Coming from the dojo, Yoshiro was making his way around the perimeter of the school towards the main entrance. Suddenly though, he felt a cool sensation come over his head, leaving his head wrapping particularly damp. "What the heck?!" he shouted. Looking above him, he spotted an open window and reasoned that the water that had fallen on him must have come from there. Annoyed, he raced his way into the building and climbed the stairs to the second floor.

Once he navigated his way to the classroom where he thought the water had come from, Yoshiro flung the door open and stepped. "Oi! Who's the wise guy that threw water on me?!" he yelled, pointing at the top of his head. The room was packed full of people (four students and two adults) and any one of them could have been the culprit. In hindsight, this was definitely a trivial matter of little consequence, but Yoshiro was still a bit on edge from his experience at the dojo moments before.

Chie's head turned when she heard someone enter her room and close the door. It was an adult, and there was no clear village headband visible. This signaled to her that not only was he a threat, but he also did not know the rules of her classroom. Chie always left her door open for students to enter and leave. She knew that the majority of them would walk into the door if she left it closed. It was for that reason that, as the two students in front of her practiced the water manipulation technique, Chie formed a handseal and the door shot open. Her deathly glare locked onto the man until he spoke.

His voice was different than she remembered him. His features filled in more than the fragment of a memory that lingered in her head. But, there was no doubt that this was Takumi Saegahara. Her tension dropped and she slowly moved closer to the man. Her hand raised ever so slightly, as though she was moving in a dream. Her hand then gently caressed the man's cheek, and all of her emotions boiled to the surface. "Not here." She whispered. Her hand flung back and an incantation circle formed in front of it. The circle was brief and smoke covered her. Three shadow clones then joined the room as they looked at Chie for instructions.

"Teach the kids. I will be back later." She said as she guided Takumi out of the classroom. She poured nearly all of her chakra into her three clones. She had no reason to hold onto it, as she had infinite trust in her brother. They were family after all. Chie led Takumi down a long hallway that bled into a staircase. Chie closed the door behind them and then turned to her brother. "Have you seen Mother yet?" She asked. That was by far the least interesting question she wanted to ask Takumi. However, she was so lost in plethora of emotions she felt that she didn't even know where to begin. She wanted to laugh, and cry, and hit something all at the same time. She was doing her best to compose herself while the two had privacy.

Meanwhile, clone one moved over to the two kids. They had both finished mastering the water manipulation technique, which brought a smile to her face. As she was about to teach another jutsu, a little girl appeared. This little red head was absolutely adorable. Were her and this other girl already there? Chie clone one didn't believe that they were, but a lot has happened. It was possible she missed it. "Did you not pay attention to the water manipulation jutsu?" She asked harshly. She had no patience for those who made her repeat herself. However, she did take a breath. Then again, maybe the kid didn't have the water element. Chie was overly emotional, and she knew that Takumi's appearance was messing with her.

"Clone two, work with the other boys." She said as the other Chie nodded and walked over to Wren and Kenta. She then explained to them the water sword ninjutsu, which was designed to make a weapon of water on the fly. Chie clone two explained how at lower chakra amounts the sword was weaker, while at higher amounts the sword gained more durability. "Not that will matter too much for you two anyhow." She said as she performed a seal. A blade of water of considerable length and power. "But this is the final version of the weapon." She then disbursed the weapon and pointed at the two boys. "Now for your first assignment, I want you both to make an E-ranked sword and swing it at one another. If you both have the same elemental prowess, then the two swords should break as you two collide." She said with confidence.

Meanwhile, Clone one looked back at the two kids. She stared at them a bit as she tried to gain a feel of what element they both would have. Chie was usually rather good at pinpointing on sight what elements a student has. As a master of all five elements, she felt particularly gifted at this talent. She couldn't really do this in the heat of battle, but in the domain of her classroom she had a talent. Once she took a few more moments her fingers snapped. "I got it! Let's see if you girls can do this!" She said as she performed a few seals. The empty cup that was on her desk was carried along by a breeze as she then caught it in her hand. "If I caught you both right, then you're both capable of utilizing the wind element. And if that's the case, then the wind retrieval technique is an excellent cantrip to help you recover a dropped or discarded weapon." She said as she then broke down the mechanics of the jutsu. She explained what seals were used and what molding was required.

Finally, Chie three was alarmed at someone who barged into her room. Her immediate response was to attack, but she immediately stopped when she saw it was a super adorable child who had a pouty face. Chie couldn't help but smile at the child and how damp he was. The young woman walked over to him. "Sorry kid. I should have just used a sink." She said as she snapped her fingers. A spark of fire ignited by him, and the flame flashed dried his damp clothing. "If you want to stick around though and learn some ninjutsu, then I can teach you how to do some tricks. Starting with that cinder technique I used to dry you off." She said with a wink. Chie enjoyed the fact that she had students to worked with. She could not wait to get these kids to their full potential.

