Jin walked down the street in animal form. a van drove pass and stopped a few feet ahead of him. a man got out holding a large net. the man put the net over him and threw jin into the back of the truck. the door slammed. a few other dogs were in the truck.What the he barked. jin slammed himself into the door. when it didn't work he faced the door and started to growl. the growling got deeper and a ball of fire appeared infront of him. he hit it with his tail and sent it flying into the door. there was an explosian and the doors were blown off. the car stopped emideatly and jin jumped out. Take that sucker he barked and ran off in the oppsite direction of the other dogs.

Natsumi looked up at him, not realizing tears were flowing down her cheeks. "hm?" She wiped her eyes, the tears stopped flowing, but her eyes met his, still set in a sad gaze.
"I don't...exactly know..." she whispered, her voice still a bit shaky, and more quiet than usual. The wind billowed past, and she realized she was wearing a tank top and shorts. She pulled her legs to her chest and shivered.
"I don't know if I will be able to go out there again, without being afraid...That wasn't the first time I have been injured...but...it was the first time I would've died....if you didn't help me....I would be in some cold morgue, somewhere....not breathing, not talking, not even crying like this...I would have no life...." she stood, starting to walk along the top edge of the roof, balancing as she walked towards him, and when she was just past him, she hit a wet spot and started to lose her balance, loosing her footing. She started to fall back, onto the flat part again, but even a foot drop would hurt up on this roof.
"wagh!"

The dog had gone and left with only a bark. She hadn't known why he did that and assumed he was trying to talk to her. Though that was odd since animals don't usually communicate with people. Naomi let him leave since she didn't think letting him stay was such a good idea anyway. It would only be a burden to her grandpa just like she was to him. A sigh escaped her lips as she got ready for school and headed out to the door.
Walking alone on the side walk like she normally did, she hadn't noticed the animal catchers van until that explosion just a few feet away from her made her head shot up to look what the heck had happened. Only to see big amount of dogs escaping from the smoky van. One in particular dog caught her eyes and she to a started step forward as she saw him make his escape. "Did I just see what I think I did?" Naomi asked herself before looking at her watch to see what time it was. She only had a few minute to get to school. Naomi shook her head for what she was about to do. Skipping school wasn't like her but she was curious to find out how such a mere animal no less than a dog escaped the van by explosion. Taking a head start dash she immediately followed after the brown canine.
Nyx looked at her with guilt. Wasn't she happy he had saved her life? His ears twitched at response to her words. He himself had been afraid to leave a safe and secure environment when he was very young. But fate changed him into being someone that took big risks just to survive.
Watching her as she walked over to him, he couldn't help but frown at how she was feeling about this whole situation. Natsumi wasn't scared of him but she was scared of others out there. Nyx was just as dangerous as any other crook roaming the streets. He hadn't noticed until last minute that she slipped and was about to fall off the roof. With sudden impulse and reflex of his body he grabbed her before she had anytime to make contact on the hard ground. Holding her by the hand, he pulled her up quickly before realizing that now she was in his embrace. Nyx looked at her a bit taken aback at his sudden actions of her seated on top of his lap.
Finally gaining his composure he pushed her gently to the side and stood up to go back in the room. "This makes it the second time I saved you.....please be careful next time." Nyx said before fully climbing into her room and shaking his head in a agitated manner.

Jin stopped in an ally way. the man was running after him." I HAVE TO COME BACK WITH AT LEAST ONE!" the man yelled out. he stood infront of jin with an animal tazer. Jin bared his teeth and started growling. again it got deeper until a ball of fire appeared in front of him. the man had a look of horor on his face. "WHAT THE!" he dropped the tazer and ran. the fire ball just barly missed as the man jumped out of the way.jin started panting. he was out of energy. in seconds he collapsed.

Natsumi followed him into the romm and sat on her bed, looking at him, rubbing her arm from the chill that filtered in the window.She let out a nervous laugh and then looked to the ground, "Yah, I know I'm a klutz, and a danger magnet...." she sighed, "Everytime I pray to even become the least bit more graceful, I become even more klutzy....." then she mumbled the last part as she looked to the ground, "I gave up that part a long time ago...."
She stood up and went to go shut the window and sat on the window seat, mesmirized by the full moon.
The only time I DO feel graceful is with my music.... She thought, a bit sarcastically.
She sighed, pulling her legs to her chest. "I just find it ironic that I found you the night I wished to not be alone...."

