Kettil growled over at Piper as she left. There was a look of disapproval, "I'M TELLIN' YER MUM AND DAD," he shouted after her threateningly.
That's right. He'll tattle.
Not really. He'll probably forget.
He was still grumping a bit when Freya suddenly spoke up and then suddenly all the grump flew out of him, especially after her head rested on his shoulder. "Yeah...I guess," he mumbled lowly.
Kettil didn't care that he and Freya were doing all sorts of things in private. He just simply didn't want his cousin (or future children) to get hurt.

As Nahm hurried off to retrieve Roch and the first band, Enzo gave Thack another wink and a tip of his hat before sauntering to the stage just as the music started to come to an end. He gave a sudden clap to test the mic before turning it into a smooth gesture to the side, " Well, well, well what a fine lookin' bunch of swingers we got out here tonight, all dolled up and ready to go! And WHAT a night, ladies and gentlemen, let's give it up for our Student Council that crafted this marvelous mayhem for you all!" He allowed a pause for the appropriate applause, giving his own clap (as several rats all wearing little drummer suits about his ankles cleaned their whiskers, glanced up at him, and promptly began clapping as well) before continuing, " I know I'm excited to see what sorta' swanky surprises they have in store for us," He checked the schedule Amrita had provided him before glancing to see if they had finished setting up yet, " But to start us off, I hope you cats is ready to get your grooves on for some SOUND! Introducing Amityville's very own, BLIP!" He hesitated, checked the list again before correcting himself, " B.L.P.!" Audience sufficiently worked up, the rest was up to the band. Enzo clapped his hands with a grin as he slunk backward off stage.

Roch grabbed the mic. "Good evening, boils and ghouls, we hope you're enjoying this lovely breezy night at the greatest show on Halloween," he said, his fingers gripping the mic in a way that said he was very familiar with it.
"We are BLP. What's that stand for? What do you think it stands for?" he asked them with a wicked grin. "Right now, lookin' at so many gorgeous ladies--I'd say it stands for Black Lace Panties."
He slung his guitar forward. "For the first act--we've been asked to take on any challenge you're willing to toss at us, boils and ghouls, and it's first come, first serve, so tell me, Amityville--what can BLP do for you?"
[First one to quote me with a song gets it--unless its the chicken dance or it gets to 9AM without any requests!]

Though it was her second year, this was her first Prom, and Poke was feeling just a tad bit on the nervous side. If only because she had been scheduled to help out with with the DJ'ing side of things and whatever else they would need help with. It was a honor though, and one she would take it seriously and do the best job she could. But it still meant using that pain in the a** system with all the buttons, and she still had no idea how it worked.
That just left the outfit, and she had a fine time of trying to find something to wear to the prom. Because she wasn't wearing a jacking dress to a DJ booth. The dragon eventually decided on a black pirate outfit. Because pirates were totally a circus thing.
Adjusting the bandanna on her head (and making sure her horns weren't ripping it), she walked through the entrance and took a moment to admire the decor of the circus tent. The student council really knew how to throw a good show. In the distance she heard Enzo already on stage introducing one of the first acts, so she waltzed off to take a gander at Roch's band to see how they did. It would be interesting to see how they would do this, as it took ages for her to learn how to just once song on the drums. Being able to take requests on the fly meant that had a lot of talent to spare.

His attention switched back when someone came on the stage. Oh! That's Roch! He looked great tonight, same for everyone. He giggled a little for the reaper's humor. Where's Terra? Free song picking session huh? That's a great chance to encourage the witch. Raising up his gloved hand, AJ called out his answer. " I guess, BLP would stand for Boils Love Pastries?" He grinned charmingly and a bit mischievously to the Band on stage. His pick was originally sung by female, so it would be a challenge?