The woman that Mayume and Emiko had gone up to in hops of training was pretty. She had a nice dark pink head of hair that made Emi almost mistake her for an Uzimaki. She could have still been one since most people had a lot of strange hair colors hailing from different clans and such. Who was she to judge? Her retort about having missed a jutsu that she had done a short while ago. Emiko had arrived not but a minute ago, so any kind of demonstration would be lost to her. She weakly slumped back near Mayume and looked at the ground as she spoke. "Er, I was...I wasn't..." Her eyes showed hesitation in continuing on. It was her fault for missing it. Even if she had, no doubt that this woman would have yelled at her when she failed to perform it properly. Emiko let out a soft whine out of habit and tried her best to summon the courage to look at Chie. Unfortunately her courage reservoir was running on low and a glance at the woman's feet would have to do. "I'm sorry. I d-don't have..." She mumbled before the interaction would either be picked up by Mayume or at least moved onto another sort of topic.

She ordered the clone of her to work with the other people here as she stared down at the two students before her. Emi winced. The pressure on her was too much. She couldn't handle that gaze that Chie was giving her. She moved a little closer to Mayume while keeping her eyes trained on the ground below the woman. After what felt like an eternity she spoke up about learning a fuuton technique. It was simple, as it would have to be if she was teaching it to them. After a few seals she summoned forth a fallen cup nearby. It was a useful technique, even if it would be pretty useless later one down the line. The mechanics of the technique were explained to the two and then they were invited to try.

Emiko was up first. She faced the desk and concentrated on the pen that was hanging off of one of the clipboards near the desk. She practiced the seals that Chie had performed slowly at first before she used her energy on the actual technique itself. After a minute or so of practice she was ready to begin. After a deep breath and calming her mind, Emiko's hands moved quickly into the series of seals. In an instant the pen was airborne, as if somebody had tossed it to her. It spun wildely and then landed peacefully in the palm of her hand.

                                                                                  {Toridashi Kaze no Jutsu [ Retrieving Wind Technique ] Learned}
                                                                                  {Mission : Simple Training: Performance 1 [1/3]}

🍥 OOC NOTES [I would be fine with whatever Chie wants to teach them ^^]

"Are you--"

"Yeah," he responded. "Nothing I can really say, right? I'm not 'qualified' to participate as a Gennin, so -- I need to get there. Make my way up. That means... this. A bit late for my age, but... it's never too late, yeah?" The boy shrugged his shoulders, his eyes making silent contact with his concerned vagabond of a friend -- equally a societal reject, in all the pretentious manners necessary for one their age; spunky, flippant, rebellious in perpetuity.

Shinsei was a punk, and that was more than his aesthetic. He breathed it. A punk who ultimately failed the Academy before because he dropped out. Because he didn't take being a shinobi fully seriously, not when all he ever wanted to do was play with a hedge trimmer and spray hedge ferns with the most extreme of pesticides, until they were colored grey.

But now, he needed to make money. He wanted to go places, and do things. Being a shinobi was like... a... summer job. All the wrong reasons. It was ******** up and he knew it; Uzushio meant something. This was a place that belonged to him, and his family, his people -- the Uzumaki, the Senju, the... what the ******** ever. Whoever wanted to be here. He'd never hated this place, and so to call himself a shinobi felt... something like dishonor. But these were the apprehensions given to him by the society he had been built within -- the place that honored shinobi so intensely, sometimes, thoughtlessly. That was how it was.

He didn't know how he felt. But he needed to graduate, finish from where he started. Being a seventeen year old Academy student was the world's worst feeling -- and being broke was almost as bad. It was time to live up to his name.

He said goodbye to his friend, and stepped through the halls, until he presented himself to a red haired woman and her... students -- his fellow pupils -- partway through her lesson. He'd heard the final strokes of it, about the water sword. He knew what that was.

"Hello, everyone," he said, almost shyly... though somberly was more like it. "I'm Shinsei Sanada -- recently, I re-enrolled into the Academy. It is... nice to... meet you?" he asked, with reservation, as if he weren't entirely sure whether he was glad to meet them or not. In truth, he mostly wasn't.

"Should I... get started on the Water Sword?" he asked, rhetorically. "I'm a Senju. I'd like to learn how to properly utilize the Forest. But -- I'll get started with that, I guess."

