Shanara chuckled nudging her old friend with her shoulder. "Yeah, those where some.... intreasting times. Sires and Shyde are excclent carptores, but I understand about the wiring and plumbing. If you don't mind looking after Vana and Douglas I'll start making the aragments today. Plans, subcontractors, the whole bit." She reached over snatching an apple, taking a huge bite. "You know Jun and Lathe are going to go nuts, being able to decrote a huge house to everyone's tastes. And we might want to add a few extra rooms, just in case we get some more kids."
Douglas watched as the toddlar looked about to cry as she looked up Lucien. She shook her head, "No.... You tried to sting me with your tail. When you where little." The Seahorse man watched, wondering what might have happned before.

"Should be fun to see what they come up with for all of the rooms." She said with a bit of a laugh. Poor Lucien was going to have to fight to get his room done up in the dark colors that he preferr if he got those two working against him on it. She couldn't help but giggle at the idea of him in a pastel room, "Yeah, extra rooms would be a good idea. A basement would be nice too if we could swing it, storage." She murmured. Then smiled, "Sounds like so much fun! I can't wait. I wanna help with the floor plans." She squealed, tail wagging.
Lucien glanced over at her then shrugged, "If it moved I stung it when I was little. I'm more careful about it now that I am more dangerous." He said then got up to his feet, no longer hungry, "I have some things I need to get too." He said then turned to head out of the room.
Yukito watched his brother go then looked at Parvana, "Don't mind him. He's had a rough couple days it seems."

Shanara chuckled, getting up, "I'll get on home, start making phone calls, and send Sires your way so you two can start on that end. It should be well on it's way by the end of the day." She laughed, finding an extra pair of flip flops to use on the walk back up to her house. "Actully we might consider keeping the two old houses, in case once the older kids grow up and want places of thier own, that way they still can stay close."
Douglas watched the older boy leave and the little girl sit back looking misrable. He looked around the table, smiling a little "Exuse me. I'll be back in a little bit." He mummred softly. He managed to make it up the staires on his own, finding the Scorpion in his room. He knocked softly on the door jam waiting for a response.

Rayne tilted her head to the side then nodded, "Thats true. Might as well plan for the future." She was sure that her sons weren't planning on staying with her forever. Now that she thought about it Devmani was building his own place and he was a teen. She gave a little sighing sound, that meant what? That Lucien may end up wanting the same thing soon?
"It would be nice to have them close if they do decide to move." She told Shanara then stretched out all over, "Give me a ring when you get a hold of some of the people. Let me know how its going alright? I will keep an eye on things here."
Then she blinked looking into the diningroom realizing that Douglas and Lucien were gone, "Huh?"
Lucien lifted his head from what he was looking at, an old picture he had fished out from under his bed. He looked over at the seahorse then tilted his head to the side, "What? Is there something you need?"

Douglas sruged, "A seat maybe?" He smirked, then cleared his throught when the other guy didn't seem to find it to funny. "I just wanted to check on you. I know we really don't know each other.... but as nice as your family has been to me, I thought maybe I could return the favor." He glanced over at the chair, but didn't want to invade the Scorpion's space without an invation. "I don't think she ment offend you. She is always so nice, and you seem pretty nice yourself."

Lucien got up to his feet and made a motion, "Sit if you like." He said, referring to his bed and then listened to the others words and shrugged, "Its fine, I know that she meant no harm its just been one of those... er... times."
He stretched out all over then let his tail lash back and forth, "If your worried about me you don't need to be. I will survive the words of a little girl. I assure you."

Douglas nodded greatfuly as he took a seat on the end of Lucien's bed, sighing softly. His feet never seemed to stop aching these days. The blond boy looked down at his round belly and sighed, it seemed to get bigger each day. After a moment he nodded, "I know what you mean, and I know... for me at least.... there where days where I can't be sure if I would have survived a little girl's words."

Lucien glanced over at the blond, trying to determine whether or not he was being sarcastic or not but it was hard to tell, hard to really read him at the moment, "Ahh... yeah." He said, tail flicking back and forth as he moved over to tuck the picture he had been holding away before turning back to him, "If you like you can camp out in here. Nothing to important or dangerous really laying around in here." He offered deciding that it didn't matter one way or the other if the sea horse was being sarcastic.
He had no idea what was going on so he couldn't expect him to take Lucien's words the right way.

Douglas smiled, "Actully I'm still kinda hungery. Just thought I come up and introduce myself, since I'll be around for at least a little longer." He struggled for a bit to sit up, giving up for the moment and leaning back. "I'm not sure if they told you, but I'm Douglas."

"I was told about you by Eros." He told the sea horse then gave a sigh, he looked a little... he didn't want to say pathetic as that wasn't very nice but it was close to the word he was looking for. It seemed that he wasn't even able to get off the bed on his own at the moment. No doubt due to the pregnancy weighing him down? He shrugged them moved over to the bed and held out his hand to the sea horse to help him up.
"Here, I can help you up." He offered, "And I'm Lucien."

Douglas's face flushed in frustration, taking his hand after a moment. "Sasarai told me a little about you." Even with Lucein's help it took him a couple moments for him to stand up. He sighed, a little out of breath, smiling a little at him, "Thanks. It seems to get harder to do simple things all the time."

Lucien nodded, funny that the two of them knew something about each other only because of outside forces telling them things about the other person. Very odd indeed, "I'm sure that you will be back to do things in no time, you know when your no longer..." He made a sort of motion with his claw as if he say something without words. He didn't want to outright say that he would feel better after he was no longer pregnate, he seemed about as secretive with it as Lucien was with most everything.

Douglas looked down at his belly, hugging it for a moment. He had never thought about it, before he had been trying to figure out how to deal with his pregnacey, he hadn't thought about what he would do after the baby was born. He sighed, "We had better get back down to breakfast, don't you think?"

He laughed, "I suppose that we can go down and finish up breakfast. I really would like to get a good meal before I start the day." He had no idea what he would be up to after all.

Journal Entry via Rayne Its been of late... hectic, getting Douglas settled in, chasing after the boys that I already have and there are a lot of them, the plans for the new place that Shanara and I are building/getting ready to move into, and coutless other things that have to do with one of the above things we feel a bit out of water but as always good. Douglas is a sweet kid if not a bit to shy about his condition, not that I blame him for his embaressment. After all he is a HE that is with child. He's got himself some strange eating habits but after raising Lucien I'm no longer suprised by all that much when it comes to people and what they preferr to eat. Douglas seems to get along with my boy Sasarai and they have talked a lot and hung out a lot. I wonder at times what they discuss and what will happen to Sasa when the babies are born and Douglas, if he so decides it, leaves and doesn't come back. I don't want for him to be upset or think that the sea horse was only pretending to be friends with him or something. Dinner tonight is something that Eros whipped up with Douglas in mind, a sort of Japanese dish that consists of a lot of different sea food and veggies and various other things tossed together into a big pot and cooked up. I don't know the details of it only that he's been working hard on getting his dish, and the side dishes, right since he wants it perfect. He's getting almost to good at cooking. Why do I suck so bad at it? Anyways I gotta go. To much to do, to many people to run circles after, and Shanara and her family has yet to arrive. Should be interesting, it always is. hehehe - Rayne
