aww wait we could have used our old character sheets? T.T I had a 10 monk but i recreated him at 1 when i sent him...o well...I guess we'll just have to wait and see

AprilFaith21 i got a question if we have a character from the actual game can we use that as are character cause i have one that's level 12(13 with bonus)that i play with my family and my dads friend,i also have one that's with my bro and sis so we don't have to wait for a day that my dad and his friend are both off and that one is only level 1 and i want to use one(i'll only have one character though so i won't use the other one) just use proper punctuation, and you'll make me happy x_x;

But as an answer, no, you can't play old characters here. It's a level playing field, everyone starts at 1 with a brand spankin' new character, GMs included.
As for where to send character sheets, technically speaking, I like them in my PM box so I can post them myself and edit them properly when the time comes. Also, since I don't know a lot of the people who will potentially be playing or their ethics (Not that i'm accusing anyone) I don't want them to backtrack and suddenly have a +5 Greatsword of cheesemongery listed in their inventory. I haven't made a big deal out of people posting their own profiles so far because I knew and trusted the people doing it, but i've been considering going back and deleting those posts and putting it up myself just so it's uniform and kosher and I don't have people whining at me later for it. So, ultimately, just send me the character sheet and i'll put it up for you. I'm a happier fellow that way. 3nodding

fen, if i may...would you mind using the format i have in mine as the basis? XD
cause the one you have is just basically a statistical version...a skeleton, if you will: bare bones, and no meat on it
weapons, skills, feats, yes, but nothing about what the character looks like, what they've done, or even what gender they are.
also! might i suggest we pick colors to represent the languages, in where that someone speaking in a certain language would use the assign color to denote that. that way, you wouldn't really have to read over the entire thing that someone was insulting you in elven when you never knew elven to begin with, or complimented in Celetial, or what not. kind of an "I can speak that color" thing XD

I don't mind. Honestly, i'll just use whatever people send me, it doesn't have to be exactly the same stuff on every profile. That's just there to help people out.
As for the colors, I have two very practical reasons to say no: One, there are way to many languages, and more importantly, two, i'm colorblind. lol

really? o.o; i had no idea XD and i haden't thought of that, either. then...could you at least remember to mark where all of the mods are comming from? XD only seeing "+3+3+2-1" confuses me, cause i've no idea what's going where ._.;

Kairos So I'm still a little confused on the whole deity thing, haven't quite figured out that part of clerics yet... But I was also considering now, paladin. *nod* Gods matter, for clerics, because the god somewhat defines the belief system the cleric operates under as well as how people react to them. Mechanically, clerics have access to something called Domain Spells, which is, fundamentally, the ability to cast spells they might not otherwise be able to based on what kind of god you worship. All the DnD gods have several Domains and clerics get to choose two of them. They then can prepare one domain spell per level from their two domain lists (so they get to choose one of two spells for an extra spell slot each spell level). Each domain also gives some extra ability, like turning elementals as well as undead or extra healing powers or weapon proficiencies. You ought to try to pick a god within one space of your character on the alignment scale. For example, a Lawful Neutral character might want a god that would be Lawful Good, True Neutral, Lawful Evil, or Lawful Neutral, since they share alignment with that character to some extent. In other news, Code Geass R2 episode one has hit the internets! 4laugh

XP Actually I always assumed that whenever you started a character you started with some clothing on your back. If you wanted put purchase another set, say a royal outfit to impress the ladies, that you would have to buy on your own. I'll put down a Explorer’s outfit on my character sheet just so everyone knows there isn't a naked halfling running around.