He obviously didn't seem wholly sure of himself, but, he began nonetheless. Firstly, he needed a base-line, and he'd heard Chie -- who he did not know the name of, yet -- mentioning the Water Manipulation Jutsu. Considering that jutsu was the pathway to being able to use Suiton without a water source to draw upon, he needed it to learn the Water Sword. Thus, he began with that first, focusing on the movement of his chakra -- again -- like he'd done this morning.

It was odd to walk in and then suddenly start training, but... that was the Academy. He focused his energy on the concept before him -- controlling, moving, and changing the properties of water. Shaping it, heating it, cooling it. Drawing it from the air. The chakra needed to be controlled within himself, but he also needed to harness it to draw from what was external to him. Focusing his chakra some more, he did just that -- a blip of energy, like a pocket, pulling grains of water from the air. Then, some more, like globlets within the sky. That must have been Mizu Soujuu.

[Mizu Soujuu [ Water Manipulation ] Learned]

Which led into the next technique, the Water Sword. That was... Mizu no Yaiba. The technique itself was variable in potency, but ultimately changeable in shape and rigidity, much like Mizu Soujuu. It seemed that since water was manipulateable and formless, many of the techniques followed the same pattern. At least, from his elementary observation. Focusing his energy into his palm and attempting to craft a handle of water, he shut his eyes and cleared his thoughts, meditating on the visual of the blade.

Then, with a wet texture cooling his palm, he smiled faintly at the corner of his lips. And he continued. The water sprung forward in the form of a long dagger, though flimsy and likely weak, with few characteristics of any notable value. It was likely less useful than an actual sword, which seemed sort of dumb, but at least relevant after being dis-armed . . . ? The shinobi bit his lower lip and frowned.

"Yay," he remarked quietly to himself, mostly sarcastic. He just wanted to graduate.

[Water Sword [Mizu no Yaiba] Learned]

Before coming to the Academy, Shinsei had brushed up on a lot of the things he'd previously learned, knowledge that had fallen to the wayside over time. He'd recalled his past teachings, and the man who had imbued them within him, though clearly only residually. The memories and information flowed back to him -- the handsigns and the focus. The control. He recalled the meditation trainings his mentor had sought from him, ones that were never completed.

Shinsei left the Academy, the first time, a real mess of a ten year old; little motivation and little progress. Even if he hadn't made the strangely self-aware decision to drop out at his puerile age, he would have likely been held back regardless. Learning meditation, for one, was one such endeavor that had blighted him. He always messed up on properly stringing together the handseals, and even when he'd adequately gathered them, his chakra movement was slow and cumbersome.

He felt out of place, even back then. Now was little different. But at least he could practice; Boar, Ox, ... whatever, whatever. Dog? He didn't know. But he had a handy book at his side that would tell him, and so he endeavored.

He closed his eyes, focused his mind, allowed himself to feel the energy flowing and moving like a swirling mess within his own tangle of being. Always, though, it had felt distorted by an umber darkness that pervaded at the back of his mind, following his thoughts and actions with a heavy gasp of weight. Moving chakra felt different for him than it did for others -- he was certain of that. But still, he pursued it capably, recalling the lessons once imbued.

He moved it like jelly through his system; or perhaps more like blood, ever-flowing and naturally, as if his body were designed for it. Each instance of his focus and control was another tap into that umber blood of his, certainly in the metaphorical but compelling no less. He felt his energy move, and more clearly than ever, he could see that vast gloom that loomed over his mind... so clearly. He felt it.

It was wrong, and morbid, to look so deeply into it through the intimate lens of his closed eyes. But already, he could feel himself attuning more to his chakra, understanding it better. He would learn to tap into that gloom over time, even if that meant it would dance along his energy in a tangle far more intimate. It was all that of a vast weave. A network of shimmering contortions that blended and bended into one another -- chakra was a convoluted mess, but it was how humans lived the way they did.

It was, in many ways, like their blood as he'd wisely analyzed. Another ichor that many of them depended on to survive, and even thrive. He felt its importance within him now more than ever.

[2x Simple Training: Meditate Completed]

Next, he needed to perform techniques based on memory, as a method of ironing out the flaws in his chakra utilization. To be wholly truthful, the flaws were a mountain of many; he knew little about handseals, as previously noted, and even littler about full-scale utilization of jutsu. What little he had done in life broached only the edges of Moku Soujuu, but without true learning in that, either.

He had, however, learned Kage Bunshin no Jutsu from his previous instructor and decided that he would utilize that technique to fully express his current mastery, and find ways to improve on it. Clapping his hands together, using only a somatic gesture to perform the jutsu, Shinsei created a rather imperfect clone of himself. Immediately upon and amidst conceiving it, he felt a particular strain within his chakra . . . a repugnant disarray that repeated itself like a pattern.

