"I am feeling .. apathetic at the moment. I do not actually wish to leave though I do not want to be bothered tonight." she tapped her cup again mindlessly refilling it with tea and drinking more. "I have .. reached my limit for now. After making an agreement with Ali, I nearly killed David unintentionally and before that had upset you deeply. Everywhere I go, I try to do good and always seem to do the opposite. I will not give up though I am disappointed with myself and finding fate to be rather devious."

Creaking the door open just enough for his slender frame, Gregger slid into the bar as if he were liquid. As he was new in town he felt almost.. timid, which was a complete character change for him. Usually his manner was brash, certain, and slightly arrogant, but never timid. It must be the fact that he was new.
Without a thought of it, he let the door lazily drift back into place, as those haunting emerald eyes of his surveyed the tavern. It was a simple bar, decent in every way, with a few people occupying it. Gregger languidly padded his way into the room, enjoying the feel of the razors gracing his feet scrape across the worn floor. For a moment he thought he'd hole himself up in some shady corner, sacrificing his evening to that of a voyeur, but then a second later he wanted to throw himself right across the bar and start up some idle chat with whomever he might find! One option was completely unlike him, and the other was just his style. One option would lead people to think of him as a loner, which he certainly didn't want, and the other might lead people to believe he is simply an immature oaf, which he also didn't want. Oh, the little things we torment ourselves over.
With the highest hopes of being understood as slightly eccentric (Or, wait, you have to be rich for that. Maybe he's just crazy.), but nevertheless friendly, Gregger sauntered on over to the main bar. Upon reaching it, he thought better of his initial plan and that it would be best to keep his actions in check, for he wouldn't want to be thrown out right then. So he instead plopped himself down onto a bar stool, careful to keep his bushy tail out of the way. Deciding to go for that oh-so-cool and aloof look, he struck a pose, with his back to the bar, legs spread, and each elbow resting on the counter behind him. Oh yes, he was so cool and aloof.. when this almost made him slip off his stool two seconds later. Perhaps he should have opted to sprawl out across the counter top.

Curled up with a book on a couch off to the side, Ziven heard someone enter the bar very quietly. It was the movement that caught her attention more than any sound, come to think of it. Raising a brow, she realized she had never seen this person before. Blue eyes darted from her reading to the new person and back again several times. She was unsure which may be more interesting at the moment. It was clear he was trying very hard to look suave but was not exactly Cassa Nova. Though she tried not to, she could not help but giggle softly as he faltered when sitting. The awkward landing reminded her of her own less-than-perfect movements. She hoped he had not heard her, and decided to say hello. Lowering her book slightly she smiled at him again. "Greetings. "

'Well, that was fun,' he thought with an amused tone to himself. 'So much for cool and aloof.' That was when he caught the faintest hint of a giggle, followed almost immediately by a simple 'Greetings'. Instinctively, he turned his head to seek out who it had come from. And those twin pools of emerald fell upon a girl curled up on a couch. A grin plastered itself across his face as he hopped up and from his current seat to take up a new position on the opposite end of this girl's couch. After all, he was bored and completely sick of being a suave, out-of-bounds sex symbol.
With that goofy, lopsided grin of his still gracing his face, he all but threw himself at the sofa and enthusiastically said, "Hey!" Oh, Gregger, you are so suave.

As he approached, she moved, following his motions, and turned herself to face him, placing her legs over the edge of the couch, sitting properly now. With a small snap, she closed her book and held it on her lap. Still smiling, she raised her eyebrows a bit as he casually flopped on the couch. "This is the first I have seen you. My name is Ziven." she said softly, extending her free hand.

Gregger was evidently more relaxed facing his new companion, as he let one leg dangle off the side of the couch and the other bend up towards him. He wasn't all too fond of handshakes, they always seemed a bit 'off' to him, but he went along with it anyway. Reaching out his own large, rough hand, he grasped hers with it, giving it a quick shake before saying, "Ziven, huh? Well, yes, I do believe this would be our first meeting, seeing as I'm new here. Oh, and my name is Gregger." Not being one for long pauses or silent moments, Gregger continued with his idle chit-chat, "So, tell me a little about yourself." Ahh, he was already recovering from his little spell of being timid. Why, just look at him, demanding things from near-strangers rather than simply heightening his pitch and asking.

Taking his hand for a moment, she was surprised that his skin was more rough than she would have expected. Being shy herself, she was unsure what she may try to say next. Listening to his reply, she was curious why he seemed so distracted and found that she was feeling relieved not to be the newest arrival any longer. Tilting her head curiously, she did not have to think about what to say since he pressed forward with conversation. Her mouth fell slightly agape being requested to speak of herself, as she was not accustomed to talking about herself. "About myself? Oh, well .. I am rather new here myself, only about a month really. My master said I needed to see the world so I walked until I found this place, which is the first that caught my interest. There is not much I can say about myself, honestly." she finished awkwardly, not having any idea what information he may wish to know about her.

A small ring of laughter escaped those lips of his at her feeble response. "That's all fine and dandy to know," he said, still all grins. "But I was asking about you, not how you got here. You know, silly little things, like your hobbies and whatnot," he paused for a moment, her words mulling over in his mind, before adding on, "Though.. I am a tad curious about this 'master' of yours. Please, do indulge me a bit more."

"Oh, I see. I do not speak of myself often, I do not know how to reply. Hmm." she pondered his clarification for a moment before continuing. "My hobbies are basically what I am doing presently, reading, observing and interacting with other people. I do very little else." she said with a small nod, satisfied that she had given an acceptable answer. "My master has taught me most everything that I know or provided the materials with which to learn from. When I was young, I was left with him without any explanation of why or how long. Never the less, they accepted me as an apprentice. It was about a year ago that my master said there was very little more he could teach." with this she stopped, thinking back on her final days with her master always made her feel more lonely since they were not with her. Wanting to move away from the subject, she replied back. "And what of yourself? Perhaps hearing your answer will help me to understand what you wish to know of me."

Noting that the light in the room had changed, Ziven turned her gaze tot he center of the room. There a ball of light hovered in mid air. Raising a brow, she said nothing, as she did not know what it was. Reaching out cautiously with her mind, she wanted to see if it was in fact, someone familiar.

"Hello David." she replied with her thoughts. Squirming slightly at his next comment, she felt uncomfortable for he to have brought that up. Dropping her eyes, she tried to hide her shame. "Nonsense, it was my fault you found yourself in trouble to begin with."

He let out a rather large yawn as her bland words washed over him, barely sinking in at all. "Why, you're just a little ball of excitement, aren't you?" He teased lightly as he stretched back a little, letting the pop-pop-pop of his neck fill the air. Nuzzling his head against the side of the couch, he went on, "So, what exactly did he teach you? Painting? Doubtful, you don't seem creative enough for that. Blacksmithing? No, that is definitely not it. Hum, what was it then?" So there was something in that ramble for him to elaborate on afterall.
Gregger glanced over to this new arrival, arching a single brow as his mind was working on just how to place him. Deciding to keep up his friendly demeanor, he shot him a small wave.
