It was sad that Donny had forgotten all about his relationship with Cami for a brief moment as he was in the presence of his old love but as he was escorted out he came back into it and he could tell Cam was hurt and mad. Donny bit his lip and walked close to her. He had to make up with her. She was his only for sure on this island. Donny knew for sure she'd always be on his side and he needed that.
When they got to the empty house he looked around. It was a pretty nice house and it had running water which was exponentially better than the republic would have them believe they had. When Cami said she would tie the shower upstairs Donny shrugged. "We could save water and shower together." He pseudo teased. He was serious. He didn't want to shower around here alone. Especially not on the same floor as the two that really didn't trust him.

Piper could feel her cheeks redden when Donny mentioned pink being her color. She mumbled a thank you, despite Derrick making a huge a** of himself, she followed him out the door. She threw the door open to find him close by, a joint hanging between his lips. Piper walked over to him, took the joint from his mouth, and hit it herself, then sighed as she blew the smoke out. "What the hell was that?" She snapped, hands on her hips. "You don't even know him and you seem to think you have the right to call him out? He's not a ******** p***y. Who knows what he went through to find me." She rolled her eyes, taking the joint again after he hit it.
"I'm sorry." Piper bit her bottom lip after exhaling. "I just. I didn't expect this. I don't understand why he's here. Or why she's here. And I don't get why they're here if they're together. Why the hell would he come looking for me?" Usually, Piper kept her thoughts to herself. But she felt like she was spinning a little out of control.
"I know we don't talk. I know we aren't... close. We don't do intimate. So, I'll spare you the details." She sat down on the sandy ground beside Derrick, her legs pulled up to her chest. She rested her head on the tops of her knees with a sigh.
What the hell was she going to do? And now she was responsible for them too!

Cami had just begun to walk away when Donny replied, "We could save water and shower together." She stopped mid-step, her face instantly turned crimson red.
"Oh." She squeaked, turned on her heels, and looked him over. The thought teased her mind, why now? He just saw Piper and he wanted to shower with her, was he serious? Was it some revenge tactic because he knew she was sleeping with someone else? But Cami smiled and nodded. "I was hoping you'd say that." She giggled, made a cute, but silly face at him, then hooked her free arm through his. "Lead the way, Donny." She grinned, her bright eyes twinkling up at him.

Somehow Derrick knew Piper would follow him. However he was a bit shocked when she took the join right out of his mouth. <******** that, Piper. He brought his girlfriend to come find you. His girlfriend. That just screams user." Derrick was livid and it was displayed all over his face. He gets walked on by Gray daily, then this guy comes in and thinks he can have his hands all over Piper. It pissed him off to no end.
After they both had a moment of silence and relaxed a little she apologized. He listened to her intently. Just wiping his mind of any comebacks and let her vent. Until she got to the not close part. He shook his head. "Wait, wait, wait. Friends with benefits means just that. We are friends. I'd be lying to you if I said I wasn't becoming very....loyal to you, Piper. Just because I find it hard to care doesn't mean I don't have my exceptions." He passed her the last couple hits and relaxed."You can tell me anything and I can promise you that it won't leave us." Well at least he wouldn't tell. You never could tell who was listening around here. Though the biggest eavesdroppers left with the newcomers. "And can I just say I found it right to insult that boy. He was flirting with you right in front of his girlfriend with no shame or apology and that rubbed me the absolute wrong way."

Donny knew the prospect of some sort of intimacy would bring Cami back up and he was happy to do it. He chuckled when she got a little flustered but she turned around and accepted his offer. He took her free hand and lead her up the stairs to the bathroom. It took a second to find it but once he was there he closed the door and grinned at Cami. He set both of their things down on the toilet and turned on the water to get it warmed up. "You know your parents wouldn't approve of this." He teased as he pulled off his dirty shirt. He chest was streaked with "I haven't taken an actual shower in weeks" grime and he was just in need of some serious cleansing. "I'll tell you what. This is going to feel so freaking amazing." He pulled off the rest of his clothes before turning back to Cami. "Do you need me to help you with yours too?" He asked with a cute smile.