Nyx had made himself comfortable on on the same spot he had slept in the night before. Listen to her was fascinating and at the same time troubling since he heard many bad remarks about herself. He didn't think of her a klutz too much but a danger magnet yes. It was only fate of course and it only made him chuckle on the inside when he remember his brother being that way. Always tripping over things that weren't even there and having his life almost imperial. Nyx sudden reflexes to save Natsumi from falling and getting almost hurt seem to be normal habit he had back at home. "Don't bring yourself down too much....I mean your only human....well was fully human." He said under his breath as he let out a sigh and shut his eyes to listen to her once more. Nyx hadn't responded to what she said after since he wasn't too sure letting her known he was a wanted man from the galactic police was good.

Naomi had stopped a few feet away from the dog and dog catcher only to let her eyes widen more. Her mouth had practically dropped open in shock as she stared at the fire ball that had passed her and hit and unexpected building on the side. She didn't know what she was going to do or what to do for that matter. Luckily that had been the last fire ball for a long time since the canine passed out on the cement ground. Now it was only the two of them alone. Well she couldn't just leave the strange animal there. With a small sigh that escaped her breath she place her hoodie on to cover most of her face and walked to the unconscious dog. "God I must be crazy for doing this....." Naomi muttered under her breath before she bent over and pulled the dog into her arms. "I don't know what you are but.....you got a lot of explaining to do." She said as she lifted him off the ground with little effort and headed home. I guess missing school wouldn't be too bad.

"What do you mean, was fully human?" She asked in a whisper, whirling around to look at him. She sighed, "I don't even know why I bring myself down....but..." she smiled, "I guess....I just never really had anyone around to tell me not to...." She then fell back onto her bed, and climbed under the covers and looked over to him, "Are you comfortable? I have a lot of pillows....that is....if you would like one..." she said softly, somewhat shyly. She took a pillow from beneath her head and layed down, her eyes halfway closed, but before she fell asleep, all she could say was, "Thank you...I really wish there was something...I could give you in return...I owe you my...my life..." Before he could answer her, exhaustion had overcome her and she was soundlessly sleeping, breathing in and out softly.
Thank you.... Her thoughts echoed to him, I am so happy...that there realy is someone who cares....

He didn't answer her question since it would upset him enough that he did this. Again his ears listen to her intently with interest sparking in his mind. She had no idea how curious he was about her a mere human. His ears twitched in response to her words but he didn't open his eyes one bit. Knowing that doing so would make her noticed he was still listening to her. Natsumi finally quiet down and thanked him before drifting off to dream land. Before he had anytime to move and leave. Her voice brushed against his mind like a soft whisper. She was happy. Happy that he was around, happy that someone cared for her. Nyx had sat up looking at her troubled and a little relieved to hear her say that.
Looking back at the clock he let out a sigh and fully got up. It had gotten late and he needed to hide before her parents got home to find a guy with cat ears and a tail in their daughters room. He hadn't noticed until last minute that his feet had taken him instead to the door, it took him to the foot of her bed. Nyx eyes had widen as he stared at her fast asleep without a care in the world. He wished to dream as freely as she did. He let out a snicker before gently letting his fingers brush against her cheek. Quickly pulling back before he lose control he whispered something back into her ear. "Your are part of me now...and always will." Walking away quietly he stalked back to the attic and found his napping spot to sleep in.

Natsumi smiled subconciously, and fell deeper into the first real peaceful sleep she had experienced in a long time. Her parents came home at about 3 am, and only small soft footsteps were heard as they quietly crept to their room.

The next morning, or rather, afternoon, Natrsumi awoke. She had slept for so long, that her parents had left her a note, saying,
Dearest Nat,
We have gone out to get a few things, don't worry, we remembered your special day!
Look in your closet, there is a dress hanging in there for you, and we will hopefully be home soon. If we are not home in a couple hours call one of our cells. We love you,
Mom and Dad.
Natsumi sighed and went to her closet, she opened it and her eyes widened. A long dress hung in front of her in a mixed burgandy and maroon shade, strapless, and with a shawl for the shoulders. She smiled excitedly and took it and went to the bathroom to put it on. She came out, seeing how perfectly it fit, how the dress clung to her form and made her look very grown up.
"I wonder what they could be thinking..." she said to herself in a soft whisper, twirling about her room happily. She couldn't wait for Nyx to see this, she was excited.
"It's finally my 17th birthday...."
((I thought I would add a happy moment....since it had all been depressing...LOL. also because I'm very happy today...LOL))

