Grabbed the updates.
Asking for prayers. Mom had a couple heart attacks last night/this morning. She has 3 new stints in her heart now, and is in recovery. Dad says she's ok. She's through the hard part and ok, but asking for prayers.

Asking for prayers. Mom had a couple heart attacks last night/this morning. She has 3 new stints in her heart now, and is in recovery. Dad says she's ok. She's through the hard part and ok, but asking for prayers.
Do let her know we are all pulling for her. And keep us posted on how she is doing. You must be absolutely frantic with worry.
My Mom had to have a pacemaker inserted a few years ago, so I know a little bit of what you must be feeling.
Modern medicine has come a long way toward complete recovery so be of good hope.

Oh, and I took the group for a walk, so they went once around the block with me for views. Hope it helps every one!
(Of course, *this* dragon is a bit big to be walked. Perhaps it is one of the "guardian" dragons, showing the little ones how it's done?)

Nah...didn't worry much today. Obsessed a little, but didn't worry. Already went through all this with Dad a few years ago, and Gramps many years ago.
She ended up having to do a second angiogram. She had more chest pains when she got out of recovery, so they whisked her away (before telling my dad anything, so he had no idea where she was for over 2 hours, frantically going place to place trying to find her) to OR. They found a much smaller artery blocked, but deemed it safer to just leave it alone than to try to stint it. We learned with Gramps, too much too soon and the heart stops, so we agree with that assessment. Dad said she's doing real well, and went home to take care of the dogs, and get some sleep.
Bad indigestion, isn't necessarily that. If Tums doesn't work, and nitro does....it's time for the hospital. smile Good thing Dad had his nitro handy!
Oh, yes! VERY lucky. Sounds like everyone did everything right. Yea!
Sorry I couldn't stretch things enough to make it to the actual page 600 . . . although I DID try! LOL
