Jeremy, Clayton and Lizz made it to the streets of midland Curtesia. Ash and Gina doted on Clayton the whole way, telling stories about how cute he was as a child and how Tilly and Danny used to hate each other (Danny used to swear Tilly was an idiot while Tilly was sure Danny was a stuffy know-it-all) and before they knew it, they were on the ground and in the streets. Gina and Ashley gave Lizz and Clayton their address so that they could stay at Peggy's (Ash's sister) house, where many of the freaks from this traveling false freak show had retired away from Torusa and now living in Curtesia. To this moment, Clayton still doesn't know WHY Lizz was here.
"Hey, why don't you and Dr. Hughes chat, and I'll meet you at the house, Lizz. I gotta go shopping an' get me some stuff ta wear and whatnot."
"Ah, do you have currency?" Jeremy asked, and Clayton paused, remembering his wallet was back in Torusa. "Ah, you won't do well without currency, here." Jeremy gave him a card, and Clayton raised an eyebrow.
"Yer givin' me... Money? But you don't know me that well, what if I overspend or steal this?"
Jeremy just smiled, "I trust you."

"Hm? Aaron? He'll be fine." Hannah replied. "He might not look like it, but he can pack quite a... Kick." She replied after a bit of thought. "He and I, we're more than your average person."

Vanessa laughed after Hannah spoke, before shrugging at her. "Alright then, if you're so sure, Miss Not-Your-Average-Person." She grinned at the girl, before remembering why they went out of the restaurant in the first place. "Anyway, ya wanna show me the gun now? I've done my part of the bargain."

Clone's shopping bag was now filled with the things she bought on her list. At least half of it was oranges. Apples, various spices, and some other kinds of fruit filled the rest of the bag. She skipped along happily until she suddenly tripped on her untied shoelace "Wo-AAAH!!" She fell face first onto the ground, dropping her bag.
Almost everything fell out of her bag, apples and oranges began rolling away and out into the streets. Clone sat up and saw the fruit disaster "Oh no!" she cried miserably. She got up and scrambled to re-capture the fruit.

"Hn?" Clayton felt something tap his foot... An orange. He bent down and picked it up, then raised an eyebrow before noticing Clone. He saw her scrambling for the fruit, so he picked up a couple more on his way to her, stood over her, and offered down the orange. "You gotta be more careful, girl. Ya don't want anyone ta steal your fruit. Or walk over ya for that matter." Once the orange was out of his hand, he still offered his hand as a means of helping her up. He noticed her tail and ears right away... He wondered if she was anything from like his mom's clan.
"Oh, yes, I suppose." Hannah replied, starting to take out the gun.
"Wait, don't take out the-"
But Aaron's warning came too late. Hannah had taken out the gun.

Clone looked up at the newcomer and blushed a little out of embarrassment "R-right..eheh" She took the orange then accepted his offered hand and stood up. She smiled at him "Thank you." she said lightly. She had gotten most of the oranges by the time the boy had arrived.

Vanessa grinned as Hannah took out the gun, her head whipping around to the direction of the restaurant as Aaron began to warn Hannah not to. 'What's wrong with taking out the gun.' She glanced back at the other girl, and found the gun was already taken out. Was something wrong with it?

The gun started beeping, and Aaron was running toward them. It all seemed to happen in slow motion. The gun beeping faster and faster, then Aaron running in faster than any human could and kicking the gun out of Hannah's hands. The gun flew upward, and it exploded right behind Hannah, making her fall forward, the entire left side of her back and the back of her left shoulder and upper arm was torn and bleeding, with shards of debris. Hannah cried out in pain.
Clayton looked at the girl and smiled lightly. It was rare for a girl to actually be nice to him, and with Lizz's uptight a** he was enjoying the kind smile Clone offered him. "Name's Clayton, I'm a foreigner. From Torusa." He replied, shaking her hand before letting go.

"Ah, I'm Clone." she said, dusting her shirt off once her hand was free, she noticed some dust gotten on it when she had tripped. She looked back up at him with a slightly surprised look when he said he was a foreigner "Really? What brings you to Curtesia?...uh- i-if you don't mind me asking." she smiled shyly with a hint of blush, her tiger tail swaying side to side slowly.

"This annoying woman who works for my boss," Clayton replied, rolling his eyes. "Though I dunno... This place looks nice, I kinda like it. But I came sorta... Unwilling, so I got nothin' ta eat or wear. That's why I'm here, to shop. What're you here for?" He asked, rubbing the back of his head in embarrassment.

Clone's smile brightened, "I'm buying food for the restaurant I work at~." she said cheerfully. "If you're hungry maybe I can take you there." she suggested. she put the oranges that were in her arm back in her bag. She was kind of curious as to why Clayton would be here unwillingly, but she didn't want to be nosy.

"That'd be great!" Clayton replied, "Hey Lizz, we should go and get some foo-ohshe'sgone..." He looked around, but he couldn't see Lizz anywhere. He sighed. "Well, guess it's just you an' me I guess. Here." He offered to carry the food for her.

As the gun exploded, Vanessa's eyes widened and she rushed backwards to get away from the blast, feeling shards of debris hit her face. She moved her arms and put them in front of her eye, to make sure none would hit it. After all, it wouldn't do her any good to go around blind as a pirate. When she thought everything was alright, she ran back to Hannah and grimaced, before grinning, hiding her expression under her bangs. It was disgusting seeing her back like that, but that explosive...man, she'd love to have one. Maybe if she stuck around with them, she'd be able to get one? So she wiped the grin off her face and bent down in front of Hannah, turning her gaze towards Aaron. "Where's the hospital or wherever you guys go to heal up?"

"A-ah, it's alright I got it." Clone replied with a smile when Clayton offered to carry the food. "Thank you though." she added. She started walking in the direction of the restaurant "Right this way~"

"Hng," Clayton put his hands in his pockets and started following Clone, with a light smile. He was on edge, being someone who always had to watch his back, he was worried that someone would come attack him or the girl he was following. It surprised him to see people so peaceful. As if he wasn't a stranger in their town.
"Ah, Hannah, can you hold it?" Aaron asked Vanessa.
"Guh... N-no, I'm going to have to..." Hannah took a deep breath, and suddenly, the peeled skin started to rejuvenate. The shards fell out from her wound, and the skin began to scab, then grown over her wound at a very fast rate. In a matter of seconds, the wound had disappeared. All that was left was the blood that had been left from the wound.
Aaron sighed, "Someone is going to catch you if you keep doing that in public." He looked over at Vanessa. He was well aware, they'd have to explain something to her. There were a lot of magical beings in Harganoph, but a healing ability, normally a male dominated ability, was not something everyone could do. And it was more of a self generating than a healing, it was, very subtly, something that no one might have ever seen or heard of before.
