raining_lavender_knight I don't know if someone's said this already, but Crown Duel(and Court Duel) by Sherwood Smith really reminded me of Tammie's books. I really liked that book. Mrs. Pierce gave it a really good review too.

The Stravaganza series by: Mary Hoffman is pretty good.
It's pretty low reading level but I like reading the Echorium Sequence Series by: Katherine Roberts.
And i'm currently reading the Song of Ice and Fire series by: George R.R. Martin. It's really good so far.

Oh Gods, yes. He's awesome! A little mature at times, but not all " burning_eyes ".

I need new book ideas. I own a vast amount of books and I fear I've read them all.

I just got the first Wheel of Time book from the library. Haven't started reading it yet, though.
I agree that Sabriel, Lirael, and Abhorsen by Garth Nix are very good. I just finished reading them.

The Young Wizards series by Diane Duane is pretty good.
I also enjoyed the books Graceling by Kristin Cashore and A Curse Dark as Gold by Elizabeth C. Bunce.
Not sure if Goose Girl by Shanon Hale has been suggested but that's a good book as well.
On a side note Tammy herself said that Graceling was a really good book. Here's the review she left for it.
"Here's a WOW of a book! Seeing half-wild Katsa learn humanity as she battles soldiers, storms, and her own obsessive nature--I HAD to know how it ended!" --Tamora Pierce

Ah! I was just about to post Graceling... emo
Oh well. I'm rather enjoying "The Stowaway" by R.A. and Geno Salvatore.
And in case you're wondering, yes this is THE R.A. Salvatore. Geno is his son, and R.A. is helping him write his first book...
If that doesn't inspire an "Awwwww..." moment, then you are a soulless heathen. xp

I'm suggesting all of Patricia C. Wrede's books, the Mediator series by Meg Cabot, and Gail Carson Levine's books. The Great Good Thing by Rodrick Townley is also a good. It's a very orginal book... about a book. Uglies by Scott Westerfield is also wonderful.

Alan the Great Magelette Have you read the Wheel Of Time series? No. Is it good? It's a great epic, but the author died while finishing the last book. crying I think the publisher is getting someone to take his notes and write it, but I don't have all the details.
