The Olive Watcher has always been herself, and she clearly does not comprehend this command. She does know this, however. Humans can be dang sneaky when they want to.
She hadn't even noticed when he got on her ship, but one of the humans who was the guardian of one of the 'players' of the game she had snuck her way into was sitting next to her in the cockpit of this ship. She was certain he had not been there when she took off.
It didn't matter much, anyway. He was here now, and she was certain he'd be a help. Her new plan was to do as much as she could to help her descendant and his team succeed.
Man, that planet in the center was a lot further away than she expected.

He closed the chat with Tuluch, Danwer would have liked to help him more, but until he woke up, that was the best he could do. He knew he should have made sure to keep those files on his computer here, but there had been too much risk of a Dersite Agent getting at his computer while he was awake.
Anyway, Canisa messaged him back while he was dictating his response to Tuluch.

Danwer was really glad Canisa wasn't mad or creeped out at him. He had to contain a happy dance when she mentioned finally meeting in person.
He then realized that Baikal had messaged him. He wasn't sure how he had missed that. Ignoring a fuschia blood... could have dire consequences. Although, he highly doubted Baikal would live up to the repuration of Alternian fuschia bloods. Which was a good thing.
--PP to CC-- PP: I have a problem. PP: /-|nd if you ask no, it's not the fact I am covered in shark blood. +hats a story for another time. He closed the chat with Baikal. The guy really had some growing to do if he had expected to lead anybody. Not that it matters much now, though.
For now, he stood up from his computer, and looked at Canisa lying on his bed. Yes, bed. Danwer did not own a recuperacoon. Sopor slime did him no good, so he'd gone for the comfort of a human mattress. When you don't dream, but wake up in another body, no amount of sleep aides can keep the nightmares and horrorterrors away. He'd tried everything.

==> Mage: Be Spades Slick.
Jack Noir cannot be Spades Slick. Although, that name does have a nice ring to it. He may remember that if he ever decides to change his name and start some kind of mafia. But right now, he was more focused on the troll lying quietly in the slime tank in front of him. This trolls horns weren't symmetrical, like the others he'd seen.
The Archagent knew he shouldn't be here. The Mage had seen to that. That damn Mage had convinced the Queen to order Jack not to enter the towers of the Heroes. But he needed to stab something. He had too much paperwork to deal with, and he hadn't been able to get a good stab in in a long time. He drew his new sword. He had gotten it due to the new uniform rules the Queen had imposed. They were.. not the worst set of rules he could imagine, but he still hated her for it. Ooooh, how he hated her. His hatred was the frozen passion of a billion frozen suns. Someday, he was going to wring her neck until she stopped breathing.
But today, today he was going to stab this damn troll. He didn't even care which one it was. He wanted to stab the Mage, but the Mage had the audacity to be awake right now. The Mage was too good at watching things for his own good.The Mage needed to be stabbed again. He was practically begging for it. Moving in on his girl and all.
What was that? No, the Archagent wasn't thinking about that right now. Just about how he was going to stab this troll in front of him SO GOOD. He was going to stab this troll until he was DEAD.
And that is precisely what he did. Honestly, he expected the troll to wake up when he stabbed him. Huh. The troll bled purple. Was that normal? The Archagent knew that the Mage bled some kind of ugly green color. He decided to chalk it up to that trolls are weird. He placed his sword back on his belt, and left the room. He doubted that troll was going to be coming back. He had stabbed it a lot. He's pretty sure there's more blood in that tank than slime now.
The Archagent stumbled to one side. He suddenly had an urge to drink copious amounts of rum. He wasn't sure what rum was, but he really wanted to know why it was all gone.

Jenn was annoyed. She really had no clue what she was doing and... What was that noise in the hallway? She was sure she was alone. Quickly, she called her fireaxe out of her strife specibus and captchaloged her laptop. Time to see what was out there.
The door swung inward with a creak, letting in three inky black creatures. One had on a very comfortable looking pants, and two were wearing leather. They came at her, baring their fangs. Okay, no, that was just not on. Jenn swung her axe at the nearest, pants-wearing one, and it burst into a bunch of oddly shaped things. Weird, but not the problem right now. She lunged at the next one to her right, the blade of her axe missing it and sticking into the wall. Both of them rushed at her, and Jenn wasn't quite sure what to do. Dropping low, she tried to slide out between them, but one's huge hand closed on her ankle.
Twisting didn't help, but yanking her body up closer to the black thing allowed her to grab it's vest in her hands. Throwing her weight back like she's seen in movies allowed her to land on the floor on her back and use the momentum toss the the thing over her head. It hit the corner of her desk and spattered into a bunch of the little colorful things. The last one tried to kick at her, but Jenn rolled away, reaching up above her to find... The axe handle! Yes! She pulled herself up from the floor and yanked it out of the wall, loving the feel of it in her hands. She threw it at the black thing clumsily (but didn't hurt herself, thank ********), and watched as it, too, exploded into bits of color.
Well. Okay then.
She put her axe back, and opened her syladex. Luckily the laptop she wanted was only valued at three rings, and her ring draw totaled up to five. She opened the laptop back up and checked her Palshouter. Two flashing windows- she replied to the one already open first.

