It was more an I'm-Watching-You sort of glare. Keionx looked away as Etsali waved. She would not forgive, but she would accept.
“Ah! Yes! Challenging oneself is the route to greater ability and power!” she boomed, agreeing. She put her own load onto the wagon and stood, confidently and proudly, “Thou hast an admirable attitude! I approve!”
She gave him a friendly clap on the arm. “Then let me show thee a trick to carrying pipes!” she walked over to the pile. “You must balance them on your shoulder, not scoop them in your arms...” she said, picking up a pipe to show him, “And lift with thy legs, not thy back.” She demonstrated, exaggerating, before carrying the pipe to the wagon.
“And when thou art ready to place it atop the pile...” she slotted it neatly into a space, “Thou simpliest push it, like so...”
Simpliest...? Was that even a word? For a brief moment, Keionx was uncertain. Sometimes, in her rush to sound knightly and noble and awesome and heroic, she made up words that weren't quite right.
She decided to roll with it.
She turned back to Ephias. “Thou try.”

Today's Activity— Recruiting
Vulpin hitched a ride on Slyfoxhound and ran through the city, passing out flyers to everyone within reach. Yes, this plan was foolproof. The key to success wasn't waiting for trolls to pass him by, the trick was coming to them! They seemed impressed by his riding skills, too. He could convince his lusus to perform a few tricks, after all the woofbeast was quite the showoff himself.
At the end of the day, Vulpin was all out of flyers. A feeling of pride swelled in his internal air sacs and he gave his lusus a good pat on the head. When no one was looking, he gave the lusus a good tummy rub as well.
"Well, thank you, lowblood." Frossa seemed slightly taken aback by Cerise's compliment; she had in all honesty expected some sort of blood hue induced wall-destruction feud. Frossa had to admit the redbloood wasn't too bad at the whole destruction thing either- but naturally, she'd never confess such a thing aloud.
Frossa licked her lips at the mention of food. "That might be one of the most agreeable things I've ever heard a lowblood say," she commented with a flip of her drills, smashing her flail weakily against the battered wall she had been working on. Her energy was draining fast...

After her last big oops, Luxara had been put on construction duty for a night. At the very least, it would give her some time to think over her next big move.
Unfortunately, she got a little TOO caught up in her thoughts- as she was hammering away, she smacked herself right in the thumb! Plenty of loud cussing ensued.
Stagdad was, frankly, scandalized at such language.

Tamiya wandered through the base, putting up her last posters. The experience had so far been very inspiring for her -- spreading the word of her faith and assisting in the reconstruction had filled her with righteous spirit. But, she had heard word of the rebels. Tamiya yearned to put her node sniffer right into the thick of things. She wandered into the analytics quarter and did a double-take.
"Sinter?" She breathed. Her pump biscuit squirmed. Both of her companions! Here! She let out a porcine squeal and scrambled up to him, her geta clacking against the floor. "You are here! Are you... Ordering the papers?"
If there was one thing that the purpleblood knew about Sinter Heilig, is that he loved to keep things in their rightful place. He was a troll she could trust.
"I was considering selecting a lead from the intelligence squad to get seedflapping nasty out in Old Hemisect, perhaps with an associate of mine who I will introduce to you. What do you have for me?"
Field-work was what Tamiya desired. Whatever the scoop was that Sinter Heilig had, she'd take the files and run with it until justice was served. Perhaps they'd make a fine team!

Cerise - Demolition (17 ) "We should get something to eat then! Together! After we finish this though..." Cerise said, vaguely motioning to the walls they were destroying. She wasn't sure what kinda food would be in the camp, but she figured it had to be pretty decent if they planned on feeding it to the highbloods. Hopefully it wasn't segregated.
Eostre put down her maps for a moment. She'd just check out Tierte really quick, all nice and spy-like. Sneaking her way around and covertly watching her! It'd be no problem at all to a seasoned spy like herself.
She could find out anything. She decided to spend her time gathering more materials... anything that could be a makeshift weapon for when the highbloods attacked was good. But mostly the ropes. No one suspected it... And she liked the way it felt in her hands. Like it belonged.

With the presence of Keionx at the construction training site and the ever looming threat of boredom, Etsali decided to try her hand at Intelligence. So there she was, walking through Old Hemisect with Keeper! She was supposed to be looking for signs of rebel activity, but couldn't stop being distracted by other things. There was a lot of interesting stuff lying around this old place!
Sinter was having a slow night. He'd been making considerable progress in his studies all week, though, so he wasn't feeling too bad about letting himself take a break.
He arranged the papers in his work space idly. Re-alphabetizing and dusting away eraser shavings was a pleasantly mindless task. Upon browsing through his collection of maps, Sinter couldn't help but let his mind wander to thoughts of the alleged rebels staking out the city. While still a child, Sinter was also a redblood. He knew the system was stacked against most of the population, and the rebels had more than enough reason to be fighting their oppressors. Unfortunately their motives didn't matter to the empire. Sinter knew in the pit of his bile sack, that whatever was coming to the rebellion would be swift and resolute.
Dwelling on such thoughts made Sinter queasy. They had their methods of getting ahead, and Sinter had his. He filed away his paperwork and left to go eat lunch. ]

Ephias was hesitant, but he followed Keionx's instructions. To his surprise he lifted the pipe with relative ease. It was still heavy—there was no doubt about that—but he was not completely crushed by it. “It... it works! Th-thank you!” he stammered. This was infinitely better than having her simply carry pipes for him. He was being productive!
In no time at all, the two had cleared the rest of the pipes. When their work was complete Ephias turned to the orangeblood. “Thanks again for your help. I'm going t-to go take care of my other duties, but if I see you around I...” He trailed off. It felt weird to ask for more help. “Er... well, don't be afraid to s-say hi,” he finished lamely.

It seemed, unfortunately, that the sight of fins made the landdwelling residents of Old Hemisect City only more reclusive - Dictys was having trouble finding residents who hadn't already shown up at the meeting that were also willing to talk to em. That was probably stupid, of course: ey could quickly note down the names to be handed off to the intelligence division. The rebels could be weeded out in no time!
But even those who did talk to him looked away shiftily. Dictys narrowed eir eyes. This did not seem promising, and it didn't at all bode well for Alternia's future. They just had to return to the stars, and Dictys refused to sit on the sidelines when ey could be hurrying true progress along. "Have you no ambition? No love for the glory of your siblings-in-arms?" ey ranted to anyone that'd listen. In eir opinion, anyone not already working wasn't zealous enough about the Alternian cause. And yet ey had to weed through them: it was the only way to impede that impetuous rebellion's probably parallel efforts.
