Eos was busy watching Polaris, still marvelling somewhat at how impressive her wings looked, when something small crashed into her. Her name was squeaked shortly afterwards, and her eyebrows furrowed as she turned to find the source. The blonde's expression softened when she laid her eyes upon Oberon, and a small smile crossed her face. "Well hey there." She allowed her hand to be taken, though didn't allow him to drag her - she made it quite clear that she was walking to wherever they were going.
A table, it seemed. Actually, a sit down didn't seem like too bad an idea. Sliding herself into a seat, Eos smiled at her small friend. "What're you on about? There's no fighting going on!" Although just as she said that, a verbal debate seemed to be heating up. She kept one ear listening as new information was dealt, a lot of which she hadn't been privy to until now. Maybe this meeting had been worth it after all - she knew of the existence of knights, but not much else. Turning back to Oberon, the smile stretched to a grin.
"No snacks? Then what's that you've got, there?" She nodded her head to juice box in his hand, raising her eyebrows.

"As someone who has to deal with people constantly wishing I'd be someone I'm not, I am not comfortable with forcing someone who doesn't want to be purified to be purified," Ganymede replied to the floral senshi with another roll of his eyes. "If you're too chicken s**t to try and talk our issues out with people, then leave it to the people who'd like to try."
Here he made a gesture between himself and Val, and tried to include Europa in the motion as well, as he was pretty sure he knew where she stood on most things (at least as far as the Negaverse was concerned), but he wasn't comfortable enough to speak for Tsui and so wouldn't include her until he knew she wanted to be included.
"Not that I was even talking to you to begin with. I was actually just talking to my friends, so if you'd sit down and shut the hell up and leave me alone, this entire encounter wouldn't even be necessary. You don't agree with me? Great. Good for you. You go do your thing, and I'll keep doing mine. There's no one here trying to stop you, so kindly butt out and don't try to stop me."

Tsui might have been quiet, but she was listening to Ganymede and Valhalla's discussion over the discussions going on around them. She had attended the Jovian meeting, so she had a taste of what the two were talking about between having a single leader verses a true democracy. Even she, someone who wasn't a member of their court, was given the right to say something (and not feel as though there were folks there to shoot her down). She had been without a lead figure for so long, but she had heard about Princess Polaris through Kallichore, and now that she was given the chance to see her for herself, she felt a bit of hope die within her.
Before Tsui could say anything, Polaris had clapped her hands and caused the room to fall into a hush. So, Tsui straightened up in her seat and stared ahead at the Princess, hoping that she'd answer even a fraction of the questions burning within her ever since she started. And for the most part, she did, and Tsui was feeling confident about her position in the White Moon Court...
Until Ganymede opened his mouth, again. Her golden eyes darted to him at the mention of them not wanting to be purified, and she thought there couldn't be anymore divided than she felt when entering the halls. Well, except for now, anyways. Kallichore had painted the members of the DMC to be brainwashed, their souls taken from them and their minds corrupted, but from what Ganymede said, she couldn't help but wonder if the comparison between corruption and purifying wasn't accurate.
She brought a hand to her chin and spoke her thoughts aloud, meant for Ganymede, Europa and Valhalla but certain that others might hear it as well. "If they think they're right, then what we'd think of as corruption could be purification to them. So, the question is... who's right? Who's wrong?"
She's read enough novels, played enough games, and watched enough tv shows to know that there was no correct answer to that. Even the history books, that tried to paint the world in black and white, couldn't deceive her for long, and she gave her shoulders a shrug. Her next words were to the Senshi that had objected to Ganymede's suggestions for diplomacy. "I talked with one of the generals," she didn't say his name, though, as she purposefully left that part out. "He seemed to imply that all they want is for us to leave Earth and their people alone. I... can't really say he's WRONG to be worried about protecting the place he calls home."
Her mind wondered to the thought of going into space and seeing the constellation that she was named after, but that would simply have to wait until after this meeting was done. Perhaps either of the three experienced Senshi could help her with that?

"I have tried taking the diplomatic approach. I was barely able to get a few words out before I was stabbed, beaten and tossed into a fountain to drown all the while pleading for mercy," Aster retorted. She was still shaken by it, even after all these months. "You're in a group discussion. If you don't want to discuss with the group, then don't discuss."
Aster then turned to Tsui. "Leaving Earth isn't exactly an option for us. And as much as they may claim they want to protect Earth, they are the ones who are endangering it. There's no reasoning with people who go to irrational measures in pursuit of irrational demands. I want peace just as much as everyone else here, and peace without violence, but sending in a team of diplomats is a death wish."