It manifested in flaws -- a crooked nose, a marred jawline, silly eyes that practically spun and did not align right with his face. That was not to mention the anatomical woes -- but it was not from his poor knowledge of the jutsu, rather it was his infantile usage of chakra itself. He needed to improve on that.

Focusing his mind and shutting his eyes, he clapped again, this time more slowly. Shinsei viewed the jutsu in his mind. He viewed the creation of a clone. He viewed all of the things here and now, and after, and in-between; the many jutsu with many complexities. He realized that he needed to truly understand each technique to attune his chakra to the desired form. In this instance, it was only a clone of himself. Feeling 'right' and flowing 'naturally' was perhaps the most important thing.

He needed to not be tense. A calm mind was necessary for a skilled shinobi. With such a perception, the technique was cast again -- and this time, his chakra did not go awry, but was instead mastered artfully.

Mayume had kept quiet from her position slightly behind the other girl, only nodding when Emiko spoke to support her words. Scanning the classroom, she noticed two other students practicing and nodded a polite greeting to them if they made eye contact with her. Either way, she committed their faces to her memory. It was always good to remember who your classmates were, even if she did not know them well. Not yet anyway.

The pink-haired teacher’s words were straight forward. A little harsher than expected though, so Mayume blinked in mild surprise. Tardiness was something she disapproved of as well, and to be guilty of that offence on the first day of school was cringeworthy to say the least. She remorsefully bowed her head in admission of guilt, and was about to apologize when she heard a soft, barely audible whine to her side. Mayume’s hazel orbs flicked between to Emiko and Chie, noting how her companion was staring at the ground uncomfortably. The girl was shaken for sure, and it was made more obvious by how she mumbled out a few words before trailing off into silence. That would not do. So Mayume spoke up, her words submissive but steady. “Please excuse our tardiness, ma’am. We were unaware that you had already begun class, so we missed the demonstration. If you’d please allow us in, we would be very grateful to learn from you.” It wasn’t quite as polished as Mayume would have liked, so she thought about adding in that she would learn the technique from the other students after class. However, she didn’t want to risk the teacher getting upset for taking up their classmates’ time as well, plus the teacher seemed distracted, so it was probably best to drop it as soon as possible.

Then, someone burst through the door, rather loudly proclaiming their presence and problem. Honestly, it was more comical than anything, although mostly because Mayume had no idea how he had gotten wet in the first place. She observed him quietly as he stared around the room, looking for his culprit. Although the horns on his head were not exceptionally rare, it was still unusual to see an Oni, especially one around her age. When his eyes landed on her, Mayume shook her head apologetically, signaling that she hadn't done it nor had any idea who did.

Chie formed some clones to distribute workload, which Mayume thought was a very clever idea. Mayume stared back as the teacher regarded them, making sure to keep her gaze open and trying to convey an eager student attitude. Chie then demonstrated the Wind Retrieval Technique, and Mayume observed as Emiko flawlessly copied the technique. Turns out it was a good thing that Mayume had been practicing her handseals just this morning. The girl looked around for a suitable target, and then copied the handseals in a slightly slower but steadfast manner. An eraser from a nearby table neatly sailed through the air into her hands, and Mayume smiled at it. A pretty neat trick indeed, especially if she could use it to push light weight objects away from her as well. Mayume made a note to test that out later.

Yet another student entered the classroom. An older boy, with a reserved air about him. Still, Mayume was never one to judge appearances. Curving her lips into a small smile, she nodded her head at him in a polite greeting. She would have said something in return to his words, but he seemed more interested in the water techniques and it didn’t make sense to offer him her name if they weren’t going to be working together during this class. If he re-enrolled then Mayume was pretty sure she’d see him around some other time.

Staring around the room, Yoshiro caught the eye of a dark-haired girl. Was she the one that had poured the water on him? His suspicion must have been easy to read because before he could even speak a word, the girl shook her head, indicating that it wasn't her. Fortunately for him, the culprit was rather quick to step forward, revealing themselves to be their instructor. Though an annoyed expression remained, he listened to her apology and found himself getting distracted when she used a katon technique to dry his head. Fire was definitely the element he was most interested in when it came to ninjutsu, something that was visibly apparent from the subtle sparkle in his eyes when she cast the small flame.