There's absolutely no way you're getting off the top of this pillar without injuring yourself. You've spent a good while now trying to get a firm grip of the sand and climb your way down. You also scooped off an impressive chunk of sand from one side in an attempt to create a slide to take you down. Surprisingly, there isn't enough sand on the top of the tower to fill the sea beneath you. You feel your brain pleading for mercy as you try to find a solution to this predicament. But you ultimately give up the ghost on your adventure and make yourself comfortable in your tent.
The tent is definitely feeling the cold now. The cloth you were using was meant for camping in a hotter climate. Torn pieces of the tent have frozen solid and no longer move with the breeze. Because of your slide idea earlier, you've cause the entirety of the summit to slowly lean to the right. Eventually, gravity will claim your abode. But you're exhausted from all this thinking for now. Seriously. You've had to do more thinking in the past few hours then you have all week. You wouldn't have let your friends talk you into this had you known it'd involve continuous strategy. Clever bastards.
"==>Solmie: Check on the others."
You bring your piece of crap netbook into the lopsided tent. There are very few sources of entertainment up here. Might as well talk with these losers. It's not like you've got anything else to do.
You're flooded with messages the second you connect to the enigmatic wifi hotspot. Another mystery you want solved once you get down from here. Some of these characters have even personally messaged you. You decide to take it one conversation at a time.

You come to the educated conclusion that this person will never be fun to talk to. You also come to the conclusion that the only way to get this person to loosen up a bit is by harassing her. For now, however, you don't really see a reply being worth your time. If she's really stupid enough to message you again with such meaningless banter, she will deserve every bit of fun you poke at her.

First of all, what the hell is alchemy? They're talking nonsense. Throwing around stupid terms like 'fate,' 'conspire,' and 'tips.' This guy's just making no sense. You're actually going to ignore this one for the time being. He sounds rather unstable.
A rushing sound is followed by the tend tilting further to one side, almost taking your sleeping bag and piece of crap netbook with it. It's only a matter of time before the frigid sea consumes both you and your possessions. This wasn't the motion that'd make it all give way, but the tower won't be able to handle much more sand seeping away. Almost to the end of your pile. It's been a long while since you've talked with anybody outside of your annoying circle of friends. Conversation isn't really an easy activity to jump back into. Especially since you were never good at it to begin with. The last few weeks, you'd been on the road. Cruising through the Mojave desert on your way to Las Vegas. The coast was nice, but the smog of L.A. was starting to get you down. So, as usual, you dropped everything and went on a road trip. A road trip you'd really like to finish once you can figure out why you're stranded in the arctic. Asking around to see what these guys know couldn't hurt. You might as well think about it while you read your last message.
Oh man. This one must be the most pompous of all. This guy takes normal annoying manners and bumps it up to pretentious proportions. You crack your knuckles and neck, and get to work on a reply to silverPegasus

Holy ******** s**t. You are so intense. These people have no idea who they're talking to. If you told them, they probably wouldn't be able to handle it. On that note, you decide to power off. They've had enough Solmie for now. Don't want the poor things to hurt themselves.
"==>Solmie: Find a way off of this."
The tent's been sliding further then you thought. The cliffside was almost visible from the inside. You can see one of the spikes dangerously close to the edge. Good thing Rusty's propped up on the opposite side of the tent. You don't know what you'd do without that thing. The problem is, you might have to find out if you're not quick on your feet. Still, nothing is sliding out from under you. That means you've got time to find a safe way down. Behind the tent, there's asphalt bridge about seventy feet below you that could maybe be reached. That's not a jump you want to try and make though. But besides that, there's almost nothing but freezing cold seawater surrounding the pillar. There are icebergs here and there. Nothing you'd consider accessible. You decide to scout out the bridge underneath you. It's obviously manmade. Maybe there's somebody down there.
You feel the pillar shift.

The restlessness had set in a while ago. He knew it would, too. It wasn't like he was surprised, but there wasn't really anything he could do about it either. It wasn't that he couldn't just lay there for hours either, he had always been more than capable of entertaining himself- especially when he had his cell phone with him. The difference now what that he actually felt like he needed to be somewhere. Somewhere other than where he was. Nearly ANYWHERE seemed more productive than where he currently was. He had run across a few imps, and gathered a bit of grist (not that anyone would notice the difference in his now rather vast bank account thanks to Mantiprawn). He'd also answered a few messages as they came in (though, not the one he was actually hoping for). The first had been sent to edveryone, from Baikal… or, well, sort of.

Tul… hadn't been sure what to think of that situation. It was clear that it was really Baikal, but… he had absolutely no idea what the rest of it meant. Or why Baikal wasn't the one using his chat client.He had wanted to send a message, but he seriously couldn't think of ANYthing that wouldn't just complicate matters since he didn't know what was going on. The next one was actually for him, and this one he definitely knew what to do with.

