"Wooden spoon.." Alucard had no clue what a spoon was. Luckily, he managed to pick out the right object. He held the spoon in front of him, "This is a spoon, right?"

Loralei stuck her head out from inside the pantry and looked behind her. She saw the item in Alucard's hand which he proudly held out in front of him. "Yes, that's it." She smiled, then turned her attention back into the pantry. "Ah hah! Here it is!" She pulled the flour out of the pantry, only to realize it had a hole in the bottom...
After the white cloud of flour dissipated, Loralei waved a hand in front of her face. "Great. Now I need to buy some more flour..." She sighed, and wiped what powdery white stuff she could off the front of her clothes. "Luckily there's still enough in here for the cake..." She shook her head. "This is turning out to be much more difficult than I first expected..."

He figured that the white stuff was the flour, "Why do you need to buy more flour? Can't you just collect the flour that's on the floor and use it for later?"
Alucard walked over to the flour on the floor, stuck his finger in it, and then stuck his finger into his mouth to taste it. His eyes narrowed, but the rest of him just froze, "Ewww....this stuff is nasty! Do we really need this stuff to make the cake?"

"No, don't eat it! It's on the floor...." Loralei shrieked. She sighed once she saw that he put it in his mouth. "Yes, you do need it for the cake. You want the cake to look good and taste yummy don't you? Then sometimes you need ingredients that taste bad..."
She looked around her at the mess on the floor. "At any rate, you don't use or eat food (or ingredients) that have been on the floor. It can make your tummy hurt."

Loralei grunted. "At least it's hygenic... and I suppose it tastes good." She ruffled Alucard's hair and smiled. "Do you want to mix or shall I?"

"Yeeesss, dat is vat ze spoon sing is for." Loralei smiled, once again putting on the fake accent. She poured all the ingredients into a large bowl and set it in front of Alucard. "Now... stir."

"Because I felt like it." Loralei smiled, leaning on the counter. "Time to bake the cake!"
She could practically feel the excitement rolling off of Alucard. "Why don't you go catch some rabbits now? That way I won't feel bad about you getting dessert before dinner?" Loralei smiled.

"Oh! Ok! I vill catch ze rabbitsss," He laughed after his attempt at trying to mimic the accent. Alucard walked out the door and ran down the streets, eager to finish his hunting quickly.

Loralei sighed as she looked at the mess in her kitchen. She grabbed a broom and began to sweep up the mess in a cleaning frenzy. She was determined to have the place spotless before Alucard came back. Though I must admit I doubt it will stay clean for very long... Loralei happened to look up and saw batter stuck to the ceiling. Now how did that get up there...? She wondered, amazed at Alucard's obvious skill in creating chaos. She unfurled her wings and grabbed a wet rag. Loralei drifted up to the ceiling, careful not to beat her wings too much. Scrubbing at the stain on the ceiling, she rolled her eyes. That boy is too much. Loralei smiled to herself.

Alucard was dashing all over the place after the rabbits that lived outside the city. He finally managed to snag one and kill it by snapping its neck. This little hunt continued until he had a small collection of rabbits and other animals that he carried by using the shirt as a sort of net.

Alucard walked through the cities streets, a small trail of blood dripped down from the load that he was carrying. Finally, he reached Loralei's house and went inside, "Where should I put these?"
The blood was beginning to form a small puddle on the ground.