Hearing the woman offer to teach him the technique she had just use, Yoshiro's face lit up with excitement for just a brief moment before he regained his composure and reestablished his scowl. "Yeah. I guess teaching me some stuff would make us even." he said, crossing his arms over his chest and turning away from the women in hopes of hiding any signs of excitement. Even if he was excited to be learning new techniques, he was more concerned with protecting his "tough guy" persona. The last thing he wanted was for people to think his "righteous anger" could be so easily calmed.

Before the teacher could actually respond, another person entered the room, drawing Yoshiro's attention towards the doorway. Based on the man's appearance, he would have thought he was another instructor or at least an assistant of some sort. To his surprise though, the man introduced himself as their fellow student. 'Isn't he a little old to be a student here?' Yoshiro wondered to himself, not as an insult but out of pure curiosity. He would have inquired into the matter, but the man wandered furthe into the classroom before Yoshiro got the chance to say anything to him.

With that quick distraction over, Yoshiro returned his gaze to the clone of their instructor that was with him. "So, teach, how'd you do that cinder thing you just used? Seems like it would really come in handy for cooking." he asked, his expression having fully softened into one of curiosity.

She was still relatively close to the puppeteer but she'd selected a tree in which she could fully take advantage of her brooding. Purple lines streaking down in a manner almost despair like. Her Shakuo kept smacking against the tree as she swung it in a manner akin to a very reserved tantrum. The air around Kyomei was spookier and heavier than usual with good reason. Did this village even need an exorcist. The clang of her Shakujo was incredibly loud. Loud enough that it would likely be causing a disturbance to all the good students trying to learn. Even the three ghostly paper dolls that hovered around Kyomei containing her techniques had their heads bent over as though they had personality. "Their fault...bara bara." CLANG. As the Shakujo struck the tree. "Their fault." as though her chanting of Bara bara's an unhata's were replaced with this as a mantra she would repeatedly strike the tree only serving to cause an ever echoing racket. Suffice to say any students who were subject to easily being peeved or required intense focus would likely be getting irate. In the case of Sadayo this was likely some very unsettling behaviour, but would she know how to handle it. After all Kyomei was now essentially an orphan. She had no place to go back to. The village she knew was taken away from her. Lord help her if it involved a tailed beast rampage...ooooooo. Her home temple likely wouldn't have survived five years without her father. The time she'd been summoned back into. One could only imagine how this would tear at a girls heart who hadn't even yet to reach true puberty.

Clone one internally groaned as she clearly intimidated the red headed girl. She really needed to work on controlling her temper. Although she was an academy teacher who was talented at her job, she was definitely not in control of her emotions at all times. She smiled, however, when both her and her friend managed to utilize the trick to pull light weighted objects to them. Chie clone one smiled widely as she placed one hand on Emiko's right shoulder, and Mayume's left. "You see! You two are practically born ready for this!" She said as she pushed off from the two girl's shoulders and then snapped her hands into finger guns and aimed one at each of them. "There's no real need to be formal or apologetic. You both are here to learn, and I have so much use for that!" She said excitedly. She wanted the girls to feel welcomed. She could get them much more prepared for the real world if she had their trust.

Meanwhile, clone two was stunned when this new ninja came into the room. She had three thoughts. The first is that this academy student had a five o'clock shadow. The second was that dwarfed in height and age the other two boys she was working with, who had yet to master their water swords. The third thought was that he was so incredibly talented that, not only did he pick up on the water swords with only a slight introduction to them, but he also was able to learn a technique that he wasn't even in the room for. This man was clearly a latent ninjutsu prodigy that could become the next Hokage if he could just bring himself to getting a haircut that doesn't make him look like a discarded Robin sketch for the DC rebirth series. Regardless, the fact that he learned this tech so fast meant to Chie that she needed to step up her game.

"The senju bloodline utilizes the water and earth elements. Learning the basics of them will undoubtedly increase your prowess with your bloodline." Clone two said confidently. Chie recalled how, when she was a genin, she trained a ninja with the senju bloodline. The woman definitely seemed to gather a lot by learning how to better manipulate her two elemental affinities. Of course that girl also made a water dragon and had it collide with her academy, but that's the past, and this is the present.

At the same time, Chie clone three smiled at how bashful the little guy was. "I would love to teach you this jutsu. First, place your fingers together." She said as she brought her hand up to the boy's face. She had her thumb and index finger pressed together. "Now, some people while they perform this technique like to imagine the death of half of the world's largest movie's franchises when they make their snap, but I like to tell those people that they're problematic and hyper focusing on a single portion of that film." Chie figured that her slight rant would be wasted on the small boy. She just wished more people would be conservative and wait to post spoiler related memes on their ninja liveblog pages. Then again, maybe Chie spent too much time online. "Regardless, mold your chakra into your hand and picture in your mind the exact spot you want fire to emerge from. Your chakra will be carried through the air to that exact destination, causing the spark. It won't do too much other than ignite things, but sometimes that's all you need to get the ball rolling!"

