The Spearow was not buying the trap, in fact did not even notice or even smell the berries from her distance. This frustrated Tim & figured screw it & weaken it. He then runs up to the Spearow with Mankey, the Spearow immediately corkscrew charges after Mankey with a drill peck on after quickly noticing Tim & his pokemon, knocking Mankey down after getting drilled in the chest, getting up slowly, staggering from the hit, hurt badly.
"Dammit! Mankey, you alright?" Tim was starting to panic heavily, Mankey unable to respond due to the battle.

(I hope it's alright about this capture on the Spearow later on in the posting.)

One extra question: I was just curious about battling wild pokemon or trainers that have pokemon at least 2 or 3 levels higher than you & knocking the pokemon out [regardless if it's a 2 on 2 or solo fight], if there's an extra 15 exp added just for taking a hell of a beating or another acception?)

Tim was regretting chasing towards the spearow big time cause now he was in deep trouble. Mankey was hit heavily in the chest due to fighting < flying. A level 5 possible gain if Mankey survives this fight was going through his mind, while also thinking of Mankey's safety.
Tim finally made up his mind & figured it was ok to take a risk for this one.
"Mankey, don't hold back & dodge what you can while hitting her with an Aerial Ace!" Mankey immediately charges after Spearow, doing a quick front flip & exposes his claws, Spearow just hesitating slightly, costing her a chance to evade, getting hit with a critical in the face, cheaply paralyzing Mankey with a glare attack right after the attack, staggering heavily backwards as Mankey could not move now due to glare.

The Spearow broke free of the ball, still staggering, officially frustrating Tim to a whole new level, flat-out telling Mankey to trip it up with a low kick. Mankey could not execute the maneuver due to paralysis, allowing Spearow to use a Double Team, making images of herself, confusing Mankey.
"Goddamn you!" Tim freaks, picking up a rock & throwing it towards the Spearow along with a second pokeball.

(note: I should be posting this in Viridian, but for 1 post then a lead back to route 2?)
After the frustration he went through capturing the Spearow, Tim, after exiting route 2 & into Viridian, suddenly guns it to the poke centre, turning a left right after passing the centre, walking through the doors, gunning to the nurse, handing over his pokemon to be healed, then takes a seat near the PC. Puffing & panting, he takes his cellphone out of his left jacket pocket & calls his brother in Cinnibar Island.
"Yuri, I just caught my first Pokemon, a nice 5th level Spearow. Bleedin thing almost took out Mankey though..." It was going to be a little bit of time before Mankey & Spearow were fully healed, & knowing this, Tim kept talking to his brother on the cellphone until his pokemon were ready.

(forget it. I'm not wasting anymore time asking questions. For the love of god, I'm a vet of the gen 1 pokemon games & I'm talking like a beginner!)
The pokemon that Tim had healing were finally finished, the nurse calling for him, forcing Tim to quickly end his call.
"I got to go brutha. Talk to ya after my first badge." He replies, turning his cellphone off, gunning it to his balls, grabbing them, heading out the door.
Once he exited the centre, Tim immediately sends Mankey & Spearow out of their balls, Mankey very happy for the healing, Spearow a bit ticked about being captured, but understood afterwards, the 3 heading back into route 2, Tim suffering from a headache he had capturing the Spearow.

Right after entering the grass, a couple Ratattas blindside Tim & tries to bite one of his wrists. The 2 Ratattas succeed & get a viscious bite into his right wrist, Tim now screaming in pain, since the wound was deep.
"Get off of me!" He screams, trying to shake the 2 off of him, succeeding, but barely, the 2 Ratattas only about 6 inches away from him, Spearow focusing on one of them & same with Mankey, having a good feeling for a good fight.
Tim was in so much pain in his wrist, holding it with his left hand & clinching his teeth, he couldn't make any orders, crouched down, nodding to Mankey & Spearow to take the 2 Ratattas out, but to be careful.
(I hope this is allowed despite this normally would not happen in neither the anime or the games, but meh. It's a type of situation I'd like to try out to further refine my character later on.)

(It'll only be a rare occasion... promise you that. The idea though is referring to his backstory about his crippled brother)
The battle begun in the southern grassy part of route 2, the 2 Ratattas positioning for a side-attack, one charging at Mankey [left of the trainer] with a viscious bite, the other for Spearow, planning to trip it up with an Iron Tail, edging quickly to Spearow. Mankey, waiting for Ratatta to come to him, starts digging into the ground, preparing to sucker Ratatta once pinned or distracted. Spearow quickly prepares the timing for a glare just befor she is tripped up & flinch, making her open to another attack.
Tim, desperate, takes his left hand off his right wrist, rips a piece of cloth off his denim pants, trying to wrap the cloth around his wrist to stem the pain, keeping an eye on his own pokemon despite he knew he needed to return to the centre.
