((*sighs patiently for Lira*))

Bell nodded and moved closer to Troden. She settled a little but was not at all easy around this 'new' person. "Why are you here... or have I missed that part?" She glanced at Troden, searching for any uneasiness or anything. Her attention pulled back to Daystar, or whatever her name was.

Emit chuckled lightly before setting getting up and setting Seine back on her feet, I was here the whole time Seine so do not worry. I honestly don't believe it would be possible to leave you seeing as wind is faster than earth by far. he chuckled once again before offering her his arm, Shall we go?

--

Tyran had somehow made his way through the sea of dancers with the expertise of someone who had long since grown accustomed to its current and with good reason. It may have been a few decades since he stood upon the top of the stairs to survey the scene before him, but he knew even now as he took his place at the top of the stairs that this was where he was supposed to be. He even remembered his old mentor, Lady Merlin, still resided within this place. He would talk to her later.

His pale eyes widened slightly as he sensed the presence of the one he had been waiting, but just they hardened just as quickly. He had to stay strong...

Meanwhile his sisters gaze hardened slightly as well as their mother moved beside her. She felt the same need for strength as she said, "Mother, I was evil in my former life...wasn't I..."

--

Vincent watched Merlin go with a sigh, "I apologize for her sidden departure Lina. She has been a bit off lately..."

"There is no need to apolgize Lord Vincent. We all have our moments," Lina answered before bowing and disappearing in a flash of light.

Vincent frowned slightly before moving towards the shadows as well, but a strong grip on his arm stopped him in his tracks, "You know Moneko, most people ask to talk instead of using force..."

The grip tightened as Moneko spoke, "It hurts you doesn't it? The Light."

"What gives you that idea?"

"Darkness should never have a shadow," Vincent looked down and grimaced slightly as Moneko's Light did indeed produce a shadow from him, "How long have you been weakening and how far gone are you?"

"It doesn't matter now does it?" Vincent answered as he took his arm back, jerking it away from her, "I can hold out until my vessel is found."

"I hope so, for if you can't, I will take matter into I my own hands..." with they they separated, one disappearing into the shadows and the other into the light of the day.

Daystar blinked distantly and frowned, looking confused, her light green eyes loosing focus, she hadn't heard Isabelle's response to her initial question, "You're....not his Lady? I do apologize, it's just his scent is quite prevalent on you and I sense your affection for him." She tilted her head the other way, she was still looking where Isabelle had been a few moments before as if she hadn't realized the other woman had moved. She chuckled, a low musical sound, "I do seem to be blundering this visit, don't I?"

Magnolia frowned, tilting her head, "You were....tenaciously ambitious to the point of ruthlessness." She knew she was softening the truth but she couldn't help it, "I will be honest, I did love you even then, I'd hoped to bond with you because you were your father's daughter. And now you're my daughter as well and I have difficulty even remembering what you were like back then."

The guard recognized Goldie, he had to do a double take, though, she looked....well, atrocious really. Goldie was a good looking girl but there were dark circles under her red rimmed puffy eyes, her hair wasn't even close to the semblance of order and she was wearing a loose white t-shirt and grey sweats. He let her through without incident.

Goldie barely noticed the music, in fact, it seemed to be playing from far off, everything moving slower than usual as she moved through the crowd, not at all sure where she was going and yet her feet took her unerringlying towards the stairs. She was almost to the steps when she looked up and saw him. The world seemed to slow down even more and the music was muted, a faded pulsation of air in her senses, Tyran standing out amidts it all.

"I am, but you still haven't answered my question." Bell started to get irritated. Maybe it was the female in front of her or that her sister left, but it was starting to show. She took a quick breath to calm herself and smiled, "I do apologise." She glanced at Troden and then back at Daystar, "Can I get you anything?"

Seine raised a brow at the arm and chuckled lightly, wrapping her arm around his she gave him a large smile, "Where to boy wonder?" She paused, her smile lost and then she spoke again, "Man... wonder!!" Her teeth bore a white shimmer.

