Nelowulf Cale Darksun That reminds me, Cale needs to practice his swordsmanship. Vibrocutlass here I come. Why? You have no need for a cutlass. You expecting to actually engauge jedi on the ground? What happened to a rocket launcher and a "good blaster by your side"? Its part of the Image. Pirates are suposed to be able to swordfight.

And speaking of swordfighting....
Who, in all the raids you'll be performing, will have a sword to fight with?
DSA crews will be droids with blasters. Republic forces will be commandos with blasters.
And you're not going against a sith...
I see more use for a knife than a sword. But eh. Your choice. Just extra weight to lug around.

Useful for splattering blood of panicing, unarmed crew, in case he ever gets psychotic/homicidal tendencies.
Though, I'd prefer to draw and quarter them instead.

Cleaner that way. But Homicidal rampages don't help get crews to surrender any easier. It actually makes my job harder.
