I've been two times to Germany and I love this country. I used to learn german language at school (as a 3rd language) but last year I changed my school and I forgot a lot. Aber ich will deutsch sprechen. I need to revise my lessons, I think I can't speak german anymore 矧.

I have a couple questions I hope someone here can help me with. I'm majoring in Animal Science but I'm not going to go to Vet school. My german professor told me that I should say, "Ich studiere Tier medizin" but I'm wondering if that would only be my major if I was studying to become a vet... because I'm not really studying animal medicine.

Also, does anyone know how to say Microbiology, Anthropology, and Organic and Biochemistry in German? We're supposed to write about our class schedule, and I can't find these words in either of my dictionaries.

Thanks.

'Tiermedizin' would be written together. 'Studieren' doesn't indicate whether it's a major or minor class. It just means that you are studying it in University.

Anthropology=Anthropologie
Microbiology=Mikrobiologie (but I'm not 100% sure)
Biochemistry=Biochemie
Organic Chemistry= Organische Chemie (Again, not really sure about this one...)

I hope I was able to help you a bit... Otherwise look here:dictionary

She told us to use lernen if we were just taking it as a class. She said studieren and Hauptfach both indicated major.

Does Tiermedizin imply that I'm studying to become a vet?

I don't mean to seem picky Proudly.. but you said 'ein bruder' but if I'm not mistaken, since 'bruder' is masculine, the indefinate artical would be 'einen'

and one thing I've been saying at school is: 'Mein Hintern sieht sehr schon in diese Hose aus.' I was just joking, but now I always say it! rofl Though I'm not sure if it would be 'diese Hose' or if it would be 'Dieser Hose' or if it would be 'Dies Hose'. But I just said 'Diese Hose'. I hope I said it right.... confused

erm.. that depents on the cause.. if you write "I have one brother" (in german: "Ich habe einen Bruder") than it's right. If you write "There is one brother in the household." (Da ist ein Bruder im Haushalt) than it's also right. 3nodding
and the right sentence is "Mein Hintern sieht sehr schoen in dieser Hose aus." whee

Pretty neat, I know most of what you said. (what is a "handy" sweatdrop )
It should be "Darf ich deine handynumber haben?"