Daystar smiled, "You are aware that Troden is now dragon kin, yes? Since he is not residing in our home realms, as the liason of our people, I make periodic visits to those outside home....except the demon wyrms, I find that it's better to keep a mental tag on them than to visit them face to face." Her expression sobered, "I am worried, Troden, your aura reminds me of them in my senses, death and violence are thick around you."

Kari smiled sftly as her mother spoke, her gaze lowered, "Thank you mother...you are so kind and always want the best for me, but I am my father's daughter and can see the truth. All of us can." she slowly lifted her hand and placedit upon Magnolia's cheek, "I have unfinished business in the dark forest." and with that, she moved to the balcony and jumped off, her robes swirling around her as she faded away.

Of course the theatrics were over the top, but she wouldn't have it another way.

Tyran continued to look down, away from her as the dancing continued. Where was she? He didn't see the familiar sparkle of gold on anyone, but he could sense her. She was so very near that his hands gripped the railing in frustration. Why couldn't he hone her presence in?

He growled softly before looking down once again, the growl suddenly caught in is throat. Goldie... He didn't see the state of her clothes, or the dark circles under her eyes, all he saw was Goldie. His Goldie.

He slowly moved away from the railing and walked down the stair, his footsteps not even heard in the blasting music. He didn't stop until he was face to face with the succubus he had been dreaming of, "It's been a long time...Goldie.."

--

Man-wonder? That's a new one... But I suppose we should check up on our own people. It would be wiser than sitting around and doing nothing. Emit repllied as they walked. He had heard Vincent and Moneko's conversation, but he woudn't speak of it yet. He'd let the first Leader bring it up himself...

Meanwhile, Vincent returned to the Nocturne deep with the thought of Moneko's threat in mind, but forced it out of his mind as he saw Merlin. Worrying about that could wait, "Now, what was this surprise you spoke of?"

Merlin turned, an airy smile curling her lips but it dimmed a bit, dark red eyes darting to his arm and narrowing. A slow hiss curled into the room though she didn't appear to make any noise at all.

((...bleh...))

Magnolia watched her daughter, an unhappy expression on her face, she'd hoped for a brand new start for Kari, but just like Tyran, there were things they still needed to take care of....at least the things that Tyran needed to do were pleasant. Out of habit, Magnolia moved around tidying Kari's room, anxious energy powering her. Her thoughts moved to Dorien, wondering how the meeting was going, was it over, what was the news, how was Merlin? Had Copper been there too?

"Certainly. There is no problem." Remus returned with the water shortly and pointed down a hallway by the staircase. "The spare room is the last one on the right." He smiled a little. "Even if the there was a mixup, in the end you were protecting my son so my hospitality is gladly given."
"Thank you, Remus." Stefan answered, leading Mira to the guest room. She had to be tended too. Even if she wouldn't admit it, she was very tired. And in all actuality, she really did need sleep. But the magic on the house was bothering them both. Mira thought she recognized it to be her brother's. Stefan just thought it was strange.

"Hrm..." Quinn thought aloud, "Do I go and see my sister, or do I return to Ashra? I imagine he'll have plenty for me to do very soon..."

Quinn was rather torn. What was he to do? He so badly wanted to see his sister after so many years, but at the same time he was obligated to take care of his tasks as a balancer. If those were not handled first, then the world would eventually crumble. So in the end he decided to meditate a little longer. The flow of time would guide him, even if Ashra ended up helping a little along the way.

"And this...." Bell paused her eyes narrowed momentarily and then she sighed, "I have you come to take him away because of your senses or are you making small talk. Because if this is small talk I will have to ask you to leave." Her arms wrapped around her back, her hands grabbing the forearms as she watched the this lady.

Seine huffed, 'That's no fun.' She grumbbled and looked at Emit with soft eyes and then titled her head to the side, 'Are you alright... you seem distant.' Her head turned and her voice picked up a playful tone, 'Nope, Emit's thinking of other girlies. Awww...' She giggled and skipped ahead turning around, her eyes narrowed and her smile, a small smirk, 'I'll beat it out of you.' She lightly punched him and put up her fists up as she was ready to fight.

