"More quiet than normal. I do not understand what is happening with you." Tilting her head, she continued to observe his actions and eagerly awaited his reply. Mask, however, jumped off her shoulder and perched on the couch back between them, watching David quietly.

"Before you lost your memory? That is wonderful news. I feel as if we should be celebrating this. It had seemed that from what was communicated to me that it would be a daunting process." she smiled serenely as she said this, truly feeling happy that he had a speedy recovery. Mask meowed and moved around when David touched him.

Biting her lip gently, she sighed lightly. Mask flopped on to her lap, curling up in a little lump, purring softly. Before replying, she began petting the kitty, which helped her feel more relaxed. "I appreciate the invitation, however I do not care to drink alcohol. It is not something that I enjoy. My apologies if this dampens your spirit."

She broke eye contact with David, choosing to look away, to the center of the room for a moment. Was he trying to make her feel guilty for her choice? Mask stopped purring and made a disgruntled noise in the back of his throat. Turning her attention to the feline, she gently scratched under his cheek and down his back, the way he seemed to like it. Instead of purring like usual, he sat up in her lap, staring at David. Pursing her lips, she wanted to bring peace to her furry companion. "All is well."

*Finishing the moonshine, David tossed the bottle and grabbed a bottle of red wine from the distortion.*~Damn, this wine was ment for two, oh well...~*sighing, he brought the bottle close to his mouth and threw a glance over at Ziven...*

*She walked into the shivering lightly from the chilly air. She had gone ahead to get a table unsure on how packed the bar would be. Sighting a table near the fire she walked over quietly and set down.*

She smiled upon hearing his comment, wondering why he would say that. Adjusting her glasses, she then raised her eyes to his once more. "Correct me if I am incorrect. however you and several others seem to drink enough for 10 more often than not. Having a unit that is meant for two means you have a head start for yourself, no?"

~not nice...I only drink because i have to, and I ment that this wine was ment to be shared...but, I bet I could find someone else to share this with~

*She was pretty sure Cromm said he would be there shortly. Looking at the door brought a frown to her face everytime the door revealed someone but him.*

A sadness shown in her eyes with his reply. She had not expected her words to distress him like this. "My apologies, I did not mean to offend you. If celebrating with someone else would be more satisfying, I wish for you to do so." she said softly, lowering her gaze once more. For one who knew her, it would be clear that she regretted that her words had been disappointing to David. Hearing someone else in the room, she turned toward them, smiled and nodded to acknowledge their presence.
