"You...alone..."
The creature raised his hand and pointed a boney finger at the water. "Mway these waters reflect the coldest stare of the great Spire Mountains." A bright like engulf the area suddenly, but it left as soon as it came. There before Gwen stood a still river that was completely turned to solid ice straight down to the river's bed. The ice looked like diamonds allowing anyone to see through it with ease.
The creature twiched violently before giving off screeching laughter. He turned to Gwen, walking towards her. "Sooooo predictable."

Gwen couldn't believe what she saw. She just hoped that they were alright. "Why?" she stood straight as she backed up on to the ice. 'Why does it want me alone?' she thought.
Kaida had Sebastian on her back. Luckily, when the river was frozen, both of their heads were above the water.

'Crap! How did he know I was a rider?' she thought. AS soon as she heard that the King had requested her, she knew her father was right. She turned around and started to run, knowing she had little hope of escaping.

As Gwen ran throughout the town the creature laughter began to echo through it. "Run, RUN my dear. Run as fast as you can!!!!" Where ever Gwen ran to the unnerving fog followed her.
Soon the wind began to pick up. Suddenly Gwen felt the cold, foul breath on her neck once more, "I hope you are not easily sickened..." The creature shadow engulfed her form.

The cold had nearly chilled her to the bone when he cam up behind her, the fog thick around them. 'Just great, I hope Relena is ok,' she thought as the shadow fell over her. "No, but I wish I was," Gwen spoke before spitting on his foot.

The creature swooped up Gwen in one of his arms and throw her over his shoulder before shooting up into the sky. His laughter echoed around the town and only increased as Gwen fought to get freed. His action only feuled his amusement.
It was time that boy of Bullridge owned up to his words.

Gwen absolutely hated this. All of her stuff was at Sebastian's house and he was frozen in the river with Kaida. She could only hope that Erica and Julia would be able to free them.

((Continued from Ceunon"))
With the sun starting to rise against their back Sang and Surete had finally found their target. Letting out a relieved groan Sangs beast started an instant descent. with the thick storm cloud still resting over the city they both knew that things were about to get fun. Sang huddled down into his dragons scales as they ripped into the clouds. whispering his dragons eyes spell he eventually looked up getting smacked in the face with a blasting gust of wind. he nearly fell backwards but he led on. the roaring of his dragons mighty wings were still braking through the thunderous clashes of lighting going on around them.
"We need to land soon Surete, I'll look for the scorce on my own. you rest up and find some food. what ever this thing is its going to be hungry." Sang shouts into the air just moments before his mighty ride took a quick but soft landing on the soaked ground. her talons sinking in almost fully from her weight made /sang jump from her back and she instantly took back into the sky. off to find her self and the voice a bite to eat. as well as a good place to rest for what ever comes next.

The cry was much louder now. Even so, the people of Yazuac still move on with their daily lives like nothing was amiss. No one seemed to notice that noise of the pleading cry of help that was filling with sadness and agony. What was even worst, was that no one noticed the frozen waters that normally flowed all throughout the town. Waters that always claimed lives.
Though, to anyone with experiences that only the past granted to see the waters frozen all the way down to the bed and heard the cry. Luckily the people of Yazuac made a point of staying away from the raging waters and whoever casted the illusion spell to decieved everyone else was counting on that. Counting that no one exposed it!
Greatly.
Sang moved throughout the town, tracking the spell to its origins. Sadly it help that the crying was guiding him as well. For once he wished he could track the origin point without an victims help.
There in the center of town, where largest open body of water that normally swirled around like madness itself laid a purple and pink dragon with only her long neck and head above the ice. Even her wings were trapped beneath the cold ice. Right next to her was a older man with only the top most part of his shoulders and head exposed above the ice. He gave actions to show he heard the cry or felt the dragon occasional nudge with her nose. His body was deathly pale with ice beginning to form on it. Below the ice one could see that the dragon had raised its paw just as the waters froze to attempt to get the man out of harms way, but was only able to succeed slightly.
Dragon wipped her head all around, crying at everyone that passed around her. Hoping they would hear her. She clearly no longer cared if a nonrider saw her. She was scared and fear for not only her life but human her rider had asked her to protect before vanishing somewhere she could not track or follow. Everytime she thrashed her neck around, the ice creaked at her but gave no other sign of giving away to her freedom.