He also saw a post from Kyanos to everyone, but he hadn't been trying to get a hold of him, so it wasn't a big deal. Very little else had occurred since Tuluch had sent his plea for help to Danwer. In all truth, not a great deal of time had passed, but due to a sense that he was likely missing something important by not being home, it certainly felt like a long time. He was… more than a little worried about his hive. And his belongings. Well, what was left of them, anyway.
I'm sure Sonicsprite can handle it… it's not like he's never dealt with this kind of thing before. But… I can't help but wonder if he'd know which things were worth something and needed protecting and what wouldn't.
--> HEY! BE THE BLUE BLURRY ONE!
"Woah, NOT cool! Step away from the chili dog, and no one gets hurt!"
The imp holding the half eaten chili dog in question (wait, sprites can eat?!) looked nervously at his comrade, who simply gave him a quick nod and a thumbs up. Or, well, as close to a "thumbs up" and a Dersite with very basic hands that barely qualify as hands can give. The thief looked back and Sonicsprite with a bit more confidence and proceeded to stick out his tongue. Sonicsprite looked a bit surprised, but only for a quick instant. Then he just grinned.
"Heh. Well, ok! I tried to give you a chance! Don't say I didn't warn ya!"
And then he was no longer there. The imp looked around frantically, tongue still hanging out, and tried its best not to get dizzy. The next thing it knew, it ceased knowing anything as it had been reduced to a pile of grist, sending the chili dog flying toward the late imp's former partners in crime. It smacked the lead imp in the face, making it flinch and leaving a bit of a mess, before falling into a pair of surprised hands. The imp blinked sauce out of its eyes and looked dumbly down at its food born assailantBy the time realization dawned on that shiny black face, it was far too late.
"So… thought you'd see how brave your friend could be, huh? Maybe it'd be funny to dare him to steal my chili dog? Well, I guess we can all see how that turned out for him…"
The imps looked nervously from one possible escape route to the next, but to no avail. They knew it was hopeless. Tentatively, the imp held out a very shaky hand and offered the glowing hedgehog his lunch. A very shaky hand. Well, a very shaky, very basic hand that barely qualifies as a hand. I mean, he can barely give a proper thumbs up. Another thing it can barely do is maintain a proper grip on a hot dog bun, even when steadiness isn't an issue. And this was a VERY shaky barely qualified hand.
"Well, looks like some of you have some common--!"
And just like that, the chili dog was on the floor. Upside down. Chili and sauce splattered everywhere. On a pile of broken glass. Sonicsprite just stared in the general direction of the carnage. He didn't really see it. I didn't really see much, as his eyes weren't focused. He let out a deep sigh and looked at the wall to his right.
"Right. That's how it's gonna be, huh?"
The imps were trembling as he turned to face them once more, his look of frustration doing nothing to help their nerves. At this point, they knew it was all over. They looked from each other's faces back to his and made a break for the door behind them. The three of them never managed a second footfall. Hey, it wasn't their fault. They no longer had feet. Or selves, for that matter. Meanwhile, Sonicsprite trudged back into the kitchen. However, his grumbling was interrupted by a loud noise from upstairs. "Wha-?!" He started in the direction of the stairs, but hesitated for a moment. The hot dogs were still out… and so was all the chili. If he didn't put it somewhere safe…
About two and a half seconds later, he arrived upstairs to see what had caused all the noise. The sight he took in when he rounded the corner to Tuluch's room made him slip and start to fall--

Ok, so, Baikal. Tuluch really hadn't thought of that, and after having it pointed out, he felt pretty dumb about it. Seriously, WHY hadn't he thought of it? Well, it didn't matter at this point, he just needed to do something about his ridiculous LOSTNESS attribute. Because he was only just managing to keep it at its current level. He knew that if he left Mantiprawn's clearing, the attribute would only rise even further. He'd heard plenty of stories and seen enough movies. You try to get unlost and make it worse. Almost without exception, really. So, rather than unlost himself, he messaged Baikal. Hoping Baikal would be the one who actually answered this time.

Lohi was dozing in and out of consciousness on her couch when a beep from her communicator woke her up. It woke her from a half-dream of her past reminding her of a time-locked box she had received ages ago. Instead of checking her messages, Lohi hopped up off the couch and ran to her bedroom closet to see if the box was still there.
It was. She picked it up and looked at it, noticing the timer was now at 00:00:00. Carefully she opened it, almost reverentially. Inside she found a book and what appeared to be a clock device, along with a note that read as follows:
NOTE
LOHIKÄÄRME,
This is a gift from me to you. This device has allowed me to ensure that you kids had a safe world to grow up in, so you would live to go on this adventure you are now on.
I don't truly know the nature of your adventure, but I know it is important, and know that I have done everything in my power to ensure that the people of this world survive the meteor rain that you and your friends barely escaped.
I am sorry for not being around for the last few years of your life. I truly wanted to be, but I had things I had to do. Things that were very important.
I am not sure how these will help you, but that is not for me to know. A friend of mine assures me that you will need them, and I trust her wholeheartedly.
Please, be safe, and be successful. We may never see each other again, but know that you were always in my thoughts.
Your Mother
Lohi stared at the contents stupidly for a moment, blinking ineffectively. Then she finally actually started to examine them. The book was "The Complete History of Alternia, Beforus, and Earth," a hefty tome containing, supposedly, the entire histories of all three planets and their respective peoples. Which actually sounded rather useful, she would probably read it. The other thing was, well, it basically looked like a broken clock with several buttons on it. She pushed all of them in sequence, waiting for something to happen each time, and each time nothing came of it. Definitely a broken clock. How had this clock helped her mother? she wondered. How could such a thing help her?
Lohi opened her message, finally, and gave it a quick read.