Clone two watched clone and and clone three discussing with their students various ninja related things. The fake woman whistled as it caused the attention of the other two doppelgangers. "Alright me. Let's get a general lesson taught." Chie clone two said. The other two clones nodded as the three in unison moved to the front of the class. Clone one stood in the middle with clone two on her left, and clone three on her right.

"Alright guys. Let's go over the most basic of ninjutsu techniques." Clone one said as clone two wrote out several techniques on the board behind her. Clone three did the same thing as she wrote out the general descriptions of the moves. "The six techniques you need to learn in order to graduate are the transformation technique, substitution, clone technique, act of water walking, act of tree climbing, and the genjutsu release technique. Also known as kai, since it's super easy to remember." Clone one said. The clone then formed the tiger seal with her two hands and brought them to her chest. "It literally is only the tiger seal, and it works like a hard reset on a computer." Her hands then broke apart as she looked around the room. "Do you guys even have computers?" She asked honestly. Chie had one since she was an academy teacher, and having a computer infinitely lessened the amount of work she had to do. She loved her computer, and her online ninja liveblog.

"I'm getting side tracked." She said as she shook her head. She needed to reel herself in. "Point being!" She as as she brought her hands back together into the tiger seal. "Is that you use this move to break out of the genjutsu, and you break out by flushing out your chakra network. You need to expel the same amount of chakra that was used to make the genjutsu. However, since that can be difficult to gauge without sensory skills or a lot of knowledge of genjutsu, I always flush more chakra than I think is necessary." She said with confidence. Genjutsu felt weird to her, since ninjutsu was the art of physical manifestations of chakra, and that's what she excelled at. Regardless, Chie then broke her hands apart and folded her arms underneath her bosom.

"The rest of the techniques you start off with are super simple. I'm going to have them written on the board, and my descriptions should fill you in on how they work." She said as clone three finished writing up the remainder of the descriptions. Chie felt as though her sheer mastery of ninjutsu would allow her to properly educate these kids on these techniques. After all, what was there not to know? The two acts allow you to walk on things you shouldn't walk on. Substitution was a cute little, "psych!", technique to make people frustrated. Transformation was great if you were a troublesome Hokage who liked to parade around as a little girl and trick people. And the clone technique is never used. Never.

"Of course, if I only taught you what you were required to learn in order to graduate, then I would be one incredibly bad teacher." Chie said with a smirk. The two clones then moved to her side as they each started to perform a series of seals. When they both finished, there was a plume of smoke, followed by a sword which appeared out of no where. Chie clone two caught the sword and held the blade high into the air.

"This may look like a real sword, but in reality..." She allowed her voice to trail off as she went to stab herself with the blade. The sword poofed into smoke as Chie smiled. "That is what happens when you combine the generic clone technique with the transformation technique. Since both are illusionary based ninjutsu, you can utilize them together in a sacred ninjutsu art known as Korabo." Of course, Korabo wasn't necessarily a sacred art. It was just sacred to Chie. Her entire form of combat revolved around the ninjutsu art of korabo. It was for this reason that she taught this technique to every academy student she has.

"This technique is the art of combining two ninjutsu into one. Usually when I want to be fancy I perform both techs myself at the same time to fuse them. However, since you guys lack the ability to make solid clones, my incantation circles, or one handed handseals, I am going to pair you guys up!" Chie looked around the room and saw that she had six kids. Perfect. "Alright then. Girls, you can practice with each other the art of korabo." She said to Emiko and Mayume. She knew those two came into the room together, so they seemed like the ideal candidates to learn this bonding technique. "Mouse, you work with the other boy to learn this." She said to Kenta and Wren. "And that just leaves you two." She said as she pointed to Shinsei and Yoshiro. "In order to learn this technique, you need to sync your chakra with another. Mold chakra seals with them and learn to act as they do. You can then merge your two techniques together in the same way that I made my sword."