"I wasn't discussing this with the group at large," Ganymede pointed out, motioning around the hall. "I was discussing it with my friends. I didn't raise my voice. I didn't raise my hand. In fact, I had my voice lowered so that our discussion wouldn't interrupt the main discussion going on. You're the one who decided you wanted to try and take me on."
Why, he had no idea. He didn't particularly care. He was here for the potential information as well as to listen to the differing opinions going around. Just because he didn't agree with them didn't mean he didn't want to hear them. They simply gave him a firmer belief in his own.
"You're not the only one of us who've had a bad experience. I'm pretty sure most of us have been there, done that, and dealt with that trauma. And yet we're still willing to go out there and try to compromise, because violence and death and forcing s**t on people doesn't solve anything. So, as I said before, shut up and leave me the hell alone. If what I have to say really gets your panties in a bunch, you can look the other way and ignore me. I haven't forced anyone to listen."

"No way, there's totally fighting going on," he said with a small nod, popping off the straw for the juice box and sticking it into the appropriate, foil covered hole. He hopped up onto a seat at the table, tucking his legs beneath him so he could get a little more boost up. "See? That lady up there is a Princess and she's talking about all this stuff, but there are some who don't agree with what she's saying. See that knight there?" he asked, pointing to Niflhel. "He doesn't like that people are talking up against Polaris. I haven't really met him but he's pretty okay," he added, taking a sip of the juice he'd been given ever so kindly.
"And then there's others who don't like what the others are saying in the crowd. That one," he said, nodding towards the blonde with the rainbow hairband and the cat, "Keeps saying inappropriate words in the company of minors. And that one," he continued, nodding towards chibi Hypnos, "Is a friend of mine. She's kinda awesome." And then in a whisper, "I don't think she knows who I am yet. I met her before I was a senshi."
He blinked at her when she pointed out his juice box, straw in his mouth. "Uhhh, oh, well... I happened to, uh... be given this... but I don't think there's any more," he mumbled sheepishly, adverting his gaze for a few moments before digging into his pocket to pull out the cake he was also given. "Uh... did you want to share?" he offered, feeling guilty for having a snack when she didn't.
-------
Valhalla had opened his mouth at one point to maybe try and defend Ganymede's opinions (since they were his own as well), but the eternal senshi seemed to have it under control. He was even going to maybe suggest to Ganymede to just ignore her, as he was, but he seemed to have that under control as well.
Instead, he leaned around him to Europa and Tsui. "I wonder if she's talking about Painite," he said with a grimace. "Stabbing people is kind of a thing of hers..." He didn't know for certain, but he had definitely been stabbed by the General before, regardless of his attempts at just talking. "Tsui, if you ever cross paths with someone dressed in steam-punkish attire, and may or may not have a large spear with her, run... Some people... just don't want to talk. They're so set in their ways, just like some of us are set in ours. She won't hesitate to try and kill you."
At least in his experience... Of all the agents of Chaos he'd met, only Painite had really tried to kill him.