⇒ AP: Be a proper Dersite soldier.
As a proper Dersite you have been trained since birth to be a soldier who respects both authority and brutality. So far, your new and obviously not Dersite commander has showed that he has neither. He merely said go that way and then said something about taking a nap. No other commander you have ever seen has ever taken a “nap” on the job. It leads to weakness! With the sleepy eyes and the yawning! Does he not know that that’s when he gets you?! When he stabs you repeatedly and won’t stop until you’re nothing but stab wounds? You wouldn’t put it past him to stab his own eyes out if they were to become sleepy. Sleepy is merely a weakness. Or maybe... Maybe he is acting like he is showing weakness! To make it so than those unloyal in this crew of non-derse conspirators! Genius! You would have never guessed that behind that lazy exterior that you’re commanding officer was so devious. After all the perfect time to strike is when someone... is... napping... Quickly you look around to see if anyone of the conspirators has moved from their positions.
You notice that no one is in proper positions! Quickly! Count the shells!
1 shells
2 shells
3 shells... Do you even know how many turtles are on this ship?!
⇒ Ap: Remain calm and composed.
QUICKLY FLIP s**t! For the saftey of all non-turtle crew!
…
…
…
Isn’t that just you and the captain? You must act! But if you act too loudly you may disturb the Captain who may or may not be napping. But if he is napping he wouldn’t notice! But if he isn’t napping and simply waiting for the first person to walk in so he could... didn’t he have sharp teeth? That obviously leads to him being a carnivore...
He is waiting for one of the turtle crew to wander into his chambers so than he may secretly make them into a fine turtle stew and feast! It’s so obvious! With the yelling and the so called “Napping”! But what if napping is a code word for something even more vile? The plot thickens.
⇒ AP: Be the First mate.
You are now the first mate, who as of a few hours ago was once the captain of a ship. Which was sunk by the forces of evil. Or something like that. You also feel that you are completely expendable and so therefore you will remain alive for far too long.
⇒ First mate/ex captain of the turtle ship: One of these things isn’t like the others.
As the first mate and ex captain you once sailed the world and often raided other ships with your paint cannons. You are obviously the most painted Ex captain on this ship, so you have an eye like a hawk. Whatever that is. Now, anyways you’ve been playing your favorite game of “Obviously there is something different today than yesterday that isn’t a date or some form of time” but of course thats a childish game so you have kept it secret from your crew for years. But after all this time today you have discovere that you’re old crew of Turtles are all still stellar sea-men. Most of them have once again been turned upon their backs. They always make you so proud. But anyways thats normal, what really is different is that the newest and most odd recruit is standing still in the center of everything waving its arms around franticly. Odd. It wasn’t happening yesterday was it? No? You win!
As you observe it wave it’s chitinous limbs around you muse that it might be thinking that your new captain is some form of super predator planning on eating you, and something about how pots thicken over time. But you guess that thats once again simply a fabrication. I mean after all, sharp teeth means herbivore right?
⇒ First mate/Ex captain: Be the frantic recruit.
As the frantic recruit who is really the Armed Partisan you burst into action. Use those chitinous arms for something other than frantic flailing!
First you calm yourself. No reason in being frantic while you take your course of action. So you take a few step towards the closest crew member. Reach out and grab him. His blank turtle like eyes stare into your very soul, you do the only thing that comes to your highly trained mind.
You use your immense strength and throw him. Your soul is your own. They will not take it!
⇒ AP be Commanding officer.
You are now Baikal Stanom, current captain of this ship and you WERE taking a nap. You woke up a few minutes ago, read Tuluch’s message and began building his house out of the most expensive material you could find. Due to the sheer amount of it, you have decided to make him a throne out of gold. Of course you can’t physically make a throne with curves or anything, so you decided to go good old fashioned minecraft style. Gold cubes. Yes, you have begun to create a golden throne for Tuluch. Of course you have yet to tell him and you are still trying to figure out how to work the whole system. But Golden throne is definitely on the top of your list. Wiping the sleepy out of your eyes while yawning a bit you continue on your small project.
Of course that was what you were doing until a turtle came flying through your wall almost hitting you. Of course you don’t care about the turtle because it is obviously very expendable and frankly really lazy. Walking out to the deck you find that your new Dersite crew member throwing your other crew members. When it... no she, looks feminine enough. You think... Well if not whatever. Now anyways, time to stop whatever is happening.
“|)on’t throw them to far now. | just woke up.”
Nevermind, uh. Do that I guess.

She met him mid run and threw her elbow sharply into the center of his spine. The two of them collapsed onto the sandy ground and a flustered and heavily panting Malina said nothing. She reached down and held her hand palm up -- almost expectantly. The sharp frown on her face screamed bloody murder for the SOB of a lizard who made her run almost half a mile for a stupid COIN!
"Shiny... colorful... thing. I. Want. It."
She growled through her bared teeth, the almost foreign emotion making it's home among her palatte of expressions in a way the old Malina would have jokingly referred to as her "< hi-blood! face >" yet the point of mindless chatter had past it's expiration date. The old Malina was replaced with a sweating and tired Cerulean blood with a sudden urge to take what she wanted and not ask questions. This lizard was getting to her in the worst way.
It worked.
In a way, she was almost surpised to see the small hand clutching the coin reach towards her and stick the round sphere into her open hand with a silent tremor of fear. Was it for what happened to those imps earlier? Was it the hidden threat to her words, a silent promise of pain? Or was it because she asked simply and the attitude never phased it one bit? It was as hot as she was, possibly.
She pulled herself up to her feet and pocketed that coin without a word. Her lizard had walked off as she became lost in thought -- for she was no longer in a barren environment. Nor was she turned about and back at her Hive. All around her was a barrage of color and movement. Tents softly danced to the breeze of an unfamiliar wind, and similarly attired lizards walked and lurked from tent to tent. All things imaginable were held as wares placed upon simple carpets and the feel of daily living permiated the bubble around her.
She had entered a society -- a bazaar of strange lizards. In this world, she was the only of her kind around.
Her feet led her to a place of shade some distance away. An umbrella of straw clumsily put together, resting in a pot off to the side. She slumped down into the humble coolnessx of it's shade and watched the procession of quickly moving feet and livliness, and of a society that she had only just scratched the surface of.
The coin in her possession was... nothing special. She almost felt worried for a moment at her almost unwarranted hostility. The idea of maybe becoming into what her ideals were was both an invigorating and horrifying thought. The past was the past for a reason and cultures adapt to changes because of necessity. Not without purpose.
Her thoughts dragged her back around into a 180 and with her hand clutching her handheld device is what she quickly turned to.

