Kitika shifted inside the saddle bag just enough to get the flap of the bag to raise so she could look out with one of her beedy blue eyes. They were still very close to the city, and she determined it was best to lay low for the remainder of this day, and perhaps part of the next so that they could get far enough away from home, so that the captain would not attempt to whisk her back to her brother as soon as she was found. So with that in mind she settled back down in the saddle pack on Lightning's rump to take a nap.

"I do hope we will not encounter any trouble. Let's just hope this is a regular mission to obtain information and this does not lead to us in any fights,"Samantha proclaimed.

"Hope all you want Sam. but I have never been on a mission before, that didnt' get at least a little exciting, and while a peaceful journey would be appreciated once in a while, I have my doubts that this will be one of them" Riley responded to Samantha alot more casually then she had spoken to the other women when they had been in the gardens.

"I suppose you are right. Very few of these missions seem to be without something happening,"Samantha agreed with a nod. She was used to Riley using more formal speech with her when they were in the public parts of the city and using a more casual tone with her when elsewhere. They had been friends for a very long time, so it was normal.

Riley continued on in silence for a while, sticking to the road, and watching as the wind ruffled the tall grasses around them, and the city walls faded into the distance.

"It is really quite lovely out today. I just hope it stays this way for the remainder of our journey cause I don't want to get soaked,"Samantha admitted with a gently laugh.

Riley looked up to the sky and turned her head to the left to let the wind blow apon her cheek. She sat that way for a while, as Hellsbane continued at her easy fast walk, before saying "Well Sam, I believe you are in luck, the weather shouldn't change much for the next couple days" and as she said that she turned back to face the road ahead of her.

"Well that's good to hear, cause you know how my hair gets when it is wet. It is quite a mess,"Samantha laughed.

Ellen continues walking following the two up ahead. Lateef looks around sees the beautiful sun start to set just off to the right. The horizon is starting to turn a beautiful mixture of pink, yellow and blue.

Riley cracks a smile at Sam's comment about her hair, they had been on to many rainy trips together for her to ever forget what happened when the other girls hair got wet. As she thinks of those past trips she notices the setting sun's light beaming in her eye, and glances breafly at the sunset, then she looks around for a place to camp for the night, and spots a suitable cluster of trees just ahead off of the right side of the path, she steers Hells, off the road towards the cluster of trees, and apon reaching them just moments later, she dismounts, removes hell's saddle and bags and leaves her mare to wander around freely. She was not worried that Hellsbane would go anywhere, they got along to well for the mare to run away.

Lateef followed over to the trees. She dimounted from Ellen and took off Ellen's bridle and saddle. She pulls out a halter and lead rope from the bag, and puts it on Ellen. She then pulled out a hand full of grain and gave it to Ellen. When Ellen was done eating, Lateef detatched the lead rope and let Ellen wander around with the halter on. (knowing that she was the only one who could catch her mare with or with out the halter, but the halter reminded Ellen that she would get in trouble if she did not come to Lateef.)

After setting the saddle and bags on the ground, Riley begins to use her boot to kill and brush away the newly dead grass from a small area, she then mounds the dirt up around the edges of the circle and goes to gather fire wood and tinder for them to make a small fire for dinner.

Lateef leaves the lead rope by her bags, so that if there is an emergancy she can quickly grab the rope and do what is needed to be done. She then sees her sister collecting fire wood and decided to go help her. " So sis, what size wood would you like me to fetch?"

Samantha had gotten to the others and dismounted from Lightning. Then she took the stuff off the horse and allowed him to go get a little exercise. She knew she could call to the horse when the time came. The white fox stayed on Samantha's shoulder and Samantha held her staff in her hands.