Millie had wandered back to the main tent. It was now full of students instead of quite empty as she had found it before. She was supposed to meet someone... Eldrid? She hoped that was the right name. Wandering around the crowd, she searched for the face she had only seen in the hallways. Having some company to walk around prom with would be fun. Nerpin Sorry, got dragged to bed last night before I could finish RP stuff ;_; I *think* we've not had a class together yet?

Roch blinked. He looked at Nahm. He looked at the band. "I... got nothin," he admitted off the mic. "Nahm, who the jack is Hannah Spontana?"
This... wasn't looking very good.

"Ghoulie pop," Nahm whispered back. "We can probably do it - you mighta heard it on the radio once or twice, chord progression's pretty simple," and he hummed the first measure. Not his style nor his preferred genre, but then again, that was the risk you took when you took requests at an event. "Might be good for a laugh if I pitch my voice up."

Seiji had arrived not long after the rest of the band, but he hadn't showed up alone. There was a ghoul on his arm, though it would be a toss up as to whether she would be scowling, or smirking. Either equally likely. Currently he was whispering in her ear, murmuring a soft compliment on how stunning she looked in her attire. A magician and his lovely assistant. With a grin he gave her cheek a soft kiss, then released her hand, letting her go to torment unsuspecting first years, or hover near the wall. Whatever her dark heart desired. He had other duties at the moment, and he hurriedly joined Roch on stage, clapping the reaper boil on the back and grinning, first at him, then out into the slowly growing crowed. Withdrawing a pair of dark drumsticks from his back pocket, he twirled them between his fingers as he waited for a challenge to come there wait. They didn't have to wait long. Dark eyes widened briefly before the ghost let out a bark of laughter and moved to situate himself behind his drums. "Well, you asked for it, Roch." He snorted, chuckled again, then waited. matisha Consider yourself summoned to Prom! ((And now I have to go to work.. NPC him around as needed until I get back!))

"Pitch it high, boil," Roch said to Nahm, giving up on making a badass first impression on anyone listening. He brought his fingers to his guitar--grinned back at Seiji-- And started to play. As well as he could considering he'd never heard the song a day in his life.

Nahm took a couple of deep breaths, adjusted his scarf around his neck, and waited for his cue - then began singing in a rather squeaky falsetto. He sounded a bit funny, but he was at least on key.

Poke had to try really hard not to burst out laughing at the group. Though the squeaky singing voice was making that all the more difficult.
It was a good try. Even if the song wasn't her usual genre.

"YEAH NAHM! You're such a good sport!" Amrita laughed openly, clapping for his attempt at singing like a ghoul. She took a very careful few steps closer to Poke, grinning at the ghoul's obvious attempts to keep her giggles contained.
"How are you doing, Poke? Nervous yet?"

With Alexander helping to run the dance Yin was actually meeting him there, and he was not late. He simply did not want to be exactly on time. They always seemed to leave early, and Alexander would probably be busy anyways, so he arrived precisely when he meant to. Which was after it had started. By just a little bit. He tugged a bit self-consciously at his outfit, reminding himself that black was also decent camouflage, though with his green scarf he seemed to be wearing part of two entirely different sets, and let his eyes roam the room, unfamiliar strains of music in his ears. Yin caught sight of Alexander by the refreshments, not entirely unsurprising, and made his way over to him, sidling up next to him and nudging him with his arm to get his attention. "Good evening Alexander." He looked in the direction that Alexander was looking in when he approached and saw Miss Belladonna, waving a hand to give her a wave as well. Seussi Dude just make up what Yin is wearing I was trying to get a post in before I'm gone for several hours. AyeAvast Ahahaha rping. How do I do this again?

Nahm grinned out at the slowly gathering crowd as the song came to an end. They had, at least, gotten a little applause for being good sports. "Thank you, th - ahem," he interrupted himself, and dropped his voice back to its normal, deeper register. "Thank you." The next song was one they'd agreed upon beforehand, and rather more their usual style; instead of asking for another request immediately, Nahm nodded to the rest of the band, and they swung into the song, more smoothly than the previous one.