Mako stretched out his staff, willing at it furiously. Riyu fed off of said willpower, transforming from "really long staff" to "BITCHSLAP YOU WITH THE CHRYSLER BUILDING, JACKASS" in a flash, allowing its owner to bring it down with a very satisfying crunch onto whatever-the-hell-this-thing-was.
Despite Chrysler-Building-sized-bitchslapiness, however, the beast was unfazed, merely looking annoyed at the assault. At least, he thought it was annoyed. Kinda hard to tell when it didn't have a face. Or much of anything. Hell, it was hard to look at without getting a headache.
I've-seen-enough-hentai-to-know-where-this-is-going wound up another tentacle and slammed it down toward the surviving pair of players. Both easily dodged, though they knew it wouldn't last long. Cthulu here seemed not to tire at all, while a pair of gods still seemed to eventually succumb to exhaustion, though at a much slower rate.
Useless-a** god powers.
After yet another dark blast of energy skipped across the monster's... skin? Hide? Form? Exterior? Mako suddenly felt as though he had been hit with a wrecking ball. A surprisingly gentle wrecking ball. As he landed and skipped across the ship's deck like a stone, he realized what must have happened. He tapped the stem of his glasses, standing up sharply.

Two months sinc3 my last 3ntry. A lot has happ3n3d in that tim3, so b3ar with m3- this is gonna b3 a long one.
...Who th3 h3ll am I kidding, no on3 is going to r3ad th3s3 things but m3.
...So, I should probably start with how I got h3r3.
W3ll, w3 all know th3 story- 3vil vid3o gam3 brings forth m3t3or apocalyps3, bunch of kids b3com3 gods and hit the r3s3t button, world sav3d, wh33. Which we did- the D3niz3ns w3r3 b3at, the Black King was d3ad, gam3 ov3r, a winn3r is you. W3 w3r3 at th3 door to the Ultimat3 R3ward. My hand was on th3 doorknob. As in, on th3 doorknob. I WAS TOUCHING TH3 ******** DOORKNOB.
And it all w3nt to s**t.
R3d Simon com3s right th3 h3ll out of nowh3r3- you know, buddy buddy, lik3 h3 usually do3s, no worri3s- spouts out a Zalgo r3f3r3nc3, and all of a sudd3n, w3'r3 staring down th3 busin3ss end of too many t3ntacl3s for anyon3 to b3 comfortabl3 (3v3n N3ro, th3 p3rv), and th3n J is a r3d past3 on th3 floor.
And th3n it 3ats the door.
Do you und3rstand this? IT AT3 OUR ******** DOOR.
And th3n R3d Simon skips off singing ******** Trololo, l3aving us to fac3 off with flipping Yog-Sothoth.
It do3sn't 3nd w3ll.
So now I'm h3r3. I suppos3 I should consid3r mys3lf lucky- w3 us3d this thing as a bas3 aft3r Hannah got a hold of h3r Spac3 pow3rs. Th3n H3nd3rson got in on th3 act with h3r Br3ath asp3ct, and BAM. Stylish sonic spac3ship.
H3nd3rson stopped "h3lping" aft3r sh3 asc3nd3d and almost ripp3d th3 3ntir3 st3rn off of th3 ship. Hannah was mor3 than capabl3 of doing it h3rs3lf by that point, anyway.
...Off topic. As I was saying, th3r3's suppli3s on this h3ap. Alch3my 3quipm3nt, comput3rs, 3v3n som3 3ctobiology stuff. Not that I n33d it- apart from food, I don't n33d to alch3miz3 anything, and w3 alr3ady br3d a univ3rs3... thing. I'd wond3r why sh3 didn't shoot m3 off in that dir3ction, but rul3s ar3 rul3s- No R3ward, no 3ntry.
I just play3d Cr3ator for ******** nothing.
==~==
Six months out. Finally a n3w d3v3lopm3nt to talk about. Gl33.
About two months ago, I start3d g3tting w3ird transmissions. At first I didn't pay '3m any mind, but th3y b3cam3 mor3 fr3qu3nt th3 furth3r along in this dir3ction I w3nt. It occur3d to m3 that mayb3 I was r3-3nt3ring populat3d ar3as.
So, y3ah. Kind of a big d3al.
Turns out, though, it's still not good n3ws. If I'm right, onc3 I d3cod3 th3s3 transmissions...
W3ll, I'll l3t that though hang ominously for now.
==~==
It's a s3ssion. A s3ssion. ANOTH3R ******** S3SSION.
Appar3ntly w3 ar3 not alon3 in th3 univ3rs3. Too bad th3y'r3 all just as dumb as w3 ar3.
3v3n so, th3r3 ar3 som3 diff3r3nc3s. Th3 play3rs s33m divid3d b3tw33n two rac3s- humans, lik3 mys3lf, and som3 kinda horn3d sp3ci3s. From what I've b33n abl3 to d3cod3, th3y call th3ms3lv3s trolls.
...I s**t you not, that's what th3y call th3ms3lv3s. Lov3ly. R3d Simon would fit right in h3r3.
Still no sign of th3 crimson b*****d, by th3 way. I don't 3v3n know if h3 was head3d this way. R3st assur3d, Riyu is still itching to giv3 him a warm w3lcom3 wh3n w3 find him.
...By that I m3an I'm gonna shov3 a utility pol3 up his a**.
Okay, I n33d to g3t back to d3coding th3s3 transmissions.
==~==
Aft3r many months of obs3rving th3s3 transmissions, I hav3 r3ach3d a sci3ntifically sound conclusion:
Trolls ar3 ******** w3ird.
==~==
This may or may not b3 my last log. Probably, y3ah. I m3an, 3ith3r I mak3 contact with a fri3ndly sort of dud3 and I stop giving a s**t about this log...
Or th3y blast m3 out of the ******** air and I g3t to s3ttl3 in a nic3 dr3ambubbl3 with Hannah and... I dunno, mak3 ghost babi3s or something. I dunno how it works, on account of not b3ing d3ad.
Anyway, what3v3r. I'v3 manag3d to singl3 out th3 p3rson who is most lik3ly th3 l3ad3r of th3 oth3r s3ssion. Mor3ov3r, I'v3 manag3d to r3v3rs3 3ngin33r th3ir chat cli3nt... thing. It wasn't r3ally that hard- it 3v3n still us3s th3 voic3-to-t3xt program that J put into my glass3s.
And h3r3 I thought w3 w3r3 b3ing original. Ah, w3ll.
W3ll, 3ith3r way, I'm probably not coming back to this h3ap again aft3r this. Fing3rs cross3d.
Mako Moritomi, shitti3st captain in paradox spac3, outta h3r3.

