Once more, if Gabby had to describe his boilfriend at the moment, no word better explained it than infectious. So when they kissed, Gabby's icy exterior finally broke, and he grinned at the boil, turning him around gently and holding him against himself. He pressed Efflo's back against his chest and swayed their bodies to the song, catchy and ironic lyrics sinking into his subconscious.
"I like this song." He growled playfully. "Works well. I can't help myself from falling in love, from falling in love with you.." Was Gabby singing? Yeah, those JOY vibes had finally kicked in..

Efflo was turned then pulled backward, settling against Gabby as they moved with the music. This was nice he thought, leaning against his dragon, enjoying themselves even with other people around. But if Gabby intended on singing, well, Efflo's 'joy' only stretched so far. He tilted his head up, looking at the boil curiously. "Hey Gabriel, do you know who sings this?"  "Come on, Molan, haven't you ever just let loose?" He stepped back, snapping his fingers to the beat. "I know it's not our song, but... we can dance together. Just like the old days." It would help Molan get his mind off of things, and he did enjoy coming up with antics with his brother.

Alice had no idea as to what she would even want to have as a break snack. Everything looked delicious, but Alice was just going to stick with just having some cold water. Refreshing, and healthy, in a way.
Alice did have some difficulty trying to find whatever table Eira decided to sit at. After a few different tries at searching, she eventually found sitting at table that had scribbles on it written in crayon, followed by some crayons. She sat down next to the ghoul, took a sip of her water, and looked a tad at Eira. "Your food is good, is it not?"Alice had arrived at Prom with this dress, these shoes, with a pair of black tights and a matching headband.

There were limits to making of fool of one's self in private because it seemed amusing... and dancing to a song that was just not ok to dance with your brother with. The nope on his face was of epic proportions.
Nope. Arms cross, full on absolutely not face. He was not dancing, no. They were in public.

"Please?" Etzer tried again, snapping his fingers and twirling around Molan, attempting to get the other to follow his moves. "We could really take the show away. Just us two! ... besides, my boilfriend is missing. I really don't want to be on the dance floor alone."

"Er. Right," he said, and reached for her hand again. "Right.
"...right."
...to be fair, he wasn't that bad. Actually, he managed to get somewhat of a sort of rhythm going on after a moment, Xavier's shoulders losing some of the droop they had had before.

She laughed, tail twirling around with her as she was spun back into Ren's arms. LW stole a kiss from him, nuzzling her cheek against his. His words rang true for both of them and she couldn't quite place the last time they had just... gone out dancing and laughed like this.
"I'd almost have said you'd forgotten how to have fun like this." She said innocently, tapping him on the nose.
Annnnd then he was off again, running towards the stage. At least he didn't trip or run into anyone.
Then nothing mattered anymore but hearing Ren's voice as he sang. And her eyes may or may not have watered up. She stood there, watching her boilfriend while everyone danced around her, a slow and special smile forming. LW caught Ren's gaze and then she was moving and joining him on the stage. The final round, was it? Then they had to dance their best!

It could have been worse, all things considered! Steffani tripped on her own feet as they danced for the last round, but at least it wasn't Xavier's feet. The rhythm was a little off, but... Hey.
She didn't dance. She was just happy a part didn't fall off. She grinned at Xavier, though. "See? Totally fine." Or something like it. Of course, as she said that, her feet got tangled up again and she stumbled. But she righted herself quickly.
"... Still totally fine." She cleared her throat, sheepish. It was fun, though, dancing with the demon. Falls and all!

Wait, what was going on? They had simply been dancing, it had actually bee a little fun but then all of a sudden Maple felt the smaller ghoul put her hands around her waist with a sort of different intention.
Like to throw her. Which.. she tried to do. It didn't go very well, because Maple fell. Ow.

The look remained. Limits Etzer, there were always limits to stupid ideas. Making an absolute fool of himself in front of what was likely most of the school was one of those limits.
The nope on his face didn't budge an inch. Actually his ears might have pinned back a bit more at being asked. "No." Even the most pathetic, epic sad face that Etzer could manage might not have budged that one.
But he could try if he wanted. Perhaps there'd be some luck. It probably didn't help a certain winged boil that Molan blamed for turning him rainbow that one time was on stage singing.
Nope nope nope.

WAIT WAIT WAIT! WHY WAS MAPLE GOING IN THAT--- "NO NO FALL THIS WAY!"There was the sign of the ghoul darting straight for Maple as the tried, avidly, to get close enough to save her after that epic throw.
But nope. Splat when Maple and there went that perfect throw. "...oopsie?" She did scurry over to hold out a hand to help the ghoul up just as the final round was starting, offering a bit of a sheepish grin. "Well... we cans till have fun?" Nope, not asking if she was fine. Maple had to be.
Becase they had dancing to do! DANCY DANCY TIME! "Just do like I do!"
And then she began dancing along, a bit slowly at first to let Maple see before picking up pace to the beat of the song. They didn't look too bad right?

If Maple was a more... loud and direct person, she might have tried to confront Simply on the concept of falling and how sometimes it was not in someone's control where they did it.
She wasn't sure if that apology was very earnest as well, even if the werefox did help her up. That was at least a nice little effort. "I s-suppose," they didn't seem to be out of this yet and even if her behind hurt a little, she kept on going (Simply seemed to want to keep going, and she would hate herself for failing the other ghoul).
And then stood there a little horrified at what Simply wanted her to do. That was a little crude, wasn't it? Oh Hecate, the blush that was prompted. Goodbye modesty, with a little bit of a whimper, Maple followed suit, trying to do as the other was instructing her to do.
(It was a little hard to see with her long dress, well, at least that covered up some sloppy footwork).

He pulled her towards him, a mischievous grin on his face. "Have I told you lately that I love you?" Ren asked, and kissed her before twirling her around in a wide arc, moving around behind her and then leaping very melodramatically off stage, deliberately over-acting it just to be silly.
He spread his arms out from side to side, laughing.
"Come on, dearheart!"

Alex had spent the entire competition judging the crowd of dancers, moving amongst them all by dancing and weaving his way around the snapped together wooden floor made into a three ringed circus. He had to admit silently to himself that some of them were good. Like, really, really good! Others.....well, perhaps they could use just a little more practice. Two in particular were really standing out to the zomboil, who danced his way over towards the pair. One of them wasn't even dancing at all! Giving the two boils each a tap on the shoulder for there attention, he gave them a broad smile and waved with both hands before making shoeing motions for them to exit the dance floor.