Super Sailor Pasiphae was not, as it may have seemed, uncharacteristically late. No, the Shame Senshi was there, looking in awe at all of the people who had responded to the summoning message. Senshi and Knights of all types, even numerous Guardian cats, all from different groups, or as individuals who did not ally themselves to any particular group yet. She was still reeling from the idea that her friend Polaris, Aurora, was a Princess now, but to see her leading the meeting with the same gentleness and calm that she had always known her to have seemed to make it sink in all the further.
She sat and listened, for a long time, to what others had to say, and her heart began to have a tidal flow of raising and lowering. The Lost Boys, the Zoo, many others that she did not recognize were all present and all seemed to be, for the most part, in sync. But there voices that argued against the power of a princess and some that cried for snacks and other such things. Pasiphae recognized those voices, for they were the voices of her teammates, those to whom she was closest in this room--Ganymede, Valhalla, Sessrumnir. She didn't disagree. She respected the position of Princess because it meant that the Senshi had great power, but she was not looking for a savior. She believed in everyone having a voice and coming together to support whatever the group decided.
When a moment of silence came, she finally plucked up her courage to speak. She did not want this meeting to turn into another one like the Surrounding, where people grew angry and drifted apart rather than unified together. She didn't want it, not for her sake, but for the sake of everyone who was here, and everyone who wasn't, laying their lives on the line for duty. She stood up and raised her voice, not to a shouting level, but to one where it could be heard as she offered, "I know I'm a little late in speaking, but the topics for discussion don't seem completely seperate... to me, at least. I'm sorry if I'm wrong, and I don't mean to backpedal."
She fumbled a bit at this point, realizing that no one but a few in the room would know who she was. "Um... I am Super Sailor Pasiphae, Senshi of Shame, but please just call me Pasiphae. I wanted to say, on the topic of knights and diplomacy, that I don't know much about knights either, but I've... I've fought with some, and made friends with some, and I think... that they're alright. I mean, not alright just because I accept them, I mean... good allies, good people we can learn much more from. Just as we can learn much more from other Senshi and from other teams of Senshi. Maybe... maybe we should be diplomatic to one another, too? We all have different experiences and different needs, but maybe if we can all agree, at least, to work together, then... that's better than anything we can do alone. In the Surrounding, we all fought at different power levels, and for different reasons, with different people, and, um, all of that, but banding together is what seemed to work, in the end."
Now that she had opened her mouth she felt like she had to say everything on her mind, even though she was fairly certain many of them wouldn't care or that she was going to mess it up in her delivery, but she still found herself blurting out, "I don't want anyone to get hurt, although I know its inevitable. I think of all Senshi, all Knights, as my allies, and I... would help any of them if they needed it. I want to save those corrupted, but I don't want... to force it on them, the way we would be forced into corruption. It seems like... like we'd be becoming what we stand against then. Maybe... maybe diplomacy between us wouldn't work, couldn't work. But I'd be willing to try. Then... then at least we know that we tried and if it doesn't work then we can do... whatever else needs to be done."
The nervous girl cleared her throat, twisting at the bracelets on her wrist as she wracked her brain for anything else. Nothing. No, she had probably already said too much, and so she gave a curtsey to the audience at large before rushing out, "Thank you for your attention. I'm sorry to tie up the floor for so long" She then, very quickly, began looking for a place to sit down before her nerves completely turned her knees to jelly.
[Sorry for the long post. If anyone would like to speak with/interact with Pasiphae, just give me a quote! <3 Even if you don't know her, she's always happy to meet new people.]

Niflhel's eyes were on the back where there was obviously some issues. He couldn't quite make out all of what was being said but he'd caught something about purification, he watched for a second. From the body language and he couldn't be 100% positive he was right but it seemed to be another fight over if it was right. Then Pasiphae spoke up, he smiled towards her. "I'm sure only those willing to be purified will be. Those wishing to continue to fight will get the fight as they wish. However, I am sure nothing will be pushed on anyone that does not wish it." His eyes traveled up to where he thought Lina was sitting, "At least we know it is possible to save those that are unhappy in their current place, and that wish to make a major change in their life."
He was getting annoyed with what seemed like a debate going on among the Jovians, and he couldn't quite catch it all being at the front. It was thanks to Aster that he was able to gather anything from it. "Anyways back to knights...." There was a pause as he looked over towards Polaris. "Permission to join you on the stage for a second."
AS he waited for her answer he did speak, "I cannot speak for every knight but it's my experience we are not attacked as suddenly as the senshi. Most Negaverse agents are more open to talking to us and finding out what we're about. There are a few Negaverse agents I do attack on site as they are dangerous and have been known to attack without warning or steal starseeds."
Taking a moment for it to sink in before continuing. "Knights for those of you that do not know or may not have heard earlier are more melee fighters than magic. As Polaris has said our weapons start out useless, we have to learn to defend ourselves. I am more than willing to help there." There was a moment as he looked around, "Camelot? Would you be willing to help as well? I know you're one of our older and wiser members. Also, is there anyone else, Senshi or Knight that is experienced with street fighting, kickboxing or other martial arts training? Feel free to raise your hands so others can know. It's important for everyone even senshi to have hand to hand combat training." His eye scanned the floor.
((Edited as I missed Pasiphae's name for a second my apologies))