He felt a very sudden lurch, wrenching him out of his nap quite forcefully. He leaped straight from his resting place to land on top of another passenger and began beating the Prospitian's chest until he heard cracking sounds. Unfortunately, they were coming from his own fingers' shells, not that of his would be attacker. The assailed assailant began crying out in terror, in hopes that help would come bursting through the door just to his right, but they were very quickly muted. The Prospitian fell silent as the large piece of wood fell from BM's hand. WHEW! THAT took too long… What did? You wouldn't understand. Aww… DON'T start. The Battalion Mediator stood and looked around. There wasn't much to see… just a bunch of wooden crates full of… wait, what WAS in those crates? CANDY!? CEREAL!? "BOBBLEHEADS!?" FINGERS!? No, it-WHAT? Are you DEMENTED?? UGH. Why me? Anyway, bent down at the crate he'd broken that piece of wood from and tried to peek at what was inside. He couldn't see much, mainly just a bunch of straws. Ah, wait, I meant to say straw. NUUP! It's straws! Yeah! Like, the ones you STRAW with!! How the HECK do you straw?? With STRAWS! SHUT UP! IT'S STRAW, OK?? It's simply-- wait… that… those ARE straws. The crates are full of drinking straws. Why in SKAIA are the crates-- "I guess they have a drinking problem!" I think my strawing group has a drinking problem. I think your THINKING group has a FAILING problem. Yeah?? Well… well, I think YOUR… um, has a problem with… um, you're a PROBLEM! You… huh? NO! NONONONONO! SHUT UP! I am NOT kidding, Shut UP! Upon realizing that the crates had nothing but straws in them, BM LEFT the ship he'd stowed away on! NOW! Leave the ship! This story needs to PROGRESS! MOVE YOUR CARAPICIAN BUM! Good. As he walked toward the door, he-- HEY! Why did you feel the need to kick that guy in the head? You already tackled him to the ground, tried to beat him to a pulp, knocked him unconscious with a board, and now you kick him as you walk by?? He didn't even DO anything! He was just… THERE!! "Wait… only… UNCONSCIOUS?? Can't have THAT…" CAN we!? NUUP! You… wait… What are… oh. Seriously...? Uhm. BM walked casually away from some small pieces of grist that he had apparently no interest in. The landscape was… not quite what he had expected. Not that he would have been able to expect what he saw. The night sky was covered with clouds, the moon and stars almost completely nonexistent. The darkness would have been absolute, if not for the eerie multi colored glow that seemed to permeate everything. Upon closer examination-- WOOOAAAHHH TRRIIPPYYYYY… Don't you-- Trip? Don't worry! I WON'T! Shut up. BM looked around a bit more, and realized the glow was coming from-- "Glow sticks! They're EVERYWHERE!" TRIIIPPYYY!! … Yes. Glow sticks. They really did seem to be… everywhere. Though some were just littered on the ground, most of them looked to have been planted in some manner or another. They adorned the trees like some bizarre fruit, stuck out of the ground, hung in bunches from each bush, even from the center of any flowers. The glow wasn't the onl- "WOOAAH! Hear THAT?" Sounds like we gotta go join the RAAVEEE! TRRRRIIIIIPPYYYYY!!! No. You are NOT going to the rave. That will stall SO MUCH-- Can't you HEAR IT THOUGH!? The MUSIC, MAN! Unfortunately, the music abruptly STOPPED as the rave was suddenly cut short by a group of bloodthirsty… gristthirsty? Angry imps. All of the consorts at that rave died that night. Onward to other things. What? Hey! Aww… sounds like we missed a REALLY great party then! You'll get over it. Not too far away, BM actually managed to notice something useful. I strange structure that most certainly didn't fit in with the rest. He entered immediately, of course, his head being the tub of sludge it is. "WHAT? DON'T start THAT again!!" YEAH! YOU DON'T GET TO SAY THINGS LIKE THAT! You better not-- Just walk in already. As he wandered around, he noticed a Troll. He didn't know that's what he was looking at, but I don't care. Well you SHOULD! DO IT RIGHT! Yeah, you supposed to… do it RIGHT! Real well said. Thanks! NO. You know what? JUST SHUT UP. This is NOT going to continue happening. I'M telling the story, I'll do it how I want! BM saw the freaking Troll! It had grey skin and stupid tatoos! BM walked into the room! STOP THAT! DON'T TELL THE STORY LIKE THIS AGAIN! I CAN'T HEAR YOU! The Troll was killing imps! BM was dumb! Scratch that, it's in the wrong tense! It should've said IS DUMB! BM failed to stop being dumb! Cytyrn succeeded to continue killing imps! Not that it's all that hard to do! BM looked a little irritated! Wah! Get OVER IT! Cytyrn got tripped! No one cares! BM jumped--
Wait… what… what are you… OH MY-- STOP! You're… Good… LORD… "Describe it." I… EVERY DETAIL. DESCRIBE IT. FROM T"H"EMOM"E"NTYOU LEFT"O"F"F." I can't… you… why did you…? "N"OW! HT! I…! Um… R-right. Ahem. BM jumped onto Cytyrn's prone form, and before he had a chance to react, BM picked up a jagged… I think it was a bone, and bashed Cytern in the head. At first, he seemed unfazed, but Bm just kept… hitting him. Over and over. At one point, one of his horns snapped off. Cytern looked like he was getting pretty angry, and was trying to get the bone out of BM's hand. But… he wouldn't stop. He just bashed and bashed until finally Cytyrn succumbed and fell face first to the ground. Just as Cytyrn was turning himself over, clearly not dead yet thanks to his strong blood color, BM grabbed a hook, disinterested that it was still connected to an imp, and plunged it into Cytyrn's left eye. He left it there so he could rummage around for something else, and found the troll's broken off horn. Bm… he smiled. It was… so wrong… but… it was such a wide smile. He raised the horn high and rammed it through Cytyrn's right arm. Then he pulled back out and… stabbed him through the neck. With his own horn. Purple blood began to puddle, but… apparently BM wasn't satisfied. Sitting on top of Cytyrn's heaving chest, BM grabbed the imp's free hand and raked its claws across Cytyrn's face, leaving three evenly spaced diagonal lines across it. He… He grabbed the bone again, and… he ran the jagged end… right through Cytyrn's chest, pinning him to the floor. Then he stood up and k-kicked him in the sides. I-I don’t know how many times… so many times… he… I lost count. Then he… he grabbed the grandfather clock… and he… he pulled it over… when it landed… the SOUND… the sound was… indescribable. I've never… in all my life… I've never seen anything…
The ship rocked as each one of the eight side cannons fired seconds apart from each other. Huge billows of smoke shooting from them as the cannon balls cut through the air and into the Dersite ship not 100 feet from them. They had yet to be in proper broadside position, showing only a portion of their side to his vessel. Making two shots sour off into the ocean while six blew holes into it and shot out the other side, grist shooting everywhere as they did. Baikal’s main hope was that he took out some of their cannons. A few agonizing seconds later the opposing ship had showed their entire side to them, and lo and behold 8 hatches opened and 8 cannons emerged. Baikal felt ice shoot down his spine.
“ (,3+ |)()VV| |!!”
And every turtle that heard him did, he wasn’t sure if they knew the danger they were in or if they were just too stupid to disobey him. Either way, they did. The sound of wood splintering and damn near explode made Baikal’s stomach churn. God, this was the most terrifying and coolest thing ever. After their barrage was finished Baikal popped out of cover and started to bark out commands.
“/-|lright, move us closer! | don't care how you do it! |3ut be prepared for boarding maneuvers! | want every available turtle on that ship now!”
The sail shot open and several turtles fell from their perches around it. Not that it mattered. They were obviously fine with how they instantly began to wriggle around on their backs unable to get up. He motioned for others to help them up. He began to make his way down the main deck towards the bow looking for his Dersite stowaway. He heard the cracks of muskets from the distance and ducked a little bit. Grist shot towards him as he hurried across several torn up sections of ship. At the other side he saw it just standing, it was the picture of calm even in this mess. it looked towards him and he motioned for it to come closer. It complied and moved in a quick pace to meet him halfway. when it did it snapped a salute and stood at attention. His mind reeled, what the hell was it? It seemed like what they were fighting, but different, more… trained? Whatever it was it was valuable. He needed it’s help on this ship.
“VVe are weeding out traitors you understand? | don't care what they say you got it?! +hey broke deserted! +hey are the enemy here! | expect you to eliminate with extreme prejudice!”
⇒ Corsair: Become the ArmedPartisan
Ap hesitated at this. No one had ever rebelled in Derse. The Queen made sure of it. Anyone who had thoughts of it were… executed. Was this the will of the Queen? Traitors. The word disgusted her. no one has the right to disobey their commanding officer. It was… she didn’t even know how to explain it. All it did was make it twitch a little bit. She eyed the ship they were closing in on. Her eyes narrowed. She snapped a salute quickly and made her way to her quarters. Uncaring as the ship was once again traded cannon fire with the other. Both ships rocked hard as the projectiles tore through each other with ease. Grist once again exploding from each. She went below deck and saw the holes going through each side of the ship. She moved to the cargo area and dug through several crates. After several seconds she pried a crate open, when she saw the contents she nodded and began to drag it to the upper deck for her captain. These “Crewmates” needed fire power, and she knew just how to give them that.
⇒ AP: Be the Corsair
Well, more like captain but right now he’s a tad busy. Baikal stared intently at the other ship, they were coming close now, only a minute or two before they boarded. God, this was awesome. Heh, looks like you’re about to do something stupid huh? It’s just a game right? But it feels so real… A smile found it’s way on his face as he tipped his hat over his eyes.
--PP to SP--
PP: |_ook. | don’t even know why |’m calling you but… PP: | just wanted to say | hate your pathetic guts.
Man, that always helps stress ya know? A small poking at his back made him lift his hat and turn around and look down. It was back, with a crate of Flint Lock rifles… Baikal’s face lightened up and a smile creeped on, his teeth showing a little. He gave it a pat on the head and yelled to the crew.
“3very one grab one!VVe're going on over!”

