☽ Emma ended up having no idea what to say then. Seeing Herald like this was a first, and she caused it. "I'm sorry..." she managed to say eventually, looking at the ground again. "I'm so sorry..." she repeated again. She was waiting for him to either yell at her or tell her to leave now. She wouldn't blame him if he did. ☾

Never Again...Herald didn't reply to Emma's comment, closing his eyes again as he flashed back to his human form. The doors slowly pushed open for him. He looked up at the room he had destroyed to get to The Reaver and it slowly began to repair itself. When it had finished he stepped into the fortress, returning to the bedroom and sitting down on the edge of the bed, leaning forward looking down at the ground silently. After such a great victory he had been soundly beaten in his own home by an opponent whose strength seemed impossible to match. Not only that but he had allowed Emma to be humiliated and forced her to crawl and beg for mercy from that same enemy. Will I be bound in chains

☽ Emma glanced up and watched Herald repair the building and then go inside. She was hesitant in following him at first but went in as well. She peaked into their room and saw Herald on the bed, she watched him for a moment before walking in and sitting on the bed behind him. She wished she was stronger. Then she wouldn't have had to say those things. She clenched her teeth for a moment before glancing up at Herald, staring at his back. After another minute or so, she moved so she was right behind him and rested the side of her head on his back. ☾

Never Again...Herald was silent until he felt Emma lean against his back. After a moment he turned half-way and took her in his arms, holding her tightly against him. He rested his head against the top of hers, taking deep breaths. "I made you humiliate yourself...." he said quietly. Will I be bound in chains
