Cam had heard about the prom, and was hoping Brad would ask her out. But she knew he liked Jamie... a lot. But Jamie wants Stachio', but then again, so does Brenda.
Cam sighed, thinking about how complicated they all were, then laughed. Cam tried to hold back her laugh as she saw the look on Brenda's face when Stachio' and Jamie kissed.
Good for her! Cam thought towards Jamie.
"Hey, I have to go to. Catch up with ya'll later. Bye Jamie! By Stachio!" She yelled over to them as they walked away. "Bye Brenda, bye Brad." She waved good bye and headed off towards her own car.
Everytime she mention or thought Brad's name, she couldn't help but smile and blush.
What could she say? She had a major crush on Brad, and has for a long time.

Cam was right, Jamie couldn't really see her smiling but she knew Cam well enough to have guessed correctly. She laughed "Yeah, its fine with me." Jamie heard the line go dead and rolled her eyes. She muttered "poor Cam" while watching Cam drive away. She wanted Brad to like Cam. She would do anything. Cam was her best friend, Jamie wanted her to end up with the guy of her dreams. She stared out her window silently plotting ways to get Cam and Brad together. Cam honked when she was right next to Jamie. "Hey, you want to come over today?" She asked. She looked behind her and saw Brad. She sighed and looked at Jamie again. Cam put her brown hair in to a ponytail at her neck, so when she went on the freeway her hair wouldn't blow everywhere. "I have to babysit my little brother, but you still can come if you want to." She explained. Cam glanced at the clock and looked back up. "Call me later, I have to go. I'm running late. Bye!" She waved bye to Jamie and Stachio and drove home. Once she was on the freeway she turned her radio up. Jamie smiled "Yeah sure I'll come later." Jamie followed Cam's gaze and saw Brad in his car. She smiled and waved as Cam pulled out of the parking lot and got on the freeway. She waved frantically for Brad to stop. He pulled into the parking space next to her and rolled down his window. "Yes?" he asked a bit mad about earlier. Jamie didn't care. She smiled at him. "Hey, I'm going to Cam's house later, you wanna come" she asked. "maybe" he replied. "ok, bye then." Jamie waved and rolled up her window. Cam's parents just left and Cam was stuck with her brother. She romed around the house absently, thinking about Brad. She knew he was a little mad about Jamie and Stachio.

Cam laughed as Jamie did, while saying "Yes, I'm thinking about him. Is that okay with you?" She pulled out of the parking space and drowve to Jamie, hanging up the phone before saying bye. She searched for the phone and as usual found it "hiding" in her sisters room. She never put it back. She dialed Cam's phone number and waited for her to answer.

Cam heard the phone ringing from the other room, while making Andrew his lunch. "Here you go..." She hurridly set the plate down on the kitchen table and ran to the living room, plopping on the couch and answered the phone.
"Hey, Jamie!" She smiled, still thinking about Brad. "Whats up?" Cam's voice was just a little off, but only one person could tell what it meant when it was a little higher than normal; Jamie. Cam's best friend for years.
Cam started plying with a strand of hair, twirling it in bewtween her fingers. She stared up at the ceiling, waiting for Jamie to say something.
