"Oh... just wondering if you do personal armaments... I guess you could say customized or one of a kind weapons.." The man said, as he took down his hood, exposing a older slightly stress wrinkled face with a scar on his neck going across the front.
Taking a few steps forward standing casually looking around the room still at some of the other weapons lying about.

Nick nods enthusiastically and directs the man to a rack of several unique weapons that his brother had created over the years. Some were copies of orders for display purposes, and some were made just because Mathias had been bored. Nick leans on a post and gestures to a few of them. "No matter what you want, my brother can make it," he boasts. "He can even make more quirky weapons such as ring blades, if you're interested in that sort of thing."

"These are nice, but I was rather looking for distance weapons... I guess, oh, a projectile weapon... are you familiar with a bow or crossbow... maybe arrows?... or what do you maybe have involving explosive powders?" The man asked, his eyes lighting some as he looked at some of the other swords.

The instant the "customer" says the phrase "explosive powders," a red flag goes up in Nick's mind. This man... Knows more than the average Kunarian should about firearms... His expression remains the same as ever, however, and he continues the conversation as if nothing had happened. "Hmm, well I specialize in ranged weapons such as bows, but..." He looks at the man with a slightly raised eyebrow, as if he was trying to communicate something nonverbally. In reality, however, he's trying to gauge his reaction. "But, if you ask me, it seems like you are looking for something a little more..... Modern."
Lazarus notices the slight shift in his friend's tone that signals that something is amiss. "Just be cool, Masa. Something's off about this guy," he barely whispers, quiet enough that he was sure only feline ears would be able to hear it.

"I was wanting something with the most distance for engagement... but haha, yeah, I used to work in the mines down south, and I educated myself in Earthly powders and what not, ... then upon doing some research, I thought the best weapon would be something a little more high profile, and powerful... but I don't know the furthest engagement range that they have on average..." The man said, with a look like he really wanted to know.

"I see," Nick responds with a pensieve expression and puts his hand on his chin. "It seems to me that you're looking for a high-powered rifle, maybe a sniper rifle... One moment please." Nick turns and bends over to open the trapdoor to the room underneath, then climbs down into it to fetch something.
Lazarus pets Masa, trying to seem as nonchalant as possible while listening to the conversation between Nick and the suspicious man.

Hmm... these people aren't all that behind in tech it seems... but,...
The man smiles as Nick leaves, the man turns and looks some more at the shop and the weapons some more, poking at a flail and watching the ball and chain swing some. He gets behind a higher bench, so his waist can't be seen, he then nonchalant pulls out his pistol and quietly cocks it, then puts it back into the quick pull holster under his long coat. Before walking back into the open and standing about waiting.

Msa tenses, despite Lazarus's attempts to keep her calm. She gets a strange feeling as the man leaves and comes back. She bites back a hiss and gets ready to change at a moments notice. I have to protect Lazarus. He is very kind, she thinks as she waits and watches.

Nick eventually climbs out of the armory with a rifle tucked under one arm, which he sets on the ground as he shuts the door, then picks it up again. His senses are on high alert, and his muscles set to a hair trigger as he approaches the customer and hands him the unloaded rifle. "I'm still not completely sure what you're looking for, so here's one example. This is an M24, semi-automatic..."
As Nick lists off the features and specifications of the M24, Lazarus crouches behind the main desk and opens a secret compartment that stores Nick's prized custom pistols. He loads and cocks both of them, ready to either shoot the "customer" or throw one of the pistols to Nick if need be.

The mans eyes light up with joy almost as he sees the rifle. "Oh ho ho, yes... this looks very... oh, how do I say this... ... confusing actually... ... umm... how does it work... I see the trigger of coarse... but ... I don't know... ... I guess the question is... does anyone else have something like this, I mean... this must be the only one of its kind here... I haven't seen anything else like this here." The man smiled fascinated by the rifle. Holding it and fumbling with the stock.

Nick stares at the man for a few seconds, wide-eyed. Is he serious? Or is he just trying to squeeze more information out of me? Nick is leery to tell the man much more about his armaments, so he tries to stall by demonstrating how to load, fire, and reload the rifle.
Lazarus tucks the two revolvers inside his jacket and pulls a knife from within. Being as quiet as possible, he circles around behind the "customer" and closes in on him, ready to restrain him at the first sign of trouble, or a cue from Nick. Hopefully, he's too distracted by his acting to notice me... Here goes...

You think I don't have support... I'm not alone... The man continues watching intrigued by how the gun is operated. "Wow.... thats nice... bullets?... oh, I see... cartridges... oh?..." The man continues with the conversation.
I see what you're doing.... eh... guess I got all I can...
The man's face gets solemn and serious, as he says out of the blue in the middle of a sentence. "Kinda daft in here."
Instantly two men dive into the room through two windows, both armed in civilian local attire, and carrying MP5's. "Drop your weapons!" The men yell aiming in at Nick and Lazarus.
The man however jumps to the side in the direction of the other two, pulling his pistol out and aiming at Lazarus. "Drop et!" The true strong Brittish accent of the man can now be heard.

Masa gets scared as she sees Lazarus get the pistols, but doesn't move. She silently watches and anticipates danger. When the two men burst in, she reacts. Using the gift she usually hides, she crouches in front of Lazarus and transforms into a gaint wolf that is tall as a man from the shoulders down with pure white fur. Watching the men, she swears she wont let Lazarus get hurt.

DAMNIT is the first thought that races through Nick's mind when the man calls in reinforcements and pulls a gun on him. When a huge white wolf appears from seemingly nowhere, his hair trigger is set off and he activates the powers he had planned on surprising the assailants with from the beginning. He instantly drops to the ground with a quick wave of his arms, creating a gust of wind directed at the feet of the two closest enemies (the "customer" and one other) with the intention of tripping them.
Lazarus, seeing that Masa is covering him, makes his own move. He sidesteps around Masa just enough to throw the knife directly at the third attacker's face, then steps back behind his makeshift cover. One of Nick's revolvers is snatched and slid to him underneath Masa's legs, while the other finds itself in Lazarus's right hand. He then drops down underneath Masa and fires a few wild shots at the "customer."
Nick grabs his pistol from the ground and shoots twice at the second enemy, his own shots much more controlled and precise than his friend.

The main assailant and the right troop flip and fall to the ground, impacting hard on their chests. The third troop barely has time to react before, PLOP... the man falls to the ground backwards with a hunk of shaped metal emerging from his face.
The 'customer' attempts to get up when multiple shots ring out on his chest, shoulders, and the final round making its mark to his head.
The third troop managed to roll to the side, and have a bench between the shop locals and himself, however the cover proved false, and a round ripped through his knee, making his tactical kneel turn into a slump on the floor.
"huh... AGH!?!" The man tries to get weapon ready again, but his knee doesn't allow for it, or rather what was left of his knee. Grasping his knee as he slowly bleeds out, while holding his pistol in his other hand, he tucks himself tight in the corner behind the bench, waiting for a chance to do something to escape or get a good shot off.