Kaida heard Surete's wings beating against the wind and let out one last roar for help. She turned her head to look at Sebastian and nudged him slightly, hoping that he was still conscious.

Sangs heart nearly sank into the depths of his soul as he caught sight of the young dragon caught in the ice. 'What sort of animal would do this?" He asks himself shortly before he vaults over the siding of the city's board walks. landing with a thud Sangs legs nearly buckled down to the ground but he eventually caught himself. the ice was rough but solid. something that was not normal in nature. or at least not on an ocean. Surete, have you found some food?"" Sang asks his dragon getting a short huff of joy filling his mind. Taking that as a yes he starts walking towards the odd couple. "This is going to be a challenge." Still speaking to himself Sang reaches his hands out in front of him making a square with his thumbs and pinkies. whispering 're della mente, dei della terra. assegnarmi questo piccolo difetto nei vostri sensi e riempirlo di vita. prendere la mia mente e quella strega che offre e darla a questo vaso.' to himself he opens his eyes. doing his best to keep his power under control and not totally invade the mind of the dragon and of the man. his mind would force his body to accept the effects teh ice was taking on the two of them but if he played his cards right he would be able to forge a temporary link with their minds. letting him talk to them as if they were people awake and right next to him.
"Hello there little one." sang starts off trying to calm the dragon down enough for him to be able to work. "i know you might be a bit wary of strangers, but i can help you. and your companion. but to do that i need you to calm your self. your thrashing will only bring about injuries. He pleads softly as he approaches the duo. his hand out strestched to make sure he kept his balence on the ice.

"As long as you don't work for the King, you are free too help," she said as she stopped moving. She caught hints of Relena's aura intertwined with his. 'Durza will pay for this,' she thought to her self.

"Would i be asking permission if i worked for the king? Sang comments with a warm smile on his lips. as he stepped out a bit quicker getting to the young dragons side just in time to take a quick spill and end up on his face, one of his hand extended out in an attempt to catch himself, witch failed. but when his body came to a halt his hand was softly resting against the dragons neck. he soft thick leather like scales reminded him much of Suretes when she was a fledgling. shaking his head softly Sang got himself back on his feet.
"how long has it been sense you were hatched?" Sang continues wiping the ice off his clothing as his eyes were studding the slab that had entrapped them both. Seeing the old man his heart stopped beating for a moment, and his eyes jumped open in shock.
"He is first." He comments openly into the air as he takes a few steps away. Clasping his hands together he forms the shape of a temple in his fingers placing his thumbs to his lips as he recites
"signori del sole, re delle stelle e padroni del mare. mi conceda la vostra protezione e guida. portare potenza e forza per la mia carne che non ha mai visto prima e tenermi da ogni male." Finishing off his chant his hands instantly start to glow in fire there heat becoming instantly prevalent as the rain around them was turning to mist before it touched his body. "I give this gift to you my friend. it will keep you warm and free you from the ice." He whispers softly as he reaches out his hand towards Sebastion Swirling his fingers around to look like he was holding on to something he let out a deep breath pushing the flames from his skin onto the mans scalp.
Once the flames touched his skin all of the heat and power left Sangs side and started working down Sebastions form. melting the surrounding ice and eventually braking him free enough that sang could pull him up from the pit that held his body. but not before casting the same spell on The young dragon, it took a bit longer to coat the dragons body in the flame but it worked none the less.

"Good point. But you can never be too careful," she told him. "Close to two months now."
She waited till the ice around her was soft enough before breaking it the rest of the way and climbing out of it. Kaida flexed her tail and wings to get the rest of the ice off of them. "Thank you. She dipped her head in a bow as she spoke.