==> Kyanos: Skip past boring stuff and get to the important part!
The Mayor is anything but boring! That is pretty much the opposite of what The Mayor is! To skip past his introduction to our Hero of Hope would be a great disservice to literary convention!
==> Kyanos: Fine. Summarize previous events.
To summarize would be a great disservice to the awesomeness that is The Mayor!
==> Kyanos: I don't care.
Obviously not. But you know what you DO care about? The Mayor.
Shortly after passing through your gate and re-opening communications with the rest of your team, you came across a strange fellow who insists upon being called “The Mayor”. You assume he means the Mayor of whatever this strange board game themed neighborhood is. You also assume he's a little insane because so far he is the only other living thing you have run across since entering that didn't automatically attempt to gnaw your legs off; instead he insists on talking to inanimate cards with people drawn on them and treating pewter dogs like animate objects.
Oh, and protecting his bank vault full of fakey bullshit play money. This is actually how you found him initially. After attempting to abscond with some worthless cash, The Mayor revealed himself and demanded to know if you were “The Banker” or not.
You have no idea what he meant so you just kind of nodded and went along with it. After your declaration of indeed being “The Banker”, The Mayor was more than happy to let you take as much of it as you wanted. You kindly decline. The money is worthless.
Afterwards you discovered a return gate and brought The Mayor back to your hive to help you alchemize a bunch of junk you don't really care about. Maybe you'll get slightly less useless junk out of their combinations. You hope.
==> Kyanos: Alchemize with your new best friend!
You already have been! You eagerly anticipate the outcome of your first experiment in Alchemy!
Gutsticker&&Pair of Six-Sided Dice = Gungfarnir
What a handsome weapon! The length of its blade changes depending upon the dice rolled at its hilt. That could prove useful! Look how happy the Mayor is! Gay, even! He is most impressed by the length of your fine, manly staff!
==> Kyanos: Answer Danwer?
Huh. You can't actually recall the last time you and your team leader had actually spoken since the game started. This is probably important!

