's arm.

A smile spread across Yuno's face as Kenshin levied the comment about making her into a decent apprentice duelist. Of course she was also forming the resolve to be more than decent, she wanted to be better than Kenshin. To surpass him would be her ultimate revenge. Perhaps it was childish but the thought never crossed her twelve year old mind. Indeed so caught up in it was Yuno that she barely registered how he had ripped the foil from her hands.
By the time he had said good work she was practically grinning from ear to ear. Of course such a face was dashed when he provided her with her next assignment. She wondered whom had hit the market, twas not her doing and frankly it seemed unfair to make her clean up the work of another artist. Still so long as her dad was out of the village there was little to be done. At least he didn't need to worry about Yuno heading promptly to the office, community service was not on her list of priorities at all. She would do what needed to be done and nothing more. Once the clone had dispersed she sighed before turning to head off to the showers before exiting the dojo. [Exit]
Todoroki lowered himself to the ground as his bite passed through nothing. Darn, it wouldn't be that easy. The secret friend was too fast. Therefore, Todoroki was going to take a different approach. As the fist was aimed at him, the dog pushed up from the ground and headbutted it. This of course would sting Todoroki, but he also put enough force into his headbutt to hopefully numb Kenshin's hand. If the sting of Kenshin would surprise him as much as the dog hoped it would, then it would give Kaylay a chance to make a decisive strike!
The Keles ______[Kaylay] & [Keelee] [Kaylay] was getting into this fight even though it had only just began. They could feel the power difference between them and the captain and couldn't help but get excited at a chance to fight them. As their strike missed, it became even more apparent what kind of difference there was between the two. Kenshin would then return an attack their way. They locked onto the fist and were caught slightly off guard by the kick, but would quickly assume a defensive stance. They brought both of their arms together and crossed them to form a cross block to defend against the kick. The were shook a bit from the impact, but weren't too damaged from the strike. They'd quickly be able to bounce back and let loose a series of strikes at Kenshin. First two front left jabs towards the face, then a right hook at the jab, finishing with a left punch to the collar bone. They'd be sure to keep a defensive posture at the end of the simple combo. With their defensive posture, they kept their body ready to perform a shunshin should it be necessary.

__ Kenshin was intrigued by the green lightning Kojiro was using in his strikes. The boy's form was also improving quickly. He jumped back and avoided the hit with his vastly superior speed. "Why is your lightning green?" Kenshin asked out of curiosity, he supposed that it was probably a kekkei genkai. In either case, he was intrigued by the lad's potential. "He's talented, he'll make a valuable edition to the force." At last, he may have found someone who might one day succeed him. There were others on the force that he would consider, but Kojiro is someone that he could train for many years to perfectly aid him in serving justice. "Hmm, I'll allow you to apprentice under me into the police force. I could train you to become a great instrument of justice. Keep training and when you're done, report to the Spire and I'll take you on a police mission with me." With that, Kenshin would disappear in a puff of smoke and all of the memories would flow to the original Kenshin.
E-Rank Formless Dodge [ Treated as C-Rank ]
When Todoroki headbutted his fist Kenshin momentarily arched an eyebrow. "Strange pup." Kenshin then moved in a flurry to dodge each fist after they blocked his kick. "Alright, I surrender, good work." Kenshin would admit defeat to the spar before backing up and articulating his evaluation of them. "Your training in taijutsu has proceeded well. Oh and don't worry about not hitting me, that was never going to happen, even if Hell froze over." Kenshin stated bluntly as he thought of an assignment to give them. "Consider it a victory. Anyway, my police officers are too spread out on patrols to do security detail so I want you two and the dog to guard the jewelry stores in the Gust District markets." Kenshin knew they could handle it even on the off chance that something might go wrong. The jewelry stores were hounding him for shinobi security for the past few days and his police were simply too busy with more prudent matters. With that, the clone would disappear in a puff of smoke.
