I watched the dragon fly in the air and noticed all too late that I was being captured.I gasped as the darkness swallowed me, and I passed out as my body Morphed.
I saw as Fifenloor was captured. She collapsed and I knew she would, with the creature she was becoming and all. I landed on the ground and raised my head high in the air with my tail as a balance and watched with saddened eyes to the transformation I knew better than to try and stop.

I came to and found my senses lacking... I picked myself up and saw that I could no longer see as well, hear as well, or sense as well as I used to. I felt terrified but the over whelming sense of fear and sorrow drowned my ability to think. Then without noticing it i let my hands fly to my face. They touched my lips, my nose, my hair, all seemed all right... until I hit my ears. I then gasped and bent over in tears as I was horrified.
I am human.

The delicate smell of elf was slowly replaced by the repulsive stench of Human. Giz reeled back in disgust. Of all things, it had turned into a filthy human.

I went to her, my body floating above the ground and coming to her as gently and as silently as a breeze. I coiled my body and welcomed her to my neck where she could ride me with her hands on my horns for support. The blackness that infests this place makes you immune to the diseases this air harbors, but only for a short while, and human lungs cannot withstand such toxins.
I was scared and purely terrified. It isn't normal for any creature to have this many emotions, nor is it normal to feel so helpless, worthless, and vulnerable. I know Thintaldor's my friend, but I can't sense if it's truly her or an illusion, and nor could I see through the illusion if there was one.
But I know what I must do, and so struggling against my fears I climbed on and she shot through the air, hollering to the purple dragon s we left, "It'd be wise of you to leave."

I snorted at the unwise dragon. He was lost, his will too weak at the moment to fight the seed implanted by the dark demon. I flew out of the cave and landed as a leaf on the ground and Fifenloor fell to the ground in fear and terror.
I shook on all fours as the rush of emotions boxed me around. I just felt happy that the small amount of relief surged to me from leaving that place, so terror didn't drown out all my senses.

Giz laughed aloud and trotted over to the rats. His mind was addled by the dark, so as he prodded a dead rat with a claw, he didn't realize he was being tainted with evil.

((Sorry went on a writing tangent. If you don't like this, once I finished writing it I noticed I went on a God mode tangent, pm me and tell me what you want changed and I'll edit it.))
I fell on my back and choked on the fresh air as cursed the name of the Dragon King. "He is such a fool," I spat, "He must have sensed the danger but he dived in there anyway."
"Perhaps he thought it was best to do," Thintaldor responded.
I flashed my eyes to her, and said, "A wind dragon... I couldn't see it well in my human form but now it's obvious, you are a wind dragon."
"Yes. I am."
"The you should have gained the wisdom, no?"
"That I have,"
"Then there is no excuse. You know the truth of it: He is a fool. Being human it may be harder to control my thoughts, but my knowledge is still about me."
"You are right," She agreed, "But he did it for hose he cared for most, which in your human form you certainly know how that motive can drive."
Fifenloor looked away, angered. She hated being wrong but with my new found wisdom it would be hard to prove herself a liable opponent.
"So tell me," She continued, "How will we rid ourselves of this curse?"
"The earth has been struck by a sickness, one not of this world. The evils that traced this world made it weak, and when the sickness came it engulfed it."
"Please, further elaborate."
"There was a tear between this world and the underworld, and a monster stole into our world and inhabited the core of the earth. It feeds off the evil we do and it grows. It has grown larger and larger in size that it now is tearing the outer edge of the earth it inhabits. The only way to rid ourselves of it is to find a creature from it's world or another capable of destroying it.."
"And that would be...?"
"I have no Idea."

The beast in the cavern wrapped a long writhing arm around Giz. Long spikes grew from the tentacles, piercing Giz's shoulders and back. Giz continued to prod the dead rat, smiling. The spikes grew until they impaled Giz's heart. Microscopic roots spread in Giz's heart. Black flooded from the roots, engulfing his heart until it was a shadow of what it originally was. The black flowed in his veins, eating him like acid. The beast flowed under Giz's scales and swam through him like a spirit to his heart. It shrank until it was the size of Giz's heart. It opened a wide gaping maw of glittering teeth and swallowed his heart. It latched its tentacles to the arteries of the heart and began to pump black through Giz. Giz still took no notice of the evil within him.

I felt the presence over take him as I knew it would. Grasping her gently in my jaw I launched from the island and searched for safer lands.
I felt her teeth wrap around me and an emotion of absolute helplessness over took me, yet I still knew she would never harm me. While we were leaving though, a sick premonition enveloped my dull human senses.
Evil has come.

I sliced through the air with the aerial mastery of the North and South wind, but I knew that escape would do me no good. As long as Fifenloor was human her stench couldn't be forgotten, and as long as Giz is seeded all who roam the upper lands are at risk. I squinted my eyes as I searched the vast caverns my Wind Dragon Mind kept, but I knew that one even wiser than I is needed.
I held on tightly, but the feel of evil didn't leave me, despite the speed Thintaldor flew. I was scared.

Darkness gave power to this Dragon King, I knew so. I also knew that the further away from the fissure we were, the slower the seed was going to grow. The thing I knew that made me truly scared though, was that the darkness could sprout from everywhere.