He awoken a few hours after her parents had left and went straight into the kitchen to get a bite to eat. Their hadn't been much in her frig and Nyx was starting to wonder if this girl was going to get up anytime soon. The sun was close to setting that's why and he didn't want to worry that she was sick or still feeling hurt. She did seem happy last night when she went to bed so Natsumi should be ok hopefully. Wait why was he fretting over her like this, those small words should have meant nothing to him since he was deciding to leave later on.
Nyx let out a slight groan as he tried not to focus to much at what his heart was trying to tell him. Focusing back on the contents in the icebox, he grabbed a slice of cold pizza from the pizza box and bite into it. At first his reaction was that of foul look. It was odd tasting food but he had to deal with it since it was something edible to stomach.
He could hear faint foot steps from upstairs which made his ears stand up in alert manner. Well the girl was up, which made some of his worry go away.

Natsumi looked in the mirror with a smile. She was not too tall, not too short, and, she had a pretty and angelic face, even without makeup. She sighed and put a little bit on, a little bit of eyeline and clear lip gloss. She twirled around, Her hair flowed behind her and hung down in waves. She went to her closet and got her favorite black choker and tied it around her neck, and a black satin bow and ribbon flowing down the side. She then realized how hungry she was, and without a second thought, she went down to the kitchen.
When she got to the doorway, she stopped, and thats when she realized she was still wearing the dress. For some odd reason, she was felling nervous, but swallowed it, and spoke. "You know....we have more than cold pizza, you know....I can make soup or something with some meat we have...." She gave a half smile, "By-the-way....I wanted to thank you again for my life....I really would like to repay you...even if it costed my life....I owe you my life for saving me..."
Little did she know, what she had said, was very coincidental with the bond that she and Nyx shared, and she knew nothing about.

He had closed the refrigerator door before taking a seat on the stool that was close to the kitchen counter. Nyx knew she was probably coming downstairs to see if he was still here and had not disappeared. Well he didn't feel surprised yet until she appeared at the entrance of the kitchen wearing a very elegant dress that clung to her figure very nicely. She looked absolutely lovely that if made him shallow a piece of pizza without properly chewing it. Stay in control Nyx....He thought to himself as his eyes scanned her body to the smallest and biggest details.
Nyx had to blink a few times before his mind was able to get control of his mouth and speak out. "No....don't worry about me, besides I wouldn't want you to accidentally ruin that nice dress your wearing while fixing me something to eat." He said before hearing her next set of words, now this brought a sharp pain to his chest as he remembered what he had did to revive her. "You don't need to thank me.......more over I think you be mad at me for what I did." Now was a better time then never to tell her what he done. He had thought this over and over last night and wasn't sure if not telling her was a good idea. The more he heard her thoughts in his head the more he seemed to be troubled.

Natsumi sighed and sat up on the counter, "Why would I be mad at you? If you weren't here...I'd be....." she looked away not saying anything, her brunette locks falling into her maroon-tinted eyes, she looked back up at him, her eyes glistening, "I'd be dead. I don't care at all how you did it....I'm glad....I'm not the kind of person to get mad at someone so easily, for a method of saving another's life."
She got down and went over to the fridge and made herself a sandwhich, and started to eat it slowly.
"You see...before you came here....I was actually contemplating taking my own life....but that was just because of a hard week....when you saved me...the reason I cried so much, is because I then truly realized how* important life is, and having a second chance doesn't come to most people. I was really lucky, I guess....If it weren't for you...I wouldn't have reached the day of my 17th birthday....That's why I am so thankful..."

Was she so sure she could be thankful to this person that was lower than earth itself. Maybe giving her a warning to not get too comfortable with him was a good idea but he wouldn't make it too scary since it was her birthday and she should celebrate with not too much anger or sadness.
He scoffed only to look down again and let a out sigh before getting up on his feet and walking towards her with a wicked smile. Well this was going to be a scary way of explaining it, he was dangerous and was about to show her the real terror that he installed in his own people. Now in front of her he gently pushed away her loose brown lock of her that had covered her face and leaned in close as he whispered in a cold yet seductive tone. "Being bound by a killer isn't something you should be to thankful for princess." Her cheeks were warm by the touch which made him all the more lightly trace a pattern on her soft skin.
His yellow orb like eyes were more visible now and they revealed the unnaturally look they held. Faint silts on each eye were now visible as he looked into her fragile maroon colored eyes. Nyx let his breath touch her neck before pulling away and turning around to head back upstairs.