She was supposed to be aloof, she was supposed to not care, she wasn't supposed to get involved with the politics of this bullshit. It was the politics of the Order that drove Lina Knight beyond batshit insane. The girl who she knew to be the moon princess was sitting on the floor trying to convince that child senshi (ugh, child senshi) to...trade shoes? Something with shoes instead of doing her job and bringing some semblance of order (haha) to this whole rigmarole bag of ******** morons.
The disagreement between Aster and Ganymede had caught her eyes and her ears so that the knight was incredulous. Compromise?! With who? Didn't they really know what they were dealing with? Hadn't Lina told anyone that had asked, anyone that would listen, that there were those in the Negaverse that would not ever stop trying to kill or corrupt them all? Hadn't she told people that forcibly purifying everyone, whether they were willing or not, was perhaps the only way to win this war?
Dropping down from where she'd perched there was suddenly a raging young woman who was ready to scream, interrupting Niflhel in the worst example possible of a knight. "You are all ridiculous!" Oh wait she was screaming, face red with the frustration and anger that this whole thing had brought about. "Is this how you conduct yourselves in a group all the time? I had though perhaps what happened at the Surrounding, the level of disorganization and backbiting was due simply to the nature of the situation but this is insane! You don't listen to each other, you don't compare information, you don't share anything! Nobody listens everyone just talks and talks until you're blue in the face!" Arms wheeled wildly to encompass everyone.
"Do you know what the Negaverse does at a meeting if you tell them you don't like what the leader," a finger stabbed in the direction of Princess Polaris, "says to you? They kick you across the hall until you admit that they were right and you were wrong. If you can't listen to your superiors, if you don't learn how to do what you are told and play nice on the team, they will kill you themselves. I know because it happened to me! They were going to kill me because I'd failed so I left." Eyes snapped to the group that was for diplomacy then across to everyone who seemed to disagree.
"You want to sit around and argue about what to do? Go right ahead but let me tell you they're not arguing about what to do about you. Kill or corrupt, those are the only options and let me tell you, if you hadn't noticed, that kill is their favorite choice. You can't convince them otherwise because they are taught that if they want to survive they have to listen to what they are told, do what they are told, or they might as well go lay down in front of their general and offer their chests, hoping they'll make it less painful that way. Because you don't fail the queen. Ever." She had and the memory of the pain still burned in her mind, the pain of her mother's loss killing some of the emotion in her eyes so that her voice was dull as the Knight of Mercury gave up trying to talk sense into anyone.
"Purify them. Purify them or kill them because otherwise you're going to lose. I'm out of here, I just can't stand listening to this anymore or I might just go and see if they'll take me back." WIthout looking at anyone in particular, without singling out anyone for they'd all made her angry in their own little way no matter what side they chose or what they thought was right, Lina just pushed her way through the crowd and out the door.
(( Just because someone disagrees with you ICly it doesn't mean they hate you~ This was something I've wanted Lina to do for awhile so please don't take it personally guys. She hates everyone equally but I adore you. : DD ))

"So, steam-punkish and a giant spear means I should run?" Tsui said to Valhalla, wondering if that's the one they called Painite and assuming it to be so. She gave a nod of her hand and crossed one leg of the other, as emphasis on her well toned and muscled legs. "Tigers don't usually run from fights, but if you're one saying run, then I suppose I'll have to show off my speed in that occasion. I'll keep that in mind, Valhalla."
Tsui's golden eyes fell onto the Senshi of Shame when she spoke up, and like with Valhalla, she couldn't help but beam when in the presence of a familiar face. She pulled her attention towards her completely, rather liking the sound of her voice though she wished that she would talk a little louder, firmer, but she didn't openly express this as she didn't want to belittle her. She raised some good points, and Tsui nodded her head when she reached the end of her speech.
Then there was the instance with the girl Lina that had said her fill and stormed out, and Tsui felt completely confused. Who was she? Why did she get so angry? Tsui felt compelled to follow after her, but the Tiger Senshi merely scoffed, before addressing Pasiphae's suggestion. Whomever she was, at least she made her stance on the diplomatic matter clear...
"I'm game for an attempt at diplomacy. I was able to have civilized conversations with two of them, you know, once both sides lowered their arms." Tsui said, raising her voice and allowing others to know that she was addressing more than Pasiphae there. Finally, she felt as if she had a reason to get involved, and even if she was booed and hissed at, at least she can say she tried, right? "Make a meeting point on a neutral ground, work something out. Those on the Negaverse side that want peace or diplomacy will speak out, and who knows, maybe those will be the ones that want to be purified? It's harder to put down your arms than to raise them in fight, right? Even if it fails, then at least that would be enough to show those here that peace cannot be obtained and force us to unite together..."
It was a suggestion. Tsui was expecting to be shot down, but at least then she could say she tried. She flashed a nod to Pasiphae, letting her know that she wouldn't be taking on the task alone at least.