Chie paused as she waited for her class to understand. "This is one of my requirements in order to graduate as genin. Failure to learn korabo with another ninja is punishable by failing." She said sternly. In truth she wasn't sure if she had the power to fail a student solely because they refused to learn a move, but boy should these kids not try to find that out. After all, five years an academy teacher has proven her to be a competent backbone to this establishment. "Now that you have your groups, you may be-"

She was cut off. What was that obnoxious banging. The three Chie's moved to the windows. Chie three looked back at the class, however, to signal them to start learning. The three imposters looked at this smol girl hap-hazardously making a scene. Was she an academy student? The three Chie's moved away from the window and looked at each other. "One of us should probably go talk to her." Chie two said. The other two nodded. "Rock paper scissors?" Chie three asked. The other two nodded and they played a few rounds. Eventually, Chie one lost the match. She sighed as she left the classroom and moved down to the exorcist. The paper dolls she had floating around her alerted Chie to the fact that she probably had some competency in ninjutsu, since they seemed to pose no hassle for her to so freely manipulate. "Excuse me. Are you... lost?" Chie clone one asked with her hands to the side. She really had no idea what to ask this girl. All she knew was that the girl seemed frustrated, and she was at Chie's academy. It was kind of her job to take care of the area.

Alright. So I can teach apparently five techniques at the same time. That's why I grouped those five together, and taught kai by itself. Save who you make a korabo contact with, because once you hit D-ranked you can cash in on the D-ranked mission, "Make a Friend."

Takumi would allow Chie to lead the way out of the student's path. The two of them would eventually reach a lounge like room for the staff. Takumi assumed this is where she wished to chat. Takumi would enter, seating himself on the lounge chair directly across from the one Chie would take. He would sit properly, hands placed near his knees and postured upright. " Mother? I have no use in seeing a woman who declared me inferior." he said cynically. He shook his head. " I didn't come here for her. I came for you, dearest sister." his words were smooth now, moving away from talk of his mother. His posture changed, leaning in on his elbows inward, signaling interest on involvement.

" I require something that I would not bother mother with. The Arcane casting ability. It seems that with the research I'd done I was still not able to completely master the art." He paused, smiling calmly. " The second involves my latest endevor. I require all your notes on teaching methods. It would seem the Kogarashi Institue I founded in Gimangakure has quite the abundance of techniques scrolls to be taught but noone talented enough to convey them to new minds. As much as I would enjoy your teaching talents in my facility....I find it unlikely you would move from the village."

Shinsei hated chilren. So the thought of working with one -- for a "korabo" nonetheless -- visibly stifled him into what appeared to be a drop of his lips before a sweeping, bitter bite; a crumbled and childish expression that audibly yelled I don't want to do that, in a voice one could only imagine to be very... pouty.

Clearly, he was not the most immature among them, despite being the eldest of all the students.

"...Sensei," he called her, reluctantly, visibly cringing as he used the term. "I don't use handseals. Never have. I, uh..." his eyes narrowed, then broadened, as if he were confused in how to illustrate his point. He figured demonstration would likely be the more functional way, and so, he clapped his hands together and from the impact he drew a liquid blade from his palm, drawn back to his sides.

No seals, no hassle -- just the meeting of skin against skin, though even gestures were applicable. Clapping was perhaps the more dramatic among his methods.

He supposed he would have to simply... clap and hold the motion, synchronizing his chakra with Yoshiro's? He immediately looked to the child and offered him a snide, repulsive manner as if the young Oni had previously excreted diarrhea on the floor, and the scent still clung to his unwashed clothes.

"Alright," he whispered. "I guess we can try regardless." He certainly wasn't going to learn the seals. That was a disruption to his natural way of life -- using chakra, and jutsu, through gestures and then disrupting that comfortable flow with the induction of handseals into the mix? That was . . . strange, and difficult to conceptualize.

He felt that it would force him to re-learn the way in which he drew chakra and moved it, and ultimately, he did not wish to make the volatile attempt.

But he did attempt to mimic what he witnessed before, observing the demonstrations offered to him by his instructor, and following her words. Kai was the expulsion of Genjutsu energy through intensive, internal focus, likely once a Genjutsu had been recognized within one's system through a full blunder on a shinobi's suspension of disbelief. He shut his eyes, as he often did, and imagined the thick mire of chakra forced through his system -- then cleaned by a quick, jaded, release; a vacuum that lead it all to the exterior, a place that could not harm a shinobi's mind.

And then he replicated the motion, and did so fully himself, and... it seemed correct. [Kai, Learned]

What came after was, of course, Kage Bunshin no Jutsu and Henge no... whatever. And Substitution, which he knew for a fact was commonly used, and to his very positive delight as he -- in all of his edgy thematic glory -- enjoyed the sight of dismembered tree stumps floating through the air, only to dramatically crash against the dull green grass.

He would start with that, of course. When he inevitably punched Yoshiro and Yoshiro had the gut-driven temerity to strike back, he would simply murder a tree and then slap him from behind. Envisioning the thought in his mind was . . . pleasant. Yes -- this was certainly the right way to go about this. Shinsei quite dramatically, as he practiced his chakra mastery and his focus, run his head into the corner of a wall. Upon hitting, rather than actually impacting his head, a <******** tree stump appeared floating mid-air surrounded by dramatic, calligraphy drawn clouds that made little sense.

