User Image[[Well, considering I was waiting for Argyle, lol. HOPE YOU HAVE FUN AT CAMP!! BEST WISHES!! And leh-gasp, your posts are NOT crap, thank you very much razz ]]

Darryl outwardly frowned down at Jayden. Was he really expected to let this kid walk off on his own, in a place with people that could light themselves on fire, to meet up with some random person?

...Considering Jason needed tending to, apparently so. Even though the cop was completely NOT happy sending in a Civilian to do a Cop's job.

"Alright, but first sign of danger you hightail it back to me, and if you can't, you get the hell away. Got it?" Darryl was already picking Jason up to carry the boy bridal style. Still frowning, too. "Damn, you better be careful, you know. And muttering isn't good around a cop. Makes us suspicious." Yeah, he caught on that Jayden had been muttering, just not what, exactly. He'd delve into it later. Now, he started walking in the direction Jason told him to go.

[ ooc: Pbbbbbt on you, Mr. Aldrick. ...and I refuse to have Jayden call Darryl by his actual name. :'p]

If the guy wanted a stare down, he was going to have it. Jayden was extremely stubborn. Perhaps too stubborn for his own good at times. He wasn't one to back down from anything. Besides, this guy wasn't his dad or commander in chief! Just because the man was older, bigger, a cop, and probably had more influence then most normal human beings, didn't mean that the blond had to listen to him! He was an American citizen. Freedom of Speech and all that. Plus, he was an adult. Eighteen, therefore, he could make his own damn mistakes and have no one to blame but himself for them! When the Boulder Man began to speak, it was obvious that Jayden was either A) Barely paying enough attention, or B) 'listening' but not really considering he had heard all of this before, or C) Not appreciating the fact the guy had to 'baby' him. "Look. If I were any other kid, I'd listen to you wide eyed and fearfully. My Dad's a cop, and I have an older brother." Because the last part obviously meant a lot. "I think I'll be okay for a few moments, 'Chief'. I should be within yelling distance if anything goes wrong."

Sure, Jayden didn't like the whole 'babysitter/over protective adult' act, but he could understand it. It was probably ingrained in this guy. Two youths, one wounded and the other having a penchant for talking to himself and hearing things. One of them unconscious and now the apparent 'psycho child' was walking off on his own to someone whom they have never met. Not the most ideal situation...but it could be worse, right? They could be in a building they had never...seen...before...ahem. Well, they could be dead. Turning on his heel and giving a salute, he managed a few steps before nearly tripping over himself at the cops words. "Y-you heard?! Damn...well...I wasn't talking to myself. I'm being...followed, by a very annoying and touchy...person."

Of course, the 'annoying and touchy person' (or ghost, rather) didn't happen to like his comment and bopped him upside the head, causing him to mutter a small ow and cover his head before shaking it. "I'll be back." He informed Thor before hurrying off down the hallway. Despite all that seemed to happen in the short amount of time that it did...running felt nice. Normal. Controlled. Well...except for one teeny tiny little thing.

"The person you're looking for is down this hallway, to the left, and then to the right." Informed the ghost, glancing over at him with an expression that mirrored his own. Totally unamused.

"Can you just go away? I'm not in the mood to feel hesitant about my sanity."

"No. And you shouldn't be. Your mentality, which is rather low, might I add? Anyways, your mind is fine. It's you whose changed."

"Waddya mean?" he asked her, coming to a halt. Her actions didn't give him any assurance, though, for she only shook her head.

"I do not know...I can't...remember. But something bad is going on, and you and others are in the middle of it."

This caused Jayden to stop. "Others? Like, The Thing and Jason and this guy I might meet up with? Or...there's even more...?" The girl nodded, causing him to shake his head before running his hands through it in exasperation. "Well...it's not like we can do anything about it now. Let's find this guy, hear his story, and then bring him back to Mr. Copper for even more interrogation. Lucky him." With a snort, Jayden walked down before peering around a corner and looking at the only solitary figure in the hallway.