A series of emotions flashed across Troden's eyes, some of them good and some bad, but other than the glimmer in his eyes, he showed nothing. At the thought of Daystar leaving, he finally spoke, "No, I have a few questions that must be answered before she goes Isabelle..." his voice sounded distant for a good bit, causing even Raziel to pause as he entered the area, but it began sharp as ever as he looked at his wife, "What is the news from Arachneim and Mara? Have the Ten begun their move?"

Meanwhile, two women watched worriedly as Lady Kanna frowned and slowly moved to her feet, her hands grasping her warfans lightly as she did so, "Lady Kanna...is it wise to leave now? With Troden soon about to make his move-"

"The Ten will no doubt need to know what is going on," Kanna replied, "I will not allow my Sensei to die, even if the Lotus -those traitors- are helping him." with a flick of her wrist, her fans opened and a gust of wind filled the air, disturbing the calm srface of the water and bumping the lotus blossoms together. The woman already knew that when the wind disappeared, Lady Kanna would be gone.

She appeared within the Fae realm, or more precisely, the royal gardens of the dark Fae's king and queen, "Aster, I thought you would come if I called you." she said to no one in particular as she walked through the plants to a fountain nearby, "Where are you?"

Bell's gut sank, 'Damn.' She kept her eyes on Daystar, more afraid to look at Troden then anything, his voice was anything but gental. She didn't speak for a moment, her mind frantically working. Would he be pissed if she said no? She directed her attention at him, "No, I haven't given them an order to do anything. They are waiting for any order given to them." She stated firmly, her words carefully picked with not only the company they had, and him.

Troden looked at her strangely but said nothing. In a way, that did answer his question...

"Then we should get them started on their task," he replied before turning to meet Raziel, "Raziel, send word to the others. We have muc to do in not alot of time." Raziel nodded and bowed before fading away.

He kept his gaze upon the spot Raziel left as he said, "Now that I am Dragonkin, I am no longer part of the Sulla clan...is that right?" he asked quietly, the tension in the room rising slightly as his wings opened and returned to their capelike folds, "I do not even hold the rightful title as heir...do I..." it wasn't really a question.

"Troden..." Voice soft, teeth biting hard into her bottom lip Bell closed her eyes and turned her look to Daystar. She said nothing, her vision distant, no movement followed afterwards.
Bell was helpless, even if she wasn't she felt like it. A twitch in her eye and she came back to reality and looked over at Troden. He was still looking at Raziel. Her focus pinned on the man and then at the back of her lover, "Anything I can do?" She said at last, as if nothing had happened.

"Give Arachneim and Mara the order and gather what information they accumulate," he said as he came back to reality once more, "I hae faith you'll know what to do next." Troden then began to move towards the corridor Raziel had been before...straight to Kanna's chambers.

"This latest information will make things much simpler." his voice made unclear whether he was talking about what Isabelle had told or his own thoughts, but the level of calm he carried once before was back and that was all that mattered...right?

Meanwhile, Raziel slowly faded into the lycan territory, his darkbrown eyes mere pools of shadows within the darkness of the alley he was in. He stepped out calmly and looked at the building infront of him, "Fenrir's home base..." he murmured standing still as a group of lycans moved toward him, "This will be easier than I thought..."

Even as the lycans approached, something in the air caught their attention and they stopped. They turned to look at something behind them and then parted to let something through.

As they parted the way a large wolf came into view. Shadows seemed to gather to it and it simply stood up, eventually taking the form of a man. He smiled in a way that made even his own kind back away a little. He stopped when he was about five feet from the newcomer in his domain.

Fenrir brushed a little of his hair away from his face before casually speaking to the newcomer. "You smell of Trodan. I can only assume that to mean you come on one of his errands. What do you want?" With that one question the lycans looked excited and nervous as though expecting something violent to follow.