Ganymede was doing a lot of eye-rolling (except at Pasiphae, who was always awesome in his book, and the other two senshi and the knights he considered his friends and/or teammates). He had his eyes glued on the raging lunatic in the hall but didn't feel like deigning her temper tantrum with a response.
Instead, he looked at Val with an unimpressed look on his face as if to ask, "Can you believe this chick?"
He just didn't say it out loud, because in the end... well, some things just weren't worth the time or the trouble. He gave respect where it was earned from him, and hardly any of these people had succeeded in earning it.
(That's it from me until much later tonight!)

Aster was through as well. She was too argumentative of a person to ever let something go, and she was using every bit of restraint she had from attacking the boy who failed to see the reality of a Negaverse's corruption. Only when Lina left the meeting did Aster see a similar solution. Ever the leader, Aster followed the Knight out of the premises, not before flicking off the boy she had argued with.
Maturity was not her strong suit.

Troy watched as the crazy bitches - they were all crazy bitches in his mind - left. Mostly, he was watching their backsides with a sly smile on his face, but snapped back to reality once they were out of view.
"Er, I can fight," Troy Page shrugged to Niflhel. "I ain't like, really good at this Knight business or nothin', but I been in a few bar brawls in my heyday. Maybe I can help out."
He nearly regretted the words as soon as he spoke them. Was he really signing up for responsibility? Him? He who had lost his signet ring and avoided powering up for several months in shame? He gulped hard, hoping he'd be rightfully ignored.

Niflhel's eyes widened in surprised but yup, he was right it was Lina... right up until. "LINA....." He called frowning, "IF they wanted to kill you when you left, why would they want you back?" He looked worried.
"I agree with what you said, we need to work together and learn to get along and TRUST each other. But if you're willing to walk out and leave us.... what's that showing anyone, that they're winning?"
The knight of Saturn took off his hat. He sighed, rubbing his temples. Welp if they started walking out that was that. "An attempt at Diplomacy is impossible. They just aim to kill us unless somethings aiming to kill both sides. Lina's right in that aspect."
Niflhel nodded to Troy to note that he had heard him. "Meet me after the meeting and we can talk?"

Tsui looked to Nifhel, and she gave a shrug. She was new, inexperienced, and by golly, she was going to use this to her advantage.
"Why is it impossible? Months ago, I thought it was impossible that I could transform into a Senshi. I thought it was impossible to be able to run around and leap from here to there with relative ease, or destroy youmas with a few punches. Why is diplomacy so impossible when space travel is possible?"
More and more of the real Sailor Tsui was showing, and she crossed her arms over her chest. "Explain that to me. What has happened in the past that makes any notion of diplomacy impossible? That just sounds like a defeatist attitude and the easier way around the whole supposed problem. It's apparently easier to kill your enemy indiscriminately than it is to make peace with them, is that what you're saying?"
Then, it dawned on her, and she rose her hand. "By the way, I'm Sailor Tsui, Senshi of Tigers."

Lina's response was a bit obvious, a lot angry, and she just didn't care. "At least they'll kill me fast instead of a slow, angry death of frustration. Call me when you guys get a grip on the reality of this situation. I just can't do this anymore." The Knight of Saturn was really trying his hardest and if she weren't so angry at the whole thing she might have stayed to talk it out. Maybe she'd be willing to talk it out later. Right now she was two seconds from hauling Princess Polaris center stage and announcing that they were going to damn well listen. Various threats would have been employed, there might have been a duel or two, a whole lot of violence that wouldn't have done anyone any good. Lina did what she thought was best for everyone, what was decidedly best for herself, and just kept walking. They'd figure it out eventually and someone would call her. Maybe.
