(( sorry for not being around lately...>.<))
Miyoko looked around the kitchen. " Sister-san!!" she cried out with glee, in search of Serena." she poked her head out into the hall, letting her long hair fall over her face. " Sakura-chan,Amaya-chan, Have you seen Serena-san? I can't find her anywhere..Are you sweeping by yourselves? Let me help you!" she grabbed a spare broom and began to sweep, tucking a loose strand of hair behind her ear.

Serena thought she heard Miyoko's voice.

Akemi watched Amaya and Sakura walk back into the Okiya, chatting away companionably. She slid off her sandals, knelt on the damp grass and closed her eyes.
Just to get away from the bustling of the Okiya was wonderful; her old home had been calm. Her and her siblings had learnt to get on well together and the house had been comparably quiet compared to the Okiya, even though it had a good many inhabitants. She murmured a quick prayer, in hope that her parents and siblings were happy and well.
Akemi savoured the peace for few more moments. Even though it was her first day at the Okiya, it felt like she had been her much longer.
She slowly opened her eyes; stood up and brushed off her robe and slipped on her sandals. She stretched a little and walked back through the sliding door that Amaya and Sakura had left open for her. It slid shut quickly and shut out the draughty night air.
Akemi saw Amaya, Sakura and Miyoko sweeping the halls, so she reached into the store cupboard and extracted a brrom for herself. She set about sweeping the kitchen, stifling yawns that were gradually growing longer.

Ayame wiped the dust from her hands elegantly and placed the rag into it's rightful place; where all the other cleaning tools lay in a cupboard. She washed her hands and helped herself to a pear.

Sakura was pleased to have so many people helping Amaya and her sweep the okiya. Sakura was quite interested in how eveyone was so pretty and beautiful. Then Sakura heard yawns coming from the kitchen, so she went to see who it was. When Sakura saw Akemi yawning she went over to her, "Akemi-san, you seem tired., you should get some rest. You shouldn't over exert yourself on your 1st day." Sakura said with a smile. (post 29)

Amaya continued to sweep the dirt all the way down the hall and through the door to the outside. Afterwards, she went into the kitchen and got a rag and began to wipe down the counters. When she completed to this task she returned to Sakara and said;
"I am worn, I think I am going to retire for today. Goodnight."
With that, she walked down the hall and slid open the door to her room. She stepped in and closed the door quietly behind her.

"I am quite tired also." Sakura said. Then Sakura looked over at Akemi, "Please go to bed soon, you need your rest. Good night."
Sakura followed Amaya to the maid's room and bid Amaya goodnight. Then Sakura laid on her bed and drifted into a good sleep. (post 30)

"I shall go to bed soon!" Akemi said, turning to face Sakura and nodding gently. "Goodnight, Sakura-chan. Have a good sleep." She watched Sakura walk down the corridor and retire to the maids' quarters. Akemi finished sweeping the kitchen floor and replaced the broom to the store cupboard quietly, hoping not to disturb Amaya and Sakura, whose gentle breathing could be heard in the quiet of the hallway.
Akemi's stomach rumbled and she blushed in the darkness; she thought she had better eat something before she went to bed. A nice, juicy plum! she thought to herself, so Akemi walked back into the kitchen and helped herself to a plum from the fruit bowl. Once she had finished savouring the sweet juices, she wiped her mouth with a napkin and decided it was finally time for bed. She walked over to the bin and dropped the napkin and plum's stone in it, then found her way to the maids' quarters. She changed and laid down on her newly-made futon, drifting gently into sleep.

Sakura awoke late into the night from a dream, by the site of her futon, she had been tossing and turning. After a while of failed attempts of trying to return to sleep she decided she might as well get up. Sakura pulled out a book she found on the road one day and went outside and read by the light of a candle. (post 31) (when do u become a maiko?)

Frozen Dreams of Winter Amaya entered the okiya quietly, slidding on her first pair of house slippers at the okiya. She looked around nervously, unsure of what to do or where she was to report to. Her think hair was braided and hung over her shoulder. She walked into the okiya a little more and stood, waiting for someone to come tell her what to do.

RosePetals91 Rose smiles happily to the new girl "welcome!" she bowed to her "please come in, i'll show you to the maids room. by the way, my name's Rose." Amaya bowed as low as possible, unsure if this women was a Geisha or maid. "Hai, thank you." She stood up. "I'm Amaya."