==> Kyanos: Answer that gallant fellow.
Yet another person you don't know. Oh well, at least they took your initial greeting in stride! However, you are starting to believe their handle is an accurate description of their personality.
Looks like she could use some advice? You must admit that your mind is currently processing a lot of new information, but you may as well try to at least give some words of encouragement.
...Wh-what? Why would you say that? Er.. why would I think that? No, no. Stop it. Ignore the voice.
==> Fine, ignore me, see if I care. Just don't die before even getting anywhere.
Not listening, lalala..
Canisa was interrupted from her thoughts by the encouraging nudge from the nose of her lusus/sprite against her back, and she closed her eyes and nervously tightened her grip on the handle of her bone scythe. Deep breaths, Canisa. After taking a few deep breathes to calm herself, she re-opened her eyes and focused them on the imp messing around in her Food Preparation Block. She could do this, she needed to do this, for both herself and her teammates. All she needed to do was charge and swing, it was an easy enemy, it shouldn't be too hard.
And yet, she found it difficult to move her legs forward towards the inevitable first fight. Fortunately for us and unfortunately for Canisa, she didn't get the chance to delay it by talking herself into it, as her lusus nudged her a bit more insistently, causing her to stumble a few steps forward and get the attention of the imp. It took note of her focus on it and the lame attack stance she was sporting, and figured that was its cue to pick up a chair and leave her kitchen to attack.
A growl behind Canisa spurned her into stepping forward, raising her weapon in offens-- oh, there she goes into defense. Just in time, too, as the imp thrust the chair legs towards her. She managed to block one of the back legs with her weapon, but the other three knocked into her and dealt a little bit of damage as well as managing to push her over with a frightened squeak. She looked up from her spot on the floor and saw the imp raise the chair, and she knew that she could dodge a swing if she rolled out of the way--. But alas, that'd be too easy. At the moment she was tensing up to move, text flashed over her right eye from her headtop and distracted her long enough for the imp to swing the chair down. It smacked her right on the head, and like the weakling she was, the force of it was enough to knock her out. Her Dogmomsprite jumped to her rescue and took care of the imp, showering her unconscious body in its grist.
==> OH COME ON.
......
Canisa woke up with a flinch, though her eyes were still shut tightly. So that was a huge failure. She could feel tears of shame welling up, and she opened her eyes to help blink them away, only to be surprised by the copious amount of purple in the room. What was-- oh, right. Derse.
The reminder that she was on Derse also brought forth memories of her recent messages regarding it, specifically ones with Danwer. He had said that he brought her to his room. ...Oh no. Remember when she said she was looking forward to meeting him? That was only in the comfort and safety and text, but with it so real and close, all her fears about actually interacting with other people swarmed over her and threatened to choke her with the lump that formed in her throat, and even more tears filled her eyes at the thought that she might-- no, definitely would screw up and get him to hate her--.
Oh god. Now that she was actually looking around the room, her eyes were drawn to the back of a man looking over the city, leaning on the railing of his tower's balcony. There was an extremely brief moment of hope that swelled in her chest, before it was quashed by the fear of rejection washing over her again. She gripped the sheets of the-- bed? How odd-- and let out a quiet whimper.
After being sent to another session Kizen scrambles to his feet to rush to the controls. Not worrying about what had just happened to his teammates.
"Good krewe but they were not wise. Lets see what we can find here!"

====> Have Extreme Power Failure
Kizen puts on his Extreme Power Failure hat, causing his ship to decide that his fashion sense was bad enough to begin barreling towards the Land of Ships and Waves.
====> Remain Calm and Find Another to Pester.
Laughing at his idiotic thoughts Kizen begun to search the handles he knew to find SOMEONE else to talk to in hopes that this will all blow over.
