"Still looking for your dad after all this time, Vicky? Such a shame we had to meet this way, you really are a poorly prioritized use of talent."
The name makes her throat close up in anger, and Vicky wants to say 'don't say my name, only two people ever deserved to say my name and neither of them were ever you,' but the only thing she can do is tighten her grip around Hopper's throat. He winces, but she isn't pressing yet; she's still trying to make sure that this is really happening, and despite the straight expression she keeps Vicky hasn't felt this overwhelmed since the first time she got blood on her hands--
"Rose, get out of there!" Ivy's voice fills her right ear with a strange sense of urgency, loud and scared, "Hopper, he's--he's done something--"
"Tell me everything you know," Vicky demands instead, ignoring the voice that has began to rapidly speak in french. Her expression is cold, heartless. What is enough to make other men quiver in fear doesn't have Hopper reacting at all, his brown eyes still staring head on into hers, "We may have been friends once, but I won't hesitate to kill you."
She doesn't want to say his name, doesn't want Hopper to realize she's lying. Vicky knows she can squeezes his throat as hard until he passes out, can murder evil men and enemies without batting an eyelash, but there is still a part of her that wants to believe that Hopper is still an ally. She wants him to laugh in her face, quiver in fear, admit to her that he's just infiltrating the other team. 'Just kidding,' Hopper would begin in that dry tone that he was known for, rolling his eyes. 'I've been in the same organization as you and the others for a while now. God Rose, I'm hurt you never realized.'
Vicky shoves the thoughts away, focusing on calming her nerves. They're on different teams now, and while it's been a while Vicky knows Hopper. She knows how he'll react. After all, they've been in eachother's presence for so long that a few years isn't really going to make a difference, right?
She's wrong.
Vicky senses it at the exact same moment she feels her blood run cold. Hopper doesn't do any of the things that Vicky would ever guess he would do.
He does the one unpredictable action outside of Vicky's wide spectrum of guesses, the one thing that Vicky hasn't seen him do since graduation.
He smiles.

VERY SORRY FOR NOT FINISHING THOSE TWO REQUESTS EARLIER!!!! I am bored and procrastinating from hw, and also this place is dead, so I might draw future!au stuff? uwu there doesn't seem to be a lot of it around, surprisingly. uhh, as explanation for the last picture -- everyone graduates but some people disappear, hopper is one of them and he cuts off contact with everybody
-- most people join the school's organization, or at least spy organizations alianced together
-- hopper joins the opposition aka a new organization that is slowly on the rise
-- Vicky discovers they have a huge hand in the disappearance of her dad
-- she's assigned a mission on investigating the place
-- rest is history I guess uou)b
I was just listening to a few songs and brainstorming and BAM SUDDENLY VICKY CHOKING HOPPER It was supposed to be more symbolic and have them with blanker faces // sardonic smiles for the both of them I guess but then I started writing in my head and I was like AWW s**t SON I GOTTA LEGIT WRITE THIS and here we are there are millions of mistakes but #yolo hard

No, but really. That was a nicely done picture of Rose squeezing the life out of Hopper~ And very touching story as well biggrin

 MORE AU STUFF BECAUSE I REALLY DON'T WANT TO WRITE THIS ESSAY COUGHSSSS I had no idea what to do for Avery // my grasp on her character is s**t so yeah. I imagine her hair grows annoyingly faster when she gets older and since she's at work a lot she doesn't really take care of it so it gets a bit long before Brook attacks her with a pair of scissors or something. :'D ty for the comments I'm surprised at the feedback LOLOL coughs hard more to come?