"...Yo. You lost, too?" Better to keep his distance for the time being, right? At least he couldn't say he wasn't cautious...at first.

xxxxxo. Juliet .o

(ooc: Finally back from camp! Sorry for the sudden disappearance and inability to post before I left, but just letting you know that I'm back now and so is Juliet! It feels good to get back into the swing of things again. c: Also short post is short. D: )

It was just like before.

Well, with a few differences.

Difference number one: She did not find herself knocked out on a cold and glaringly white tile floor. No, someone was carrying her and from the feel of things, she could only hope that it was Darryl. After all, she didn't want some scrawny little twit with stick arms parading her about an unknown and potentially fatal area. Not after the blond had practically caused her head to explode. Which, she mentally reminded herself, she needed to punch him for later. When she was able to stand up without the sound of a pin dropping giving her another migraine. For right now, however, she'd let (much against her stubborn will) Darryl carry her, as common sense won out against pride at the moment. As depressing as it was, Juliet figured that she wouldn't be able to walk on her own for a little bit.

Difference number two: The constant sounds from everywhere else in this asylum had thankfully lowered themselves to a dull roar. She thought back to how she had handled this problem before, and realized that focusing on a singular sound (i.e. her heartbeat) helped to nullify the sounds of the world around her. Which was great news on her part, because, unlike last time, her head had decided to ride the tilt-a-whirl at breakneck speeds without much hope of stopping for a while. She almost missed the throbbing. At least she knew with confidence that she would be able to walk in a straight line. Now, however...not so much.

"Ngh..." She winced a little, debating on whether or not to open her eyes as she the white glare from florescent lighting didn't sound too appealing at the moment. 'I've lost too much blood...I think...' The thought worried her a little, but she decided that it wasn't too much of a problem if she was only a a little light-headed.

Okay, well, more than a little, but no one needed to know that.

She realized that Jayden's voice was no longer near them anymore (though if she focused, she could still hear him talking to himself from down the hall) and wondered if the two had gotten into an argument. Darryl didn't seem like the type of guy to leave a erm...'civilian' to fend for themselves, so there must have been a good reason...

Juliet blearily cracked an eye open to look up at Darryl, grimacing a little at the light, "What...happened...?" Her voice sounded weird, as though she was speaking through a garbled radio and a megaphone at the same time, "...Sorry for...er...blacking out..."

The whole situation was confusing enough without social awkwardness getting in the way...

User ImageDarryl had already started walking once Jayden was out of sight, his frown sticking. A 'person' was following Jayden? Wow...talk about a situation. Totally F.U.B.A.R..

Jason speaking up had the cop stop his stride for a moment, looking down at the boy with a touch of concern. What happened? Oh, how to sum it up...

"Let's see...Twiggy is a stubborn kid trying to act like a grown man, and I'm not quite too sure about his sanity. Talks to himself a lot." Darryl continued his walking. "Went off to go see who was calling and yelling earlier." The detective sounded quite irritated with that fact, too. "Oh, yeah, and we're trying to find those computers you keep hearing. You gotta lead me, kid, cause I can't hear what you do."

Darryl wanted to smoke, again. He normally didn't chainsmoke like this, but damn...this was a little too much, already. And a pack of cigarettes could only last a man so long.

[Daisuke: Section B - hallway]

(( no one heard me? phooey - *tries again*))

There wasn't much change in his situation from one train of minutes to another. And with each failure it just drove his anxiety further. Could it be that his brother wasn't herethough? He could be freaking out over him for nothing, when he should be worrying about his own well being instead?

No- his instincts were never wrong. Tsuiyo was here. There was no doubt.
Besides maybe he could ask something like -

' THEM! '

At last his luck was starting to change!
Around the next turn Daisuke finally caught sight of 3 people. 2 youths, and an older man who held one of the two in his arms.
The sight was a little odd- but at this point he would take anything.

"H-Hey! Hey you!" Daisuke quickly closed the distance between him and them with a nearly mad dash. He was gasping for breath when he finally reached them.

"..He...*breath* hey... uhh.. w-where. A-re...oh man." Where to begin?what should he ask first?
He knew exactly what to ask first.
"H- Have you seen my little brother? He's about waist height on me at the most, with blue hair. You can't miss someone like that."