But he did not sustain brain damage, so that was good. [Kawarimi no Jutsu Learned]

The next was, of course, the two techniques that she declared needed to be synchronously matched with the dunder-headed boy creature nearby. Henge no Jutsu and Bunshin no Jutsu. One seemed easier than the other, particularly since he'd already delved into it and -- relatively -- mastered it in his previous experience at the Academy, but had simply forgotten how to fully conceptualize it.

He recalled a smooth wave of chakra washing over his body, as the requirement; almost like a scan, smoothing out the edges as he recreated his own visage, at least until he could comfortably match his chakra to what appeared to be either his self-reflection or an objective, naturalist mimic of his physical form. He wasn't sure how such a projection worked, but regardless, that cool envelope of chakra consuming his body and compelling a perfect replica of himself was... not very difficult, especially with his previous delving into it.

Another Shinsei was made, though illusory, and the two Shinsei both - in tandem - made the same side-eyed, nasty gaze towards Yoshiro, this time with the smallest of sneers to hint at a possible, equally illusory, joke. [Bunshin no Jutsu learned]

And next, though perhaps not finally, he came to Henge no Jutsu. The technique in and of itself was incredibly vast, largely because it appeared to be a genjutsu. It was... anything. He did not seem to detect any particular constraint on the size or proportions of the illusion, and so for all he was concerned, he could turn his clone into a blimp-sized whale and conceal himself in the illusory fat rolls while he prepared to murder everyone. The technique seemed... somewhat useful, in a cheeky and cheap way; a total and utter pointless trick, likely to only work on his fellow reject Academy Students.

But he tried it, and projected some of his ridiculous images onto the canvas that was his clone. Inevitably, he did in fact succeed after two minor burps in his 'casting'. The first attempt led astray to that of a malevolently-appearing dog, and the second was a slack-jawed super model that commonly appeared on the wooden, plastered images he'd found in Uzushio's outer edges.

The third was, of course, the true masterpiece of his creation -- the girl obnoxiously clanking her stupid nun-rod, but with her hands tied behind her back and no lips with which to scream tourettes-inspired profanities, with no rod in sight. That seemed about right. [Henge no Jutsu]

"Okay," he stated, in a droll state of half-triumph. "Yoshiro. I'll follow your lead. You clone, I transform. You're the canvas, I'm the brush. Remember that." Shinsei spread his hands apart, preparing to clap as his chakra seemed to swell and stir, his eyes focused on the other as the two prepared their - hopefully still timely - korabo.

Chie went quiet as Takumi spoke about their mother. She wished that the two of them had a better relationship. She knew that there were mistakes made in the past, but they were all adults now. Chie folded her arms as Takumi expressed interest in her arcane symbols. Since Takumi was the oldest sibling, they were supposed to be his birthright. She imagined that teaching him would be a good way to mitigate the pain of the past. She was about to agree to do so before she heard him talk about Gimangakure. She almost gagged when Takumi mentioned the possibility of her going to teach. "I would rather die than abandon my village." She said sternly. "And I do not want anything I help be ammunition for rogues. There's no good in being one. It's a life of selfishness." Chie's whole life was devoted to the education and betterment of others. To think of those who would abandon their village and live lawlessly disturbed her. It bothered her even more that her brother, who she knew was smarter than this, acted so calmly in regards to these heinous atrocities.

His sister's expression would give Takumi all the information he needed to anticipate the direction of the conversation. His demeanor never faltered as he maintained his calm and unphased expression. " I did expect as much." he said, emphasizing the 'I' of his response. He sighed, bringing his hands up as he leaned back in the chair, exposing his palms as one would do if they were surrendering to the authorities. " Now now, Chie. I don't ask for these things with the intent of spreading them to every vagrant that comes to my doorstep. No no." His hands lowered, overlapping in his lap. " My organization is nothing but a service to the ninja world. I founded this order to defeat the UHV. My associate, Belamos, personally put an end to the Presient, my hand saw the remainder of the command chain put to rest. I merely wish to strengthen my ability to guide those who have lost their path to meet a higher purpose. To be at the ready to stop a threat before it reaches the civilian world." His plea would be earnest enough. That WAS the reason Kogarashi was originally founded. They had fulfilled the purpose of the organization. He DID desire to strengthen his members...and of course. His teachings would only belong to his members, learning techniques would be up to the individual who purchased copies of the scrolls held there. He would not be bothered with teaching rogues who came looking for scraps.