Piper was honestly shocked into silence for a moment as Derrick reacted to her. She opened her mouth to reply, paused, then did the same thing again before hitting the joint once more. She sighed when he went on about Donny again, flirting with her. "Oh stop. You're just jealous." She laughed, lightly. She hadn't really meant to say it, but now that she had, she didn't regret it.
"Donny's the reason I left the republic. Sure, I grew up different and all that. But I met Donny, and somehow the doctors had made a tattoo for me that looked just like his. Almost spot on. And when he saw it... It was all over from there. I couldn't tell him it was fake, Derrick. I loved him." She bit her bottom lip, then rested her back against the tree they sat beneath. "You know how it works over there. If they're together, it's because they match Dare. They match. They're meant to be together." The words almost caught in her throat, but she managed to get them out without sounding too upset.
"So, no. He shouldn't flirt with me. You're right. He clearly dragged her with him for a reason. What girl in their right mind would follow him to find his ex, knowingly?" She scoffed, looking over at Derrick.
"Thanks, though. For protecting me. It's sweet." She placed her hand on his thigh, squeezing gently. But she didn't remove her hand right away..

Cami followed him upstairs quickly, they closed the door behind them, and he was smiling at her with her back to the door. He started stripping and she started the shower, to get the water warm. "No, they wouldn't." She looked at his body, dirty, and glorious. She bit her lip, taking her shirt off on her own before he asked to help.
"It's all going to feel amazing." She grinned, nodding. "I'd like that." They helped each other strip down before getting under the hot water together, sighing in unison. Cami looked up at him, as the steaming water ran over her pale, naked skin. All thoughts of him fawning over Piper faded away as her hands found the soap, lathered up, and began to ran over his dirty skin. She smiled up at him as her hands ran over his muscles, cleansing and massaging his skin.

Derrick rolled his eyes and shrugged. "Yeah so? I'm allowed. We have constant, amazing sex. So I'm a little peeved he's trying to take it away." He semi teased. It was a little more than just the sex but just because they were getting a little deeper didn't mean he was willing to admit it just yet.
He listened as she explained her connection to Donny and how she didn't know Cami but they were meant to be together. He bit his lip and contemplated how much to give away of his own self. "I do know how it works there. I also know how flawed the system is. I know people can fight it. I know they are here which means they aren't meant to be because we have no rules of that nature here. I know he complimented your bra. I know he looked at you way more intensely than he looked at her." He sighed and put his hand over hers on his thigh.
"What me and Twitch observed about Cami is she is fierce when she's threatened but otherwise very diplomatic and people pleasing. She will say yes to anything so long as it keeps people's spirits high. Yes man of sorts." He looked over at her and nodded. "I'll protect you always. I've become quite attached I must say."

When they were all undressed and in the shower it was amazing and it felt delightful to be under running water again. It was a bonus that he had Cami's hands allover his body. "I don't know why I didn't think about bringing you in here earlier. You do a lot better job of cleaning than I do." He laughed and closed his eyes just focusing on her hands. Which made something in his gut stir a little. They didn't have very long before they had to go back down to go shopping. But they could take a little break for a long make out session. Maybe something more. He smiled and opened his eyes to put some soap on his hands. "You ready to get clean?" He asked before beginning to wash her beautiful body. Making sure not to leave any part out he lathered her all up and then stepped closer to her. Leaning down he kissed her softly and with care. One hand on her hip the other on her cheek.

