J 4 C K Red Kutai J 4 C K Red Kutai J 4 C K Bulky's not always bad though. They would just be other Browse subtypes, I think. Like I said, I'll use them for working titles and if we can't come up with anything better, they'll probably stay that... 3nodding
With these latest additions, we almost have the majority of the rules made, I think. I also made a little order of operations list, but it's almost exactly the same as every other games'.
Start of turn -Start of Turn -Draw Step Main Phase 1 Battle Phase -Declare attackers -Opponent-Declare Blockers -Post -Resolve Battle Main Phase 2 End of Turn -End of Turn -Determine winner, if any Well, from what I here, there is no declares blockers; it's more like Yu-Gi-Oh in that respect. And I don't know if we need a particular step to Determine the Winner, or if it should be State-Based Effects thing, like Magic. It leads to two different types of game-play, and I don't know which would fit this game better... :/
All right. But the declare winners step is just there to look pretty, really. Ah. Well, that's alright. I think I've got the 5 (I figured about 5 would be good) Item--Special cards; Sealed Envelope, Pink Magical Gift Box, Blue Magical Giftbox, Enchanted Trunk, and Basic Fishing Rod. They work kind of like a continuous Browse card (since they can't be equipped), but they make absolutely no sense not being an item... (Pink Links, on the other hand, are definitely Browse cards...)

3nodding That all makes perfect sense. So I'm thinking we have enough rules to start experimenting with gold costs, eh?

Well let's just start making cards assuming you get 10G/turn from now on.

Well let's just start making cards assuming you get 10G/turn from now on. Alright; do you wanna try and fill in gold values for the Users I made earlier? I think they'd be a good place to start, since the game revolves around them... sweatdrop By the by, we should probably add a Gold Step to the Start of Turn Phase...

That's thinking like a Kutai. There should be a gold step.
And yeah, let's start with the users you already made.

And yeah, let's start with the users you already made. I like how the gold thing adds a challenge, but that challenege also applies to us. If you want something to come out first turn, it should cost 10(G). If you want it to come out second turn, 20(G); unless of course it should come out on second turn, and have allowed you to play something the turn before. In that case, it should cost 10(G) too; but that means that it could come out first turn as well. Looks like we're going to be doing 5's sometimes too, since a guy for 5(G) and a guy for 15(G) solves that problem rather well... 3nodding

Just realize that the cards you huys make will most likely not be the final draft. I'm not saying making them is pointless, it's not, but you'll probably have to make them over and over again.

Yeah. I was rather looking forward to the 2G Noob that can't use post cards and can't do damage.

I think he means the images for the cards, not the cards themselves. And Bill is an Ancestral Recall for one less card and one less mana. While we do need to implement some more card-drawing effects, I personally think both Bill and Oak were severely overpowered... (Of course, that didn't stop me from abusing them... wink )

Yeah. I was rather looking forward to the 2G Noob that can't use post cards and can't do damage. I see no reason why Lit can't be 0, but I understand the Int issue. But, I can simply raise everyone's Int by 1, so the power curve stays the same... 3nodding
