"The only problem is that someone else who holds a vendetta against Blaze might remove the Materia in an attempt to sabotage him. The best course of action would be to help him regain his emotions naturally. We'd also have to restore his sanity," Sephiroth stated. He turned his head, looking out the window, and saw Frost on the edge of the building. "What exactly is she doing up there?"

"I know... I've gone through it all too, having the same experiments but... I wasn't as cruel as he was. I was out of line flirting with him when you two were dating but... I don't know, I just... thought he was different," Frost stated. She sighed in frustration, her eyes opening. "Every guy I'd met before him... they seemed nice, but when I actually dated them... they were so much different, cruel.

"The boyfriend I had before I started flirting with Blaze was the worst of them all. When I told him I was breaking up with him he... he..." she said, trailing off as the haunting memory returned.

"I know... I would see him in the hallways of the ShinRa building walking to the training room. I'd follow him in, and he'd be in his dragon form, working off the aggression of his second personality," Frost stated. Her gaze shifted to Bella. "That was only at the beginning. Later on, he wouldn't even make it to the training room before he became a dragon.

"He left during the night to protect you, Bella. He was always thinking about you, even when the aggressive personality was taking control," she finished. She held a writing pad in her hands, writing in it as she thought.

"Well... there's something I didn't tell you about what happened in the training room. When he was in his dragon form, and in a scenario where he and his allies were fighting Wutai soldiers... the dragon form wouldn't distinguish friend from foe when it unleashed its attacks," Frost stated. She continued to write in the pad as she spoke. Upon closer inspection, they could be seen as lyrics for a song. "Just like the Sword of Flames. He didn't want you to get hurt or worse while you were sleeping."

((Yeah. And only 2k more and I can start the Someone to Love guild, yay!))

"Yeah... though I'm only just getting started. It's sort of a sad song, written about Blaze," Frost stated honestly. She sighed wistfully. "I would've thought he'd be able to have a much easier time controlling the experiments than I did. I've been able to keep them in check now, and regained my emotions."

"Well, other than being a SOLDIER, I found another outlet for my emotions. I focused on drawing, writing, and lately, songwriting," Frost answered. She let out a sigh, as she looked at her sheet of lyrics. "We used to be friends before we joined SOLDIER and now... he just tossed me aside." She closed her eyes, the lyrics etched into the paper also etched into her memory.

"You told me
You'd never change
But I see now, it was all a lie

What happened to the guy I used to know?
Where did your kindness go?" she sang. Her lilting voice rang out to the 7th Heaven bar, catching Sephiroth's keen hearing.

"Well, she has a lovely voice as well," Sephiroth remarked.

Frost looked at Bella and smiled. "Your voice is amazing Bella. Sephiroth should count himself lucky." She looked down at the street below, her thoughts on Blaze. "If I can help in anyway to bring his emotions back, I will. I just want my friend back. We used to sing together all the time, before we went off to join SOLDIER.

"And at that time, we were still friends, until Hojo experimented on him. After that... he lost all memories of his childhood, including our friendship. And... I went under the experiments not to impress him, but to be there for him to support him, and show him that he's not alone," she finished.

Blaze regained consciousness again, picking himself off of the ground. "Ugh..."