His hand covered hers and she smiled down at it. It was comforting, and things weren't like they were the night before or any time before that. They were connecting, it felt nice. She laughed lightly. "Yes. He did compliment my bra. Which was a little wrong considering he has a girlfriend literally with him. But he thought I was the one once. I tricked him, let him believe it. Then I dropped this bomb on him that I'm the outcast. I'm the one without a tattoo. Even you, the biggest rebel around, has a tattoo tying you to them." She sighed, even though she had added one piece of ink since her arrival... Which she had not shown to anyone. Except Dare. But that's only because he'd seen all of her.
Under her chest, just beneath her breast rested her first chosen tattoo, it read Sometimes it lasts in love, but sometimes it hurts instead.
Piper stood up, holding her hand out for Derrick to follow her. "Maybe you're right. I mean, I ended up with having no soul mate, so what does that say for their so called system?" She chuckled, shrugging. "And we're here now, so that's what matters." He stood up, standing over a head taller than Piper. She stood on her tippy toes, resting her weight against him, she kissed Derrick on the lips, gently. "Consider me attached too." She took his hand, starting to walk away. "We have a party to prepare for, lets get home." She tugged on his hand, then let him lead the way home.

Cami giggled at his compliment. "I try, you know. You just don't give me enough credit!" She turned so he could wash her back, she relaxed against his front with her back, letting water run over both of their bodies. Eventually he spun her around to face him, bringing her lips to his. One non-soapy hand touched her cheek, and she was stumbling backwards... He pressed against her to kiss her fully, she was all his in this moment. Cami's thoughts were lost, all worries thrown away. She was breathing heavily, breathing him in. Everything was hot, her body trembled. Their lips broke just enough for her to moan, "I want you..." Her hands slid down his body, stroking just over his junk... But not actually grabbing at it.

The stone faced Derrick did have a heart. It was small and wasn't shown often but it was there. "I know personally the failures of the system. Just like you. Which is why it needs to come down." He kissed her back without a thought and held her hand all the way home. "You know. I fight so hard for the revolution because I feel so bad sometimes. I abandoned someone out there that was supposed to be my 'soulmate'. They are gonna die without a match if I don't free them." That's as deep as they had ever gotten with anyone. He'd never shared his fears or his personal regrets ever. Though he may have told Piper some he wasn't even close to telling her all. And he didn't think he ever would be. No matter how close he ever got to a person he always told himself to keep his friends close and his heart closer.
"You're gonna have to pick out my clothes for this shindig. And I'll make some pre party nachos that I promised you last night."

Donny swallowed the hard lump of hesitance that had formed in his throat and nodded. "I want you too, Cam." He said pushing her up against the shower wall. He knew he shouldn't be thinking right now. He needed to just turn his brain off so he could be intimate with this girl who was his guarantee. His one for sure at true happiness. But his brain wouldn't click over. So he pushed on with thoughts rushing through his head at a mile a minute. Donny pressed his body flush against hers and kissed her harder and more intimately before moving to kiss down her neck, biting every so often. "You're really beautiful, did you know that?" He whispered between kisses.

Piper smiled at the consent he gave in opening up to her. She squeezed his hand tight. "That's pretty noble of you, you know." She had never thought of it that way, probably because... "I guess I don't really have that problem. Unless there's another no tattoo having person out there, then I suppose we'd default together." She shrugged. "But the whole thing seems... wrong to me. One soul mate? One person made for one person out of the billions of us there are? All indicated by some marking at birth? It just seems a little, well. Restricted." She hadn't started thinking that way until she arrived here, though. She used to spend her time wishing she was normal and like everyone else she'd fall into a category, fall in love with the right person. The one. But why just one? Why couldn't you feel love for more than one person throughout your lifetime? "If you only ever love one person, if there's only one, I guess I'll be as alone as the girl you left out there."
Piper and Derrick walked in silence until they entered the house. "I'd be happy to. Can't have my date looking shabby, now can we?" Piper giggled as she raced up the stairs to their rooms. Hers first, then his. She grabbed their outfits, laid his out for him, then hid away in her bathroom while he whipped up nachos. When she came downstairs, all done up and ready, she could smell the nachos wafting through the house. Piper, dressed in a bright pattern, with the accent color being pink, walked into the kitchen clapping her hands. Her high heels clinked against the linoleum, and she giggled. "It smells freaking amazing in here." She walked over to Derrick, all done up and smelling like dancing waters body spray and lotion, she kissed him on the cheek. "I laid out your outfit on your bed. I'll try to save you some nachos." She laughed as she scooped one into her mouth, dripping cheese sauce onto the corner of her mouth.
